I'm a Celeb star lined up to replace Gregg Wallace on MasterChef
It's being reported that the restaurant critic and I'm A Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here star, Grace Dent, will be joining John Torode when the show returns.
Grace, 51, appeared on the hit cooking show as a contestant in a 2023 Christmas special and has served as a temporary judge while the BBC investigated alleged claims of historical misconduct made against Wallace.
The Sun is now reporting, however, that Grace is set to become a permanent fixture on the show.
'Grace is a natural fit for the show,' a source told The Sun. 'She is also hosting Celebrity MasterChef alongside John.'
'Grace loves to support up-and-coming talent in the industry and loves the format of the show.'
According to the Sun's source, the crew are hoping that when filming starts on the next season at the new studios in Birmingham that it will serve as a 'fresh start' for the series.
The decision comes after Wallace was fired from the beloved cooking show on July 8 following a nine-month sexual misconduct investigation.
Wallace initially stepped back from the show in November 2024 when 13 people accused him of making inappropriate sexual comments.
However, since then, 50 more people have come forward to complain about the presenter's behaviour.
It's been alleged that Wallace groped one colleague and, at one point, took his trousers down in front of another while not wearing any underwear.
Prior to the news of his firing breaking, Wallace took to Instagram, where he claimed the investigation cleared him of 'the most serious and sensational accusations' ahead of the report's official release.
In the post, he wrote 'I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others' and went on to say he was being discriminated against due to his autism.
He accused the BBC of failing 'to investigate my disability or protect me from what I now realise was a dangerous environment for over 20 years'.

After Gregg Wallace's firing from MasterChef there was clearly only one person who could save one of the BBC's longest-running series from going up in flames – Grace Dent.
Dent is refreshingly engaged with the future of culinary broadcasting, regularly popping up on various TikToks, helping to platform aspiring new foodies with a voice.
She rates Michelin star meals with the same esteem as a really bang-on fry-up at a local café, and she's got razor-sharp wit, which would be the perfect antidote for Wallace's wince-inducing jokes.
Wallace said he had decided to go public as the BBC News division was 'intending to platform legally unsafe accusations, including claims which have already been investigated and not upheld by the BBC and found not credible.' More Trending
Since then, it's been reported that the former greengrocer is preparing to take legal action against the BBC and Banijay UK – the production team behind MasterChef.
The inquiry into allegations against Wallace is being conducted by an independent law firm on Banijay, and its findings are expected this week.

Posting on social media on the family's official Instagram page, Sue beamed: '**EXCITING NEWS ** We are back for a new series of 22 Kids & Counting.' Sue then confirmed: '20th July 8pm Channel 5. 'We cannot wait to share what we've been up to.' The most recent series of the Radford show documented Katie's pregnancy journey and Millie's wedding, as well as Sue and Noel's hunt for a bigger house for their ever-growing family. But the upcoming series of 22 Kids & Counting is set to be back with an epic twist - as Noel explores more into finding his real mother, following his adoption at just ten days old in January 1971. The first episode of the new series is titled 'Finding Mum: 50 Years Apart' and will delve deeper into Noel's background. But Sue, who was also adopted as a baby, has revealed that the new series won't see her search for more detail about her past. AS Britain's biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills. Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money. The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel's bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home. On their website, it says: 'We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.' The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK. The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out. The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don't get a free ride as they're made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents. "Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it's not a lot but I'm also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.' their daughter Chloe said in a video on the YouTube channel. Sue added: "We've always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we'd rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer. Noel and Sue famously don't rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income. They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media. The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting - which has run for four series. Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show. He told the Daily Mail: "The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature. "If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee." He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode. Not only this, but numerous Radford fans eagerly raced to the comments to share their excitement at the show's return. One person said: 'Can't wait!' That's good news. The Radford Family's TV history THE first ever episode of 22 Kids and Counting aired on Channel 5 on 22nd February, 2021. After the first series - which had just four episodes in it - performed well, Channel 5 commissioned a 10-episode second season, which was broadcast in 2022. They went on to commission a third series, which included a Christmas special aired in December 2023. The fourth season began airing in January 2024, but fans were left disappointed when it stopped after six episodes. Sue and Noel reassured viewers that they were just taking a little break, and the next episode will be airing on 21st July. Anne Hathaway to play Taylor Swift-inspired popstar in new film
Anne Hathaway - best known for The Devils Wear Prada, The Princess Diaries and The Dark Knight Rises - will reportedly be part of a "lesbian power couple" with Michaela Coel in a new pop film Anne Hathaway 's next role has been decided with the Hollywood A-lister playing a Lady Gaga - Taylor Swift style popstar who has a hidden dark side. The new film, Mother Mary, will see her star alongside Michaela Coel, with the pair reportedly playing a " lesbian power couple". Coel, best known for playing Arabella Essiedu in BBC's I May Destroy You (2020), fills the shoes of a fashion designer and a long-time friend of Hathaway's character who played an instrumental role in her public persona. An authentic story told partially through music, with a soundtrack boasting the likes of Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff, as well as plenty of singing and dancing. All directed by David Lowery who has credits including A Ghost Story (2017), The Green Knight (2021) and Pete's Dragon (2016). Opening up on the role — and the complex choreography required for it — in an interview with Vogue, Hathaway remarked: "I had to submit to being a beginner. The humility of that, showing up every day knowing you're going to suck, and it has to be okay. "You're not 'bad, you're just a beginner. Getting to that mindset — I had to shed some things that were hard to shed. It was welcome. But it was hard, the way transformational experiences can be hard." "My body was so locked up, I literally couldn't take a deep breath. I'd been trying to open that space for years and I thought it was physically impossible. All my breath, it was stuck." While Coel has revealed how she got herself immersed in the role, frequenting techno clubs in Cologne, Germany during filming — and even invited Hathaway along with her. She also described the writing as "vivid" and explained how the cast were "forced into an intensity" over the course of filming. Such intensity was evident in one scene in particular, Lowery explained: "It felt like shooting Apocalypse Now. At one point Annie [Hathaway] broke down and said, 'I have to apologise, because I think what's going to come out of me will hurt you,' and Michaela [Coel] took her hands and said, 'I love you, I trust you.'" Mother Mary is said to be an "epic pop melodrama following a fictional musician and her relationship with an iconic fashion designer", according to Deadline. While other reports claim both Hathaway and Coel will play a "lesbian power couple battling fame". Hathaway and Coel will be joined by Jessica Brown Findlay, Sian Clifford, Alba Baptista, FKA twigs, Kaia Gerber and Hunter Schafer in supporting roles. A release date is yet to be confirmed, though it is expected to land sometime in 2026.
