Kylie Minogue fans offered 'fun' hotel package ahead of Glasgow gig
The package, tailored for fans who want to start the party early, transforms hotel rooms into a pre-show hangout.

Costing £75 per room, the deal includes access between 11am and 6pm or can be added to an overnight stay.
Those who book the package deal will have early check-in from 11am and will receive a welcome drinks package as well as the opportunity to order food and straight to their door.
Guests will also have the choice of either a bottle of prosecco or four Kylie-inspired cocktails.

Neil Taylor, general manager at VEGA, said: "We know how much our guests love making an event out of a night like this.
"We wanted to create something fun and memorable—something that guests can't get out of their head.

The rooms, decked out with "sparkle" and "glamour", are designed to provide the perfect backdrop for selfies and cocktails ahead of the Australian stars performance .

Following major backlash to his latest silver screen role, Peter Andre is trying his hand at acting once more, this time on TV—and he's starring alongside one of the greats. The 90s pop star caught heat earlier this year when the trailer for Jafaican dropped, a movie in which Peter plays a small-time con artist immersing himself in Jamaican culture to pull off a risky scam. It involved the Australian singer, 52, wearing dreadlocks and putting on an accent, with social media going to town with their criticism and ripping into the 'outrageous' plot. A few months on, though, and Peter is back with a very different role. It's been confirmed that he'll star in The Sunshine Murders, a murder mystery drama set to air on Channel 5 in September. Teasing the job in his OK! Magazine column last October, he penned: 'I have also got a part in a new Channel 5 drama as one of the lead characters, which I'm excited about. 'I can't reveal the name of it just yet or give much away, but I start filming next month and can't wait to get stuck in. Watch this space!' Now, we have a look behind-the-scenes of the action, thanks to images shared with the cast. Shot by Cork Films, the series will also guest star English acting legend Stephanie Beacham, Dimensions star Camilla Rutherford, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows actor Nick Moran, and EastEnders' Nina Wadia. In a smiley photo, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker sits beside Coronation Street star Stephanie, 78, with him wearing a tracksuit while she is glammed up in costume to play Lady Gloria Whitten-Soames. Another sees him in the dressing room with his co-stars, as well as supportive son Junior, 20, who seemingly visited his dad on set. As for Peter's part in the show, he'll be seen like never before, donning all the professional get-up of a Greek pathologist tasked with examining the murder victims. When Peter's casting was confirmed earlier this month, he was seen on the official poster for The Sunshine Murders, wearing his white lab coat and blue rubber gloves. We know that his character's name is George Constantinos, but that's all for now, as further plot details are being kept hush-hush. Peter will likely be hoping for a warmer response to the character of George than that of Jafaican's Gary Buckle, aka Gazza. Upon facing the wrath of the internet, Peter spoke out in defence of the film, which also starred Wil Johnson, Jamie Lomas, and Oliver Samuels. Ahead of the movie's release celebrations in Queensland, Peter was asked by Channel 7 in Australia: 'The trailer did see some headlines about an English-born, Australian-raised actor playing a Jamaican character; you know about that? Are you surprised there's been some mixed feedback here, or were you anticipating that?' He responded: 'Well, to be fair, I mean, I think it's good to get all sorts of feedback. I mean, this is not … it's my first lead role, but I've done quite a few roles before. And all of them, I've played different characters. 'So for me, it's acting—I get to do something light-hearted, something funny. Something that, y'know, is the kind of film I'd wanna watch. So it's almost like a little bit self-indulgent in the sense that I get to do something that I've really, really wanted to do.' Peter went on to praise director Fredi Nwaka for allowing him to play someone 'very, very different'. In a further conversation with Metro, the Insania vocalist insisted it was 'never the intention' to 'genuinely offend' anyone. He also recalled his Get Down On It with Kool & The Gang, which he re-released in 1996. In the music video, he wore an Afro wig. 'I was just a bit surprised that this was the one that seemed to cause controversy, and not the role that I played in Fredi's last film, where I actually had to play someone that was racist,' he added, referring to the 2022 film On the Other Foot, in which he played a member of the EDL. Daniel Boulud will headline NYC's Le Dîner en Blanc
The all-white affair that is Le Dîner en Blanc is returning to NYC this fall, landing in an undisclosed location on September 19. Billed as the 'World's Largest Dinner Party,' the roaming event gathers thousands of people around the globe, all clad in white, to celebrate an evening of gathering, food and revelry under the stars. This year, lucky New Yorkers attending the French-inspired picnic will be joined by an authority of the cuisine itself: the one and only Daniel Boulud. The acclaimed chef, restaurateur and cookbook author will be curating picnic baskets for the exclusive evening. 'Dîner en Blanc always brings a burst of French summer feasts to cities around the world in a celebration of friendship, fashion, and food,' said Boulud in a press release. 'As a French New Yorker, I'm honored to prepare a festive picnic basket for this magical evening. It will certainly be the largest and chicest gathering of fête a laFrancaise!' Priced for $130 per person, the Épicerie Boulud Basket: Capucine includes plenty of nibbles, including green gazpacho and paté en croûte to lavash, hummus and baba ganoush spreads. The Roasted Chicken Salad serves as the main, and the basket includes two desserts: a raspberry shortcake with vanilla creme and poppy seeds and orange blossom madeleines. If your tastes lean towards vegetarian, you can order the Épicerie Boulud Basket: Tournesol. For $115, the basket includes all the fixins' listed up above, but swaps the chicken for the Vaduvan Cauliflower. While reserving the food is not a requirement, the inclusion of the picnic baskets may just help lighten your load. You see, as luxe as the party puts on, Le Dîner en Blanc is incredibly DIY, calling back to the party's roots as an informal gathering of friends. Despite its now worldwide status, making cameos at 120 cities in over 40 countries around the world, the event is partially curated by its guests, as attendees are required to bring tables, chairs and food (if you don't end up choosing the catered option). If you'd rather not lug your foldout chairs on the subway, the New York party provides rented furniture with two tables and two chairs priced at $86. Don't forget to pack the decor, as this year, diners are challenged to wear outfits and create tablescapes that fit the global theme: floral elegance. This is all on top of the entry fee, priced at $60. As polarizing as the event may be, the pop-up dinner party has taken over some iconic locations in NYC. First arriving in the city back in 2011, the soiree commandeered the streets of the Meatpacking District in 2023, and last year, the party turned Union Square Park white as 3,000 people took over the square.

