Super Junior announces Hong Kong and Macau stops on their 20th anniversary tour
ELFs, here's something to look forward to! Super Junior is celebrating their 20th anniversary (!!) this year, and they're bringing their world tour 'Super Show 10' to both Hong Kong and Macau.
After starting things off in Seoul towards the end of August, the second-generation K-pop group moves straight onto Hong Kong, before making their way through Indonesia, the Philippines, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Macau, and Malaysia. South Korean music acts don't usually perform in that many Latin American countries so this schedule will be much appreciated by Latinx fans.
Super Junior will also release their 12th studio album Super Junior 25 on July 12, which is their first album in about three years. This gives fans plenty of time to get familiarised with their new songs, as the nine active members will take the stage at AsiaWorld-Arena on September 5 and 6, and then at Galaxy Arena in Macau early next year on January 10 and 11, 2026.
No ticketing details have been announced yet, so keep an eye on this space.

Lee Jung-jae reveals moment he knew Squid Game would ‘define his career'
Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae is now one of the most recognisable people on the planet. Before the dystopian Netflix series launched in 2021, he'd starred in An Affair in a breakthrough role, the 90s South Korean TV drama Sandglass, and films including Deliver Us From Evil and The Face Reader. Then, when he was cast as Seong Gi-hun, aka Player 456, in Squid Game, his career reached stratospheric new heights. The actor knew – he told Metro – that the character had the potential to be a 'career-defining role' for him. And he was right. The third and final season of the survival drama is now out on the streaming platform, bringing Gi-hun's story to a close in six gripping episodes that have left fans in floods of tears. When Gi-hun's journey began, he was a man facing financial ruin, separated from the mother of his child and trying to earn a buck by gambling. At a desperate moment, he's approached by the Recruiter (Gong Yoo) and invited to join the game… the deadly game that he'll eventually win, with a cash prize of 45.6 billion South Korean won (£24.4million). Even though creator Hwang Dong-hyuk had originally conceived of Squid Game as a one-season show, the final episode was left on a cliffhanger, with Gi-hun vowing for revenge against the person in charge of the game, the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), a mission that fuelled his purpose in seasons two and three. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'Player 456, Gi-hun was put on an emotional rollercoaster in season one,' Jung-jae told us while we were sitting opposite him in a hotel in London, a day after the red carpet premiere. 'When I was reading the scripts for seasons two and three, I knew that he would be put on another rollercoaster, and even more so. So I thought, wow, if I just play this character very well, it's going to be a very amazing, career-defining role for me.' One can only imagine what it was like when the actor finally discovered what would happen to Gi-hun by the end of the show. And if you haven't watched it already, trust us… the ending is truly mind-blowing. 'When I read the very last page of the script for season three, it just exceeded all the expectations that I had,' the 52-year-old said. 'It really took me by surprise, and I remember having a lot of conversations with director Hwang about the finale.' The day before our sit-down interview, Metro also attended the premiere at London's Barbican Centre, where we asked Jung-jae how he hopes fans of Squid Game would feel by the time they reach the final episode of the series. 'I hope that after viewers watched the last episode, they will have been left with a sense of hope,' he said. More Trending 'It is not violence that we want to talk about, but it is really throwing the question, 'How do we as human beings want to live among ourselves and in harmony?' So I hope we can all try to find our own answers to that question.' Yes, Squid Game is an extremely violent show, one of the most graphically violent on TV without question. But it's true what the actor said – the main theme of the series isn't about physical acts of brutality, but questions of morality. Even if it spawned copycat shows that focus on the competition element of the programme, one would hope that people would reach the end of Squid Game feeling a greater sense of empathy for others and that key word – hope. Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix. Got a story? Glastonbury's mystery act Patchwork - likeliest stars performing under fake name
Fans attending Glastonbury Festival have been speculating who could be performing on Saturday evening as an unknown band called Patchwork are expected to take to the stage Glastonbury festivalgoers will be entertained by a mystery act on Saturday night as a band that had never been known of before have been given a plum slot. A band called Patchwork are due to take to the main stage on Saturday night at 6:15pm. However, music fans have been left scratching their heads over who the act could be. The slot has been granted to the band with John Fogerty and Raye performing the slots on either side of the set. With prolific artist performing around the mystery act, most fans are convinced it is a fake name for an established act. Glastonbury has a track record of hiding big name performers behind fake band titles. In 2023, Foo Fighters performed on the Pyramid Stage - taking fans by surprise because they were billed as a band called The Churnups. So far at the 2025 festival, Lorde and Lewis Capaldi have both taken to the stage while not previously being advertised. Now speculation is rife as to who will take over the slot at 6:15pm - with a number of big name acts linked to the performance slot. Pulp Legendary Brit-pop band Pulp are the hot favourites to be the performers taking to the stage. The band is fronted by Jarvis Cocker and major singles include Common People and Disco 2000. Equipment belonging to the band has been spotted at the Glastonbury grounds, leading to the expectation they will perform to the crowds. A source told The Mirror: "I spotted the sound engineer box with Pulp's name on as they were setting up during the Kaiser Chiefs set." While social media account SecretGlasto, which has built up a reputation for confirming secret Worthy Farm acts for the past ten years, has previously declared that Pulp are the secret performers. Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson Former One Direction star Harry Styles was spotted enjoying the sunshine and music at Glastonbury Festival on Friday afternoon - sparking hopes he might perform while he is at Worthy Farm. The star was spied at the festival alongside bandmate Louis Tomlinson - who is also attending with his new girlfriend Zara McDermott. While some fans might hope both or one of the singers will entertain the crowds, it appears Louis is there purely to enjoy himself. A source told The Mirror: "Louis is determined to make it a weekend to remember and has planned everything with military like precision - including making sure enough booze is available. He has his own tent - and one just for the drinks. "Everyone is saying it's a nice break for him and Zara but it's a great way also for Zara to meet his mates. It will definitely be a boozy one and not a particularly romantic one." Chappell Roan American pop princess Chappell Roan fuelled speculation she could be attending Glastonbury under the name Patchwork after she made a telling comment to BBC Radio. After the 2025 lineup was revealed, some fans questioned if the act could refer to the star - who wore a pink patchwork suit to the Met Gala. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself posing with a large patchwork throw that she had made out of different coloured material. The singer, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, shared the image which was part of a collection of photos that she captioned: "Insane vibe." Robbie Williams Former Take That star Robbie Williams seemed happy to tease that he would be appearing at the festival at some point over the weekend. On Friday he shared a social media post with the simple caption: "30 years later..." This appeared to be in reference to his appearance at the festival back in 1995. It was while there that Rob was snapped partying with Oasis's Liam and Noel Gallagher. This changed perceptions of the star among pop music fans and some of the squeaky clean boy band glow began to wear off him. He quit Take That soon after and went on to launch his successful solo career.
