VIDEO - 'Israeli' military says opened new corridor splitting Gaza's Khan Younis
It was established by the IOF's 36th division and dubbed 'Magen Oz'.
The corridor also connects to the recently established Morag Corridor, which separates Khan Younis from Rafah, according to a graphic published by the 'Israeli' military.
It is 15 kilometers long, and is a 'a major part in exerting pressure on Hamas and defeating the Khan Younis Brigade,' the army claimed in a statement.
Following the Netzarim, Philadelphi, and Morag corridors, the Magen Oz is seen as a new point of leverage to be used in the stalled Gaza truce talks with Hamas.

US proposes new deal as if ‘Israeli' violations never happened: Hezbollah's leader
Sheikh Naeem Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, recently addressed the escalating tensions in the Middle East, highlighting key concerns regarding US and 'Israeli' actions in the region. Qassem criticized the United States for proposing a new agreement that seemingly ignores eight months of previous violations. He asserted that the true goal behind ongoing aggression is to disarm Hezbollah in order to reassure 'Israel'. The Hezbollah leader condemned 'Israel' for conducting airstrikes on Syria without any genuine threats, describing 'Israel' as an expansionist entity and a real danger to regional stability. He warned of ongoing attempts to suppress any resistance that could hinder Israeli expansion. Qassem also accused 'Israel' of seeking control over every part of the region under the pretext of 'Israeli security.' He expressed deep concern over threats to Lebanon, including warnings from the US envoy linking Lebanon's fate to another state and inciting discord within the country and its military. Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Qassem said Hezbollah and its ally, the Amal Movement, feel they face an existential threat to both the resistance and Lebanon's diverse communities. He pointed to direct 'Israeli' threats and proxy forces operating in other areas as the greatest dangers facing Lebanon today.

British police end probe into Nickab's alleged anti-'Israel' remarks at Glastonbury
British police announced on Friday the closure of an investigation into alleged anti-'Israel' statements made by the three members of the Irish-Northern Irish rap group Nickab during the Glastonbury Festival in late June. Avon and Somerset Police (Southwest England) said in a statement that after consulting with the Crown Prosecution Service, they decided not to take further action due to insufficient evidence to charge the rappers, according to Agence France-Presse. During the festival, the group accused 'Israel' of being a "war criminal," voiced support for Palestinians, chanted "Free Palestine," and urged the audience to repeat phrases insulting UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The remarks stirred controversy, especially after one member, Liam Ohana, known as Mo Shara, was charged with "terrorism offenses" following his display of a Hezbollah flag at a concert in London in 2024. Mo Shara is scheduled to appear in court in London on August 20. Nickab welcomed the police's decision on social media, calling the investigation a "political intimidation attempt." In a post accompanied by a screenshot of the police email announcing the investigation's closure, the group said, "We held a historic concert at Glastonbury… anyone who saw our show knows no laws were broken." One element of the political policing intimidation attempt is over. We played a historic set at Glastonbury. Whole area closed an hour before due to crowds. A celebration of love and solidarity. A sea of good people at the world's most famous festival. Shortly afterwards we… — KNEECAP (@KNEECAPCEOL) July 18, 2025 However, police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing into remarks made during a performance by British rap group Bob Vylan at the same festival. During that show, a member shouted, "Death, death to Israeli forces," encouraging the crowd to repeat it.

Mossad chief sought US help to relocate Palestinians from Gaza: Sources
Mossad Director David Barnea visited Washington this week to seek US support in persuading foreign countries to accept large numbers of Palestinians from Gaza, according to two sources cited by Axios. Barnea reportedly met with Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump's envoy, and told him that 'Israel' had been in contact with Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Libya. The Mossad chief claimed those countries expressed openness to accepting significant numbers of displaced Palestinians from Gaza. During the meeting, Barnea proposed that the United States offer incentives to encourage those nations and assist 'Israel' in advancing the plan. One of the sources said Witkoff did not commit to the idea, and it remains unclear whether the US will take an active role in the effort. In February, President Trump floated a proposal to remove Gaza's entire population, nearly two million people, and rebuild the enclave. However, the White House later abandoned the idea following strong opposition from Arab states. 'Israeli' officials said the Trump administration told them that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wished to pursue the plan, 'Israel' would need to find countries willing to receive displaced Palestinians.
