Antonio Brown, one of the most popular and talented players in the history of the NFL, has found himself in a huge scandal after he was accused of shooting a man in Miami last month. While the case brings new twists every day, with Antonio Brown even fleeing to the United Arab Emirates, this is not the first time that the NFL legend has been accused of violence.
Antonio Brown was ordered to go through anger management and a psychiatric evaluation for getting violently involved with a company in 2020
In 2020, Antonio Brown pleaded no contest to battery and burglary charges when he got involved in a huge altercation and violence with a moving company.
In January 2020, days after the moving company filed a complaint against him, Antonio Brown turned himself in at a jail in Florida after a warrant was issued against him. At that point, the NFL legend was released from jail on $110,000 bond.
After Antonio Brown had pleaded no contest to the allegations, the Broward County Court accepted his plea and ordered him to undergo an anger management program for 13 weeks and a psychiatric evaluation, along with 100 hours of community service and two years of probation.
As per the NFL, Antonio Brown's attorney, Carson Hancock had issued a statement where he said, "Rather than engage in a protracted legal case, Mr. Brown decided to resolve this matter in an expeditious manner in consideration of his family and his football career."
This had also led to the NFL conducting an investigation into this and resulted in suspending Antonio Brown for eight games after it was found that he violated several of NFL's personal conduct policies.

Rape isn't the first shock: Assaults, ragging and neta interference plagued Kolkata's law college for years; all you need to know
KOLKATA: The rape of a student of a college in the heart of south Kolkata near a main thoroughfare is the culmination of violence, political interference and illegal activities at the institute in the past few years. The 50-year-old college on Swinhoe Street, off Gariahat, relocated to a new G+6 storey building in 2019. Sources said there were multiple incidents on both campuses. In 2017, the principal's room was vandalised in a fracas between two TMCP groups over funds for the freshers' welcome programme. This prompted the then education minister Partha Chatterjee to scrap the TMCP unit at the college. A cop complaint was registered at Gariahat PS. Manojit Mishra, the prime accused in the rape case, was then the TMCP unit president and was arrested along with two other students. They were later released. During that time, another fourth-year female student registered a harassment and ragging plaint against Mishra and indicated that he was so influential that no one dared to take action against him. Current students said though the union was officially dissolved in 2017, some students continued to wield influence and claimed to be TMCP members. Teacher-in-charge Nayna Chatterjee said ex-students and outsiders had free access to the college. "The official hours are from 9 am to 4 pm and we try to shut the gates thereafter. But some students refuse to leave the campus. I have reported this to higher officials several times," she said. Ex-students alleged large-scale political interference, with local netas often attending programmes on campus under the party banner. An ex-student said, "We used to have regular classes till noon. Thereafter, most students would go for practice under seniors or attend internship programmes. The college authority has failed to stop these hooligans as these people have been active for many years." Justice Department abruptly fires 3 prosecutors involved in Jan. 6 criminal cases: Sources
The Justice Department on Friday fired at least three prosecutors involved in U.S. Capitol riot criminal cases, the latest moves by the Trump administration targeting attorneys connected to the massive prosecution of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, according to two people familiar with the matter. Those dismissed include two attorneys who worked as supervisors overseeing the Jan. 6 prosecutions in the U.S. attorney's office in Washington as well as a line attorney who prosecuted cases stemming from the Capitol attack, the people said. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters. A letter that was received by one of the prosecutors was signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi. The letter did not provide a reason for their removal, effective immediately, citing only "Article II of the United States Constitution and the laws of the United States," according to a copy seen by The Associated Press. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play War Thunder now for free War Thunder Play Now Undo A Justice Department spokesperson declined to comment Friday evening. The terminations marked yet another escalation of norm-shattering moves that have raised alarm over the Trump administration's disregard for civil service protections for career lawyers and the erosion of the Justice Department's independence from the White House. Top leaders at the Justice Department have also fired employees who worked on the prosecutions against Trump and demoted a slew of career supervisors in what has been seen as an effort to purge the agency of lawyers seen as insufficiently loyal. Live Events Trump's sweeping pardons of the Jan. 6 rioters have led to worries about actions being taken against attorneys involved in the massive prosecution of the more than 1,500 Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol as lawmakers met to certify President Joe Biden's election victory. Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of all of them on his first day back in the White House, releasing from prison people convicted of seditious conspiracy and violent assaults on police. During his time as interim U.S. attorney in Washington, Ed Martin in February demoted several prosecutors involved in the Jan. 6 cases, including the attorney who served as chief of the Capitol Siege Section. Others demoted include two lawyers who helped secure seditious conspiracy convictions against Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and former Proud Boys national chairman Enrique Tarrio. In January, then-acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered the firings of about two dozen prosecutors who had been hired for temporary assignments to support the Jan. 6 cases, but were moved into permanent roles after Trump's presidential win in November. Bove said he would not "tolerate subversive personnel actions by the previous administration."

'Disappointed with the decision': Justin Tucker's agent slams NFL suspension, says league ignored integrity and career legacy
Justin Tucker's agent criticizes the NFL ruling but signals acceptance (Image via AP0 Veteran kicker Justin Tucker, once considered one of the most reliable players in NFL history, has been handed a 10-game suspension following a lengthy investigation into allegations of misconduct involving massage therapists. The suspension, announced Thursday, marks a stunning turn in the career of the seven-time Pro Bowler, who currently remains a free agent. Justin Tucker's agent criticizes the NFL ruling but signals acceptance The allegations, first reported by the Baltimore Banner in January, stem from 16 different massage therapists who accused Justin Tucker of inappropriate behavior dating back to his rookie season in 2012. While no criminal charges were ever filed and Maryland's statute of limitations has since lapsed for civil suits, the NFL concluded that Tucker violated its personal conduct policy. He will now be sidelined without pay starting August 26 and cannot return until mid-November. Tucker's agent, Rob Roche, issued a firm yet conciliatory statement following the decision, expressing disappointment with the league's ruling but noting that the kicker will not contest the suspension. 'We are disappointed with the NFL's decision. Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud,' Roche said via ESPN's Adam Schefter. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Girl gives seat to old man, passengers' faces turn pale when he gives it in return. Despite his decision not to appeal, Tucker has consistently denied the allegations. Roche reinforced his client's commitment to personal growth and family life, emphasizing: 'The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband and friend.' Tucker's on-field reputation was once impeccable—he owns the highest field goal accuracy rate in NFL history and has won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens. However, his career hit a sharp decline in 2024, when he converted just 73% of his kicks. Baltimore released him in May, and drafted Tyler Loop as his replacement.
