Rafizi exposes 3 PMX's PolSecs who proactively undermine perceived PKR ‘rabble-rousers'
Having had enough with a myriad of 'labelling' ranging from a reject by party grassroots, sour grape by stepping down as economy minister and most recently, accused of revolting to destroy his party, former PKR president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli has taken to the social media to name his nemesis.
'The latest accusation comes from a person named Datuk Azman Abidin. You may wonder who is Azman Bidin,' penned the defiant Pandan MP on his Facebook page.
'He has great influence in PKR although many may not know him well. Therefore, I wish to introduce him today.'
According to Rafizi, Azman who is currently one of the three political secretaries (PolSec) to the Prime Minister (PM) has displayed a turncoat nature since the time of the late Selangor menteri besar (MB) Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
'His greatness lies in no matter what happens in PKR's internal politics, he must be drawing a fat salary in the government,' chided Rafizi who alongside former natural resources and environmental sustainability minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad have been moved to the Dewan Rakyat backbench following their cabinet exit.
'When the late TS Khalid became MB, he was TS Khalid's strongman and was appointed as an MB officer during which he desperately rejected Azmin (former Selangor MB).
'But when Azmin became MB, he suddenly turned to support Azmin following which he was made an officer for Azmin.
'When Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim became PM, he suddenly became the PM's political secretary although we didn't see him much during the national campaign for GE15 (15th General Election).'
Rafizi went on to reveal that Azman who is currently the PKR Federal Territories interim chairman is part of PMX's PolSec trio who also comprised Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin and Chan Ming Kai 'who spent their time campaigning to remove PKR leaders thought to be not in line with them'.
'People are busy administering the country while they're busy strategising behind the scenes which culminated in Nurul Izzah Anwar contesting the for the PKR deputy president post (which she eventually defeated Rafizi who was the incumbent),' he chided.
'I can't wait to see Datuk Azman Bidin campaigning nationwide to get 80 parliamentary seats in the GE16 later with guidance from Ramanan (newly elected PKR vice-president and former MIC treasurer Datuk Seri Ramanan Ramakrishnan). God willing, Azman Bidin will herald a new era for PKR.'
Apparently, many commenters to Rafizi's latest exposé tended to agree that PMX is surrounded by bootlickers and apple-polishers who could eventually be a liability to both his premiership and PKR if he continues to throw caution to the wind.

"The people are suffering. The people are tired," said Azmin. Meanwhile, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, 100, who was also present, took a jab at Anwar over the latter's refusal to act against him on the Pulau Batu Puteh issue on account of his age. He said that Anwar's remarks in the Dewan Rakyat on the matter essentially determined he was guilty. Mahathir said the government should have just taken him to court if it felt he was guilty instead of using his age as an excuse.

FIRST, it was former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli urging the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to open an investigation into Datuk Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak—the former political aide to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim—over allegations linked to a mineral exploration license in Sabah. Then later yesterday (July 25), news broke out that the high-flying corporate figure would be conferred a 'Datuk Seri' title today (July 26) in conjunction with the 84th birthday of Penang Governor Tun Ramli Ngah Talib. For the record, Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz heads the list of 1,530 recipients of state awards, honours, and medals, which also include Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, Penang Malay Association president Tan Sri Dr Yussoff Latiff, and national badminton legend Datuk Lee Chong Wei. Instead of being a recognition, the award spotlight on Farhash, the ex-PKR Perak chief, will likely fuel more public scrutiny, not to mention distrust of Anwar's much-shouted anti-corruption drive. Such is the message conveyed by Rafizi in a media statement, which called on Anwar to swiftly address the growing controversy surrounding Farhash, for failure to do so could undermine public trust in the government's reform agenda. 'The information revealed so far is sufficient for the MACC to open an investigation paper on Farhash, just as it has done for other figures accused of sudden wealth accumulation,' revealed the Pandan MP. Evidence of his meteoric rise: Farhash currently holds directorships in four other public-listed companies, namely MMAG Holdings Bhd, Apex Equity Holdings Bhd, Excel Force MSC Bhd, and Key Alliance Group Bhd. In April, Farhash became a substantial shareholder in Key Alliance with his purchase of 6.8 million shares in the open market. He owns a 5.546% interest now. On May 30, convenience store chain operator 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd announced that Farhash, who was appointed chairman on Jan 3, 2023, has resigned from his post to pursue other business interests. Farhash previously served as Anwar's political secretary and was also the Perak PKR chief. Local media recently reported that Sabah Mineral Management Sdn Bhd, the state's mineral licensing agency, had awarded Bumi Suria — a company linked to Farhash — an exploration license for coal mining. According to the report, the company was granted exclusive rights to explore and search for minerals across 70,000 hectares in the Kalabakan and Gunung Rara forest reserves near the Kalimantan border. Farhash has denied the report and is demanding a public apology. This is not the first time he has been linked to controversial business dealings. 'Terima kasih polis': Rallygoers show appreciation for cops [WATCH]
KUALA LUMPUR: Chants of "Terima kasih polis" rang out across the Central Market area this afternoon as participants gathered for the Pas-led rally. The large crowd included Bersatu Youth exco Na'im Brundage. Other politicians expected to arrive in Sogo before making their way to Dataran Merdeka include former PKR vice-president Tian Chua and political activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegu Bard. Some participants were also spotted holding banners which read "Mahasiswa Tertekan" (students under pressure), while others chanted, "Turun Pakatan Harapan" and "Turun Anwar". Police anticipate a turnout of between 10,000 and 15,000 people at today's rally. Participants are set to gather at Masjid Negara, Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru, and Kompleks Sogo — before converging at Dataran Merdeka. The rally aims to pressure the government over issues such as the rising cost of living and alleged institutional failures. Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said police would facilitate the assembly. A total of 16 roads will be closed for the rally, which is expected to end after 5.15pm. Police have advised the public to plan their journeys in advance and use public transport where possible to avoid congestion in the city centre.
