It's scary just how relatable Sydney Jo's TikTok series is.The 27-year-old content creator from New York posted her first video, about friends communicating in a group chat, back in March. She told me me her social media account has blown up since then.We see the girls bicker, talk in side chats, and send passive aggressive messages to each other, something Sydney said is "a universal experience"."My friends, work colleagues and sisters all had similar stories about their texts and group chats," she said. "This is something that's only going to continue, as we start having bachelorettes and weddings."Sydney says she filmed the first episode hungover on a Sunday morning.But as her followers rocketed from 264,000 to 1.6 million in just a few months, she now has a huge fan base, with Today calling her series "the internet's favourite show".With season three now out, Sydney said we can expect more camaraderie, more feel good moments, but also more shared common enemies.She also hinted there could be a boys' group chat series next. "I didn't anticipate the male audience I would draw. I had a 50-year-old dad recognise me recently," she said.

James Gunn's hotly awaited reboot of Superman, a film that Hollywood is hoping can break the plague of "superhero fatigue", is out on Friday.American actor David Corenswet, 31, plays the Man of Steel in the movie that's intended to kick-start a new era for DC Studios, which writer-director Gunn and producer Peter Safran took over in 2022.Corenswet, who has previously appeared in TV series The Politician, Hollywood and We Own This City, is the fourth person to play the role in a major Superman movie, and the first for a decade.It also stars Rachel Brosnahan as the latest Lois Lane and British actor Nicholas Hoult as a bald and menacing Lex Luthor.DC has struggled to find major hits in recent years, with films like Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman 1984 and Joker: Folie à Deux - part of the wider DC stable - each earning less than $60m (£48m) at the North American box office.So there's a lot of anticipation to see how this film does - and to drum up excitement, a life-like Superman figure was seen suspended at the top of The Shard in London earlier this week as part of a one-day-only installation.

Well you're almost certainly not as good as the professional players heading to Saudi Arabia for the Esports World Cup, which starts on Tuesday.Over seven weeks, the best in the world will compete for a record combined prize pot of $70m (£50m).Now in its second year, the EWC brings together 25 different esports into one event. That means games fighting games like Tekken 8, first person shooters such as Call of Duty, and battle arena juggernauts Dota 2 and League of Legends, will all be there.The format has encouraged some consolidation in the esports world, because the Club Competition encourages teams to field players in as many different games as possible. The team with the most points at the end gets a bonus $7m (£5m).Some fans and players haven't been keen on the EWC though. It's been criticised for taking place in a country where women have fewer rights and being gay is illegal. Others say only with Saudi Arabia's cash can esports grow and compete with traditional multi-sport events like the Olympics.
Finding the next football pundit
On Monday, a new BBC competition series to find the next football pundit starts on iPlayer as well as on BBC YouTube and TikTok channels.Fronted by footballing legend Troy Deeney and YouTuber and presenter James Allcott, Last Pundit Standing follows 12 football fanatics as they compete to become BBC Sport's next big football content creator.Think the X-Factor meets the beautiful game, as they face a series of kick-off challenges in their bid to land their dream job.There will also be star guests, including Alex Scott, Rebecca Welch and Max Fosh, on hand to set tasks and offer expert insight.The seven-part competition series comes shortly after Gary Lineker left the broadcaster after apologising for sharing an antisemitic social media post.In May, he was presented with a commemorative cap and golden boot by pundits Alan Shearer and Micah Richards as he signed off from his final edition of Match of the Day after 26 years in the hot seat.

