Teens arrested over wild shop brawl
Police were called to a shopping centre in Helensvale, in the northern Gold Coast, just before 3:00pm on Thursday.
Early reports from police indicate that one of the teenagers allegedly assaulted a man in his 60s, after which a brawl allegedly broke out between several other teenagers.
The man was injured in the attack and assisted by paramedics at the scene. He has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said security personnel and an officer were also allegedly assaulted during the incident with the teens.
Footage obtained by 9 News Queensland captures the moment several are handcuffed and taken into custody.
They are assisting police with their inquiries.

Woman arrested after dog seized and bag of suspected heroin found in possession
A WOMAN was arrested for possession with intent to supply heroin, after police seized her dog in Maryport whilst out on patrol during Antisocial Behaviour Week. On Monday, June 30 as part of Antisocial Behaviour Week, officers were out on patrol in Maryport with Home Group Housing. Police said 'it didn't take long' before they received a report about someone keeping a dog in breach of a court order that bans her, for life, from having animals. Unfortunately for the owner, officers also found a not-so-fetching surprise — a bag of suspected heroin tucked away nearby. "One suspect is now helping us with two investigations: Breaching a court order Possession with intent to supply heroin One good dog is off to be rehomed with a loving new family. "One not-so-good owner could be off to be rehomed at His Majesty's pleasure."

More than 20 injured in blast at Rome petrol station
More than 20 people, including nine police officers and a firefighter, have been injured in a huge explosion at a petrol station in an eastern district of Rome. Website Roma Today published a photograph of a huge ball of flame and smoke rising high into the sky. Separate images released by the fire department showed the petrol station almost completely gutted. Apart from the first responders, 16 civilians including the manager of the station were injured in the blast on Friday, the head of Rome's police, Roberto Massucci, was quoted by Italian news agencies as saying. He said no one was in a life-threatening condition. Health authorities said five people were hospitalised with minor burns and injuries from shattered glass. The large blast at the distributor of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas in the Prenestino neighbourhood was heard across the Italian capital just after 8am. "I pray for the people involved in the explosion of a gas station (...) in the heart of my Diocese. I continue to follow the developments of this tragic incident with concern," Pope Leo XIV wrote on X. Firefighters and ambulance workers were caught up in the blast as they had been called to the scene earlier after a truck hit a pipeline at the fuel distributor, local reports said. A sports centre, which hosts a youth summer camp and sits opposite the station, was evacuated before the blast, a representative of the centre said in a Facebook video. The fire spread to a nearby depot, and the shock wave from the explosion damaged nearby buildings. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was following the situation, her office said in a statement.