Torode confirmed to The Sun that this allegation referred to him, but denied that it had ever happened. Now, in a video uploaded to Instagram today, his wife Lisa broke her silence for the first time. She said: "Hi there, I just wanted to check in and say hello and I'm here. "Just thank you for all your really lovely comments because they really mean a lot, so thank you." Wallace, 60, was dropped from the BBC cooking competition in November 2024 amid numerous allegations of inappropriate conduct in the workplace. But a BBC report which upheld 45 of 83 allegations of bad behaviour against Wallace also upheld a claim that a second person used a racial phrase once several years ago - which emerged to be Torode. Torode accepted the allegation referred to him, but has denied the claims and said he has 'no recollection' of the event. He also revealed that he had been told the person with whom he was speaking "did not believe it was intended in a malicious way". The BBC was unable to specify the time or date of the allegation, narrowing it down to '2018 or 2019'. Gregg Wallace breaks silence on racism claim against MasterChef co-host John Torode Torode followed Wallace in being sacked by the BBC after allegedly using a racial slur when repeating lyrics from rapper Kanye West's hit Gold Digger at an after-work gathering. The Australian began presenting the BBC cooking contest alongside Wallace in 2005. Gregg and John celebrated the show's 20th anniversary in 2024 with a special dinner at Fishmongers' Hall in London. It comes after Wallace unfollowed Torode and Faulkner on Instagram in December, with sources claiming at the time that he was 'furious' his former co-host had not defended him publicly amid the furore. But he recently defended Torode against the racism allegations in a bombshell chat with The Sun. In an exclusive interview he said: "I'll tell you one thing right now: John Torode is not a racist. "I've known John for 30 years and he is not a racist. 'And as evidence of that, I'll show you the incredible diversity of the people that he has championed, MasterChef winners, over the years. "There is no way that man is a racist. No way. And my sympathies go out to John because I don't want anybody to go through what I've been through.'