The special meaning behind Kelly Osbourne 's eye-popping diamond engagement ring has been revealed after boyfriend Sid Wilson popped the question backstage at her dad Ozzy 's final gig on Saturday night. MailOnline can exclusively reveal how the Slipknot musician, 48, turned to luxury jeweller Mouawad to help him create the custom sparkler which also paid tribute to his partner's late friend Joan Rivers. In a clip from Sid's first meeting with Mouawad boss Pascal Mouawad, he explained that he wanted the bauble to nod to a nickname both he and the comedian, who died in 2014 aged 81, had for Kelly, 40. He said: 'So I have a nickname for Kelly, and it's "Honeybee" and coincidentally a friend of hers, Joan Rivers used to call her this'. 'It was a nickname [Joan] had for her. I didn't know this, it's like an amazing coincidence, it's like whoa, like meant to be'. He explained how Kelly, who co-hosted E! Fashion Police with the late Joan, had landed the moniker due to her always 'buzzing around' and 'spreading good energy' so wanted the ring to be inspired by bees and pollen. Drawing from this affectionate nickname, the ring's design features a unique beehive inspired structure, seamlessly marrying sentiment with elegance. The result is a dazzling 18K yellow gold ring adorned with both white and yellow diamonds, as well as citrine accents. If that wasn't enough the centre piece is a stunning 2.5 carat round brilliant-cut diamond, symbolising the enduring and multifaceted nature of love. Later in the clip Sid was left stunned when he saw the ring for the first time and his idea come to life. 'It's like blinding! it sparklers!' he exclaimed, 'She's just going to live it, it's beautiful' before choking back tears as he described the gorgeous ring as 'more than prefect'. Following Joan's death Kelly got a bumble bee tattoo in tribute to her late pal and the nickname she had given her. Taking to Instagram she wrote 'In honor of you @joanrivers..."If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. 'Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds, a miracle." TNT Sports host Taylor Rooks has confirmed fan theories that she was name-dropped by Drake in his latest song. The rap superstar shocked fans as he shared the first episode of his new series 'ICEMAN' over the weekend - which included a snippet of a song called 'Supermax'. Fans were quick to note that one lyric mentioned a woman known as 'Taylor', with many speculating it referred to the TNT Sports host, who is a known friend of Drake. Caitlyn Jenner suffered a big loss this week when her right-hand woman, Sophia Hutchins, 29, died in a horror ATV crash on July 2. And on Saturday morning, Jenner was spotted finding comfort with Sophia's mother while out together in Malibu. Hutchins, like Jenner, was transgender and cited the father-of-six as the inspiration for coming out in college at Pepperdine University in 2016. Jenner looked somber as she strode ahead of Sophia's mother a day after she declined to speak about her late friend. Caitlyn wore a long-sleeved blue T-shirt with grey pants and a visor while Sophia's mom wore a long-sleeved green T-shirt and knee-length white shorts. Sophia wasn't just Jenner's manager, she was her friend and lived in the Olympian's Malibu mansion with her. Jenner looked somber in Malibu on Friday, marking the first time she had been seen in public since the tragedy - before exclusively telling she was going through 'tough times' navigating the loss of Hutchins. Putting on a brave face, she was seen waving at photographers before heading back to her $3.5million Malibu mansion. The star later said 'I don't want to talk' about the tragedy. In 2017, Hutchins moved into Jenner's home and began working as the star's manager, taking over the role from Jenner's ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69, after their 2015 divorce. Hutchins was in Jenner's inner circle for over a decade after she came out as a transgender woman in 2016. Hutchins met Caitlyn that year and appeared in multiple episodes of the television documentary series I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved', insisting it was all about work and friendship. 'Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' Sophia said. In 2020, Sophia posed for an online ad campaign for Kim Kardashian's highly successful clothing line SKIMS. Sophia was particularly close to Kris Jenner, speaking to her regularly, and Hutchins also had a good relationship with Jenner's daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27. The siblings once gave Sophia a stunning heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas. 'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall', Sophia said. Sophia was formerly Scott Hutchins and began her transition while attending college, but previously revealed that she had identified as female at a young age. As a student at Pepperdine, she began to undergo certain medical procedures as well as hormone treatments and hair removal. The businesswoman had seen a therapist - who helped aid in the decision to transition but seeing Jenner's 20/20 interview where the star announced her own transition put everything into full swing. During an interview with her school newspaper in 2016, Hutchins reflected, 'I've always had the question of "Do I want to transition from male to female?" 'I never thought a lot about doing it until I got into college because I was able to break away from my family and started to establish my own identity.' She had also given credit to her time at school 'to deal with a lot of issues that had always been there.' And after watching Caitlyn's interview, Sophia explained that it, 'made it so much more real for [her], like normal and successful people do this and people are okay when they do it.' Hutchins ended up taking some time off of school in order to complete her gender transition. When she was at the age of 15, Hutchins remembered telling a friend that she was female for the first time. 'It's almost like it just came out. I didn't even mean to let it out since I had been so used to holding it in and brushing it under the rug.' In 2019 during an appearance on Jim Breslo's Hidden Truth Show, Sophia also got candid about her gender identity. The media personality remembered making comments about her gender dysmorphia to her parents as young as age five. After her transition, Hutchins stated, 'I truly feel my spirit, my soul, my mind is exactly the same, I am just so much more comfortable physically.' 'Before I transitioned I felt like "Yeah, I'm definitely just a girl, but I'm in the wrong body." And I felt trapped in that body.' She added, 'And I needed to have the hormones to change the body, for me, the surgeries to change the body. 'But for me, that's what I wanted to do, and that's what made me ultimately so at peace.'
