Creed Rises Higher Than Ever With Both Albums And Singles — In The Year 2025
This week, Creed sees both albums and songs reach new heights on multiple rankings. There hasn't been any major promotional push, nor is there any real reason for the group's work to be soaring – the music is just still, somehow, reaching a large audience to this day.
The aptly-titled Greatest Hits has been one of Creed's most consistent performers for years now. The compilation appears on five Billboard rankings this frame, and more impressively, it hits a new high on three of them at the same time.
The project lifts one space to No. 9 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, edging further into the uppermost tier. The set also climbs on the Top Rock Albums list, stepping up three rungs to No. 13. Over on the more wide-reaching Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, Greatest Hits ascends to No. 16. The compilation has never risen to high on all three tallies.
Not only is Creed's Greatest Hits climbing this frame, it's also celebrating a special milestone on one of the rankings it appears on. The collection has now spent 52 weeks — exactly one year — on the Top Alternative Albums chart.
It's also closing in on a similar milestone on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums list. This week marks its fiftieth frame on that ranking, and if it continues to perform well – which seems all but certain – it will likely celebrate a full year on the tally in just two more turns.
Creed's chart wins this week aren't limited to its full-lengths. One of the band's most beloved singles, 'One Last Breath,' is also enjoying continued success. The track appears on six Billboard charts this week, and it hits new highs on two of them.
The rock anthem improves from No. 10 to No. 9 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. It also climbs from No. 13 to No. 11 on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, coming close to breaking into the top 10 there for the first time. Both of those placements mark loftiest positions the song has ever seen on those rankings.
'One Last Breath' manages to score a spot inside the top 10 on two rosters in America as well. It slips slightly on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs list, moving down just one rung to No. 2. On the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, the tune rises to No. 4, just one position shy of its all-time best showing at No. 3.
Elsewhere, the song performs well enough to continue charting on both the Alternative Streaming Songs and Rock Streaming Songs rankings. It lands at No. 19 on the former and settles at No. 22 on the latter.
