Former NFL receiver says Shedeur Sanders already low on Browns' QB depth chart

It looks like Shedeur Sanders is finding himself in some struggles in the Browns' quarterback room. Sanders, 23, is falling behind in the Browns' offseason four-way QB battle, according to TJ Houshmandzadeh, with veteran Joe Flacco also reportedly heading toward the bottom of the pack. Houshmandzadeh —who was an NFL wide receiver for 11 seasons including eight with the Bengals —said he believes the race has narrowed down to Dillon Gabriel or Kenny Pickett, despite their being earlier reports saying that Sanders and Flacco were performing well in minicamp. 3 Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (12) listens to a play call during mini camp at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect 'I was told from somebody that is in the building that ain't a player, it's really coming down to Kenny Pickett or Dillon Gabriel,' Houshmandzadeh said on the Nightcap podcast Friday. 'That's what I was told. But now when you get the reports that Shedeur's completing seven out of nine passes — is it against starters? 'Or is it against the threes and the fours, the guys that are going to get released? So it seems impressive when you see the graphic, but is it really if it's not against the starters or guys that are going to be on the team?' 3 T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson during the Giants game against the Bengals. Joseph E. Amaturo Houshmandzadeh agreed with Browns wideout Diontae Johnson recently stating that Pickett would start come Week 1. Johnson, 28, is the only Browns player to come out and comment of the quarterback battle. Houshmandadeh's claim comes just days after Sanders was nabbed with a speeding ticket in suburban Cleveland for allegedly driving over 100 mph, according to records viewed by The Post. Sanders was stopped by the Strongsville Police Department on June 17 as the rookie was allegedly driving at 101 mph, which was 41 mph over the speed limit of the road. 3 Browns quarterback Joe Flacco (right) talks to Shedeur Sanders during Browns minicamp at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus. 'I'm like, you were 100 percent going that fast, it's all on camera, man,' an officer could be heard telling another as he sat in the police cruiser. Sanders' brother, Shilo, poked fun at the incident, joking about his older brother during one of his YouTube videos. 'We out here in Tampa. We gotta be careful crossing the street, especially if Shedeur is out here,' Shilo said in the clip before making himself laugh.

Lynx offer key Napheesa Collier injury update

The post Lynx offer key Napheesa Collier injury update appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Minnesota Lynx are one of the dominant teams in the WNBA with an 11-1 record. A significant factor in their success is Napheesa Collier's play, though she's out with a back injury sustained on Tuesday. Advertisement With the Commissioner's Cup game against the Indiana Fever on July 1, the Lynx provided a crucial status report on Collier, per Andrew Dukowitz of Zone Coverage. Lynx associate head coach Eric Thibault saw progress from Collier after Thursday's practice. He also mentioned head coach Cheryl Reeve said this is familiar territory for Collier. 'She was feeling decent today,' he said. 'I think Cheryl had said it's something she's dealt with before so just trying to get her feeling good, we know it's a long year.' Collier injured her back against the Las Vegas Aces. Ultimately, she had to leave the game early. Advertisement However, the Lynx won the game 76-62 and solidified their spot in the Commissioner's Cup against the Fever. Before her injury, Collier was averaging 24.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Unfortunately, this isn't Collier's first battle with an injury this year. In late May, Collier injured her knee, forcing her to sit out a game against the Phoenix Mercury. Last July, Collier was hobbled with a foot injury during a July 4th game against the Connecticut Sun. She was forced to miss games but managed to come back in time to win an Olympic Gold Medal with Team USA in Paris. Furthermore, Collier was runner-up for league MVP. Advertisement When healthy, Collier is at her best. The Lynx need Napheesa Collier For all their talent, the Lynx's best player is, without question, Collier. She is an all-around talent who could play effectively on both sides of the ball. On offense, Collier is a consistent scorer. She is currently the leading scorer in the WNBA. On defense, she is one of the top defenders in the league. Last year, Collier was named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. She currently has a defensive rating of 95.0 and is once again a contender for Defensive Player of the Year. In addition, Collier is the team leader, and they thrive off of her presence on the floor. How to watch Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. live stream

After participating in reportedly the most-streamed sporting event of all time, Jake Paul returns to the boxing ring to face another former world champion, hoping to take down the YouTube star. We have all the information you need on how to watch Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. live streams. As the two cruiserweights face off at the Honda Center in Anaheim, it's a fight that could make or break Paul's boxing career.
