The Brit, who appeared on US reality series Prison Brides, met her husband Curtis back in 2021, through a prisoner pen pal service.
Emma became interested in Curtis' story, as he was serving seven years in prison for carjacking, which she thought was a lengthy sentence given that in the UK, the maximum jail term for this kind of crime is two years.
However, romance soon blossomed between the pair, and they began to regularly chat on the phone.
After eight months, Emma jetted off the US to finally meet her man, and set herself boundaries, such as to not send Curtis any money.
As their relationship continued to grow, Emma became increasingly proud of Curt, and decided to share their relationship on the Prison Brides' TV show.
"Curt could not read or write when he went to prison, and now he's got a Master's degree in business," she told the Tamron Hall show.
"I'm not proud of his situation, but I'm extremely proud of the man he's become."
Keen to make their relationship work, Emma moved across the Atlantic to be with Curt, and the couple even tied the knot behind bars.
After four long years of waiting, Curt was finally released from prison, and Emma was ecstatic to start their life together.
However, just weeks after being released, her husband cheated on her with another woman, whom he got pregnant.

Emma was bowled over by the betrayal and was even more shocked when her husband got sent straight back to prison again after just six months.
The dark-haired beauty, who got her beau's name tattooed on her hand said that she regrets a lot of her life decisions, and dated the person she thought she deserved.
However, she has not let the traumatic experience get to her, and has now relocated back to the UK to start a new life.
"I'm living life for me and it feels so good," she said in a recent TikTok video.

Heading up the escalator in the superstore, Devon grabbed a can of Lynx Africa body spray - known back home under the Axe branding. Next, the pair visited the fresh produce section where they picked up strawberries, whilst over in dairy, the wedge-shaped packing of Edam left Devon a little bewildered. After taking their shopping home to their accommodation, it was time for Devon to tuck in. "It tastes like curry," he declared, after biting into his sandwich. "It's a weird mixture, it's not bad - it's just different." The lad appeared to be more impressed with the Tango, however, gulping it down and exclaiming: "Oh yeah! It's got a lot of carbonation, but it's perfect flavour." He concluded with the Monster Munch, meanwhile, describing the famous corn snack as "10 out of 10". Writing in response, one TikTok user joked: "That kid was destined for a British secondary school! I mean, straight up picking lynx Africa off the shelves? Come on now!" A second person added: "He chose exceptionally well. Good job that man." A third suggested: "Now you can get an ice cream or Pot Noodle with your meal deal. You could own this special 50p coin which is believed to be the rarest of them all. It might be worth hundreds more than face value if you're able to find one in your pocket... Whether you're an avid collector of rare coins or not, certain designs are certainly special with some 50p pieces worth an absolute fortune. It's always good to check your stash as coins featuring errors or have low mintage are highly desirable among collectors. Now one expert unveiled the "rarest 50p coin" ever which is worth hundreds more than face value. So do you have the 2023 Atlantic Salmon 50p coin lurking in your pockets? TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts 254,100 followers on the platform, revealed all you need to know as he asked fans: "Do you know the rarest 50p?" He continued: "You can find this worth £80. About 160 times its face value is the 2023 Atlantic Salmon 50p coin." He revealed how the 50p coin features a portrait by Martin Jennings of His Majesty King Charlies III, but it has no privy mark which is the rarest standard circulating 50p ever issued. "Only the version dated 2023 and lacking the small crown privy mark found in annual sets is truly rare circulated pieces with this design entered everyday use and now command collector interest," he explained. "According to collectors and sale trackers, recent eBay transitions for this coin have fetched £70-£80, with some reports even reaching more depending on condition and demand." Speaking about the 2023 dated Atlantic Salmon coin, he claimed: "If yours does not have a Tutor Crown privy mark, it's worth £80, not the version sold in mint sets which is more common and typically worth less." The @CoinCollectingWizard also told us exclusively: "The Atlantic Salmon 50p coin has quickly become one of the most sought-after coins in UK circulation. "With a mintage of just 200,000, it's now officially rarer than the famous Kew Gardens 50p, which had a mintage of 210,000." Back on October 7, 2024, it was announced only 200,000 of the 2023 Salmon Atlantic 50p coins had entered circulation the previous year, less than half of the original estimated amount. According to Change Checker, this essentially means just one in 335 people in the UK could have the chance of bagging one of these special 50p coins. A recent poll also found 30% of people surveyed were lucky enough to find a 2023 Salmon 50p in their change. Meanwhile, at the beginning of each year, The Royal Mint issues an Annual Coin Set which usually includes five commemorative coins from the year ahead and a full set of definitive coins dated that year. But the Salmon Atlantic 50p coins issued as part of the 2024 and 2025 Annual Sets will not enter circulation or feature the privy mark on the obverse.
