The American trio, comprising Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman, once again proved why they remain the undisputed kings of R&B, even decades after their 1990s heyday.
Organised by Shiraz Projects, the Boyz II Men Live in Kuala Lumpur concert attracted over 5,000 fans, including a special appearance by the Sultanah of Terengganu, Sultanah Nur Zahirah.

Opening with fan favourites like "Can't Let Her Go", "Don't Stop", "Water Runs Dry", "Cupid", and "Can You Stand the Rain", the group instantly transported the audience back to the golden age of 1990s R&B.
The crowd erupted during emotional renditions of "On Bended Knee" and "Hey Lover", the latter featuring an energetic and extended outro.
Other highlights of the night included stirring performances of "Please Don't Go", "Four Seasons of Loneliness", "Locked Out of Heaven", "Come Together", and "Purple Rain", along with an emotional tribute to music icons Prince, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston.
One of the most anticipated moments came when the group performed their iconic duet with Mariah Carey, "One Sweet Day", drawing the crowd into a unified sway across the venue.
The concert concluded with a romantic flourish as Boyz II Men performed "I'll Make Love to You", handing out roses to the crowd.
They followed it with their timeless anthem "End of the Road", bringing the night to a heartfelt close.
But just as fans thought it was over, the trio returned for a surprise encore of "Motownphilly", transforming the concert into a high-energy celebration.
After the concert, satisfied concertgoers flooded social media with praise, hailing it as a nostalgic R&B dream come true.
The setlist, stage presence, and emotional resonance made it a night to remember for fans both old and new.
Currently on their "Legacy of Love" world tour, Boyz II Men had already performed in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines before their Kuala Lumpur stop.
Following this concert, the band continued their tour to Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.

AI videos push Combs trial misinformation, researchers say
The videos typically feature AI-generated thumbnails showing celebrities on the witness stand alongside images of Combs, often paired with fabricated quotes. — Reuters WASHINGTON: Around two dozen YouTube channels are pumping out AI-generated videos with false claims about music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs's sex trafficking trial, racking up millions of views and profiting from misinformation, researchers say. The flood of false content threatens to distort public perception of the musician's seven-week New York trial, where jurors were deliberating Tuesday to ascertain whether he acted as the ringleader of a criminal organisation that facilitated coercive sex marathons with escorts. The sensational AI-driven channels have amassed nearly 70 million views from roughly 900 videos about Combs over the past year, according to data compiled by Indicator, a US publication investigating digital deception. The videos typically feature AI-generated thumbnails showing celebrities on the witness stand alongside images of Combs, often paired with fabricated quotes. One channel called Pak Gov Update uploaded a nearly 30-minute-long video titled Jay-Z Breaks His Silence on Diddy Controversy , which features a thumbnail of the American rapper. The thumbnail shows Jay-Z breaking down in tears and holding up a CD above a fabricated quote: "I WILL BE DEAD SOON." Pak Gov Update has uploaded similar videos with fake testimonies attributed to other celebrities such as the American comedian Kevin Hart and singer-songwriter Usher. It began posting content about the closely watched trial in recent weeks. The channel previously posted Urdu content about Pakistan. "Pak Gov Update is one of 26 YouTube channels identified by Indicator that have used a mix of false claims and AI slop to cash in on the Diddy trial," said Craig Silverman, co-founder of Indicator. YouTube has "terminated several channels" among those highlighted by Indicator for "violating our terms of service and policies covering spam," the site's spokesman Jack Malon told AFP in a statement. AI slop refers to often low-quality visual content – generated using cheap and widely available artificial intelligence tools – that increasingly appears to be flooding social media sites, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Many content creators on YouTube and TikTok offer paid courses on how to monetise viral AI slop on tech platforms, many of which have reduced their reliance on human fact-checkers and scaled back content moderation. Combs, 55, faces life in prison if convicted on five federal charges that include racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for purposes of prostitution. Conspiracy theories and falsehoods surrounding his trial have flooded social media sites in recent weeks, threatening to shroud the facts and undermine real witnesses, experts say. A song titled I Lost Myself at a Diddy Party and falsely attributed to Justin Bieber recently garnered millions of views across social media platforms, sparking a wave of conspiracy theories about the relationship between the two celebrities. An audio clip of the song, which features lyrics about Bieber losing his innocence after attending a Combs party, was likely created using an AI tool, according to the disinformation watchdog NewsGuard. Also gaining traction online was a manipulated image of Combs and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein sitting next to US President Donald Trump on a couch with young women. – AFP

Sean 'Diddy' Combs jury asks to review Casandra Ventura's testimony
FILE PHOTO: Sean "Diddy" Combs stands as he is arraigned on a superseding indictment ahead of his May trial on sex trafficking charges, in New York, U.S., March 14, 2025, in this courtroom sketch. REUTERS/Jane Rosenberg/File Photo NEW YORK (Reuters) -The jury deliberating in Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking trial asked on Tuesday to review portions of the testimony of Casandra Ventura, the hip-hop mogul's former girlfriend who accuses him of abusing her during their decade-long relationship. During the second day of its deliberations, the jury asked to review Ventura's testimony regarding a 2016 incident at an InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles, when a surveillance camera captured footage of Combs kicking and dragging Ventura, a rhythm and blues singer known professionally as Cassie, in a hallway. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. His lawyers acknowledge he was at times abusive in domestic relationships, but argue he never subjected Ventura to any unwanted sex act. Jurors saw the security camera footage several times throughout the trial. Prosecutors say that at the time of the incident, Ventura was attempting to leave a "Freak Off," Combs' term for a drug-fueled sex marathon in which he would watch Ventura have sex with a paid male escort while he masturbated and sometimes filmed. Prosecutors say that conduct amounted to sex trafficking because Combs used force and threats to cut off financial support or release sex tapes of Ventura to coerce her to take part in the performances, and because the escorts were paid. Combs' defense pointed to tender and sexually explicit text messages that Ventura sent Combs throughout their relationship to bolster their argument that she took part in the "Freak Offs" because she loved Combs and wanted to make him happy. They say the violent 2016 altercation stemmed from a dispute about Combs' relationship with another woman. Combs, a former billionaire known for elevating hip-hop in American culture, apologized last year after CNN aired footage of the InterContinental attack. He could face life in prison if convicted on all counts. (Reporting by Jack Queen and Luc Cohen in New York, Editing by Nick Zieminski)
