Charli xcx Burns ‘Brat' at Packed Glastonbury Set: 'I Don't Know Who I Am If It's Over'
Many of the festival fans were supporting Young and The Chrome Hearts on the Pyramid stage late in the evening, but as the performances clashed, an even bigger proportion wanted to witness the culture-defining Brat set.

Charli started her set with a burning Brat sign towering over her shoulder, before thrilling with album favorites like '365' and 'Von dutch.' She continued delighting the thousands of fans watching on with some of her old school hits including 'party 4 u' and 'I Love It.'
'I know I'm meant to have a heart of stone,' the English star said from the Other stage, 'but this is very fucking emotional right now… Thank you so much, you're fucking cool as fuck. But not as cool as me, bitch!'
Among some of the highlights from the set included Gracie Abrams — on Worthy Farm this weekend as a performer, also — being selected as Charli's 'Apple' girl. The Brit said: 'I love you so much, Gracie,' as the U.S. singer blew kisses at the camera.
At the end of the raucous performance, where Charli sipped white wine and splashed around in on-stage rain, signage on either side of the stage thanked fans for their ongoing support. 'I think you've all proven to me that brat is forever,' one of them read, 'I don't know who I am if it's over.'
Some were questioning the decision to put Charli on the Other stage while headliner Young, who drew a notably smaller crowd, was on the Pyramid slot.
Other take-aways from this weekend's Glastonbury Festival, the U.K.'s crowning jewel of music festivals in Somerset, England, include The 1975's headline set — where Charli's partner and band drummer George Daniel graced the stage — as well as Lorde's surprise performance on the Woodsies stage Friday morning.
The festival runs from Jun. 25-29.

ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus Working on an AI-Assisted Musical
Having already found success with holograms, ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus has revealed that he's writing a musical with help from another cutting-edge (and controversial) technology, AI. 'It is such a great tool,' Ulvaeus said at The Future of Entertainment panel Wednesday at SXSW London. 'It's unimaginable that you can bounce back and forth with a machine, or a software, which can give you ideas to go in various different directions.' 'A misconception is that AI can write a whole song. It's lousy at that — very bad. And thank God! It's very bad at lyrics as well. But it can give you ideas,' Ulvaeus said (via The Hollywood Reporter). 'You have written a lyric about something, and you're stuck maybe, and you want this song to be in a certain style. So you can prompt the lyric and the style you want, asking, 'Where would you go from here?' And it usually comes up with garbage, but sometimes there is something in it that gives you another idea. That's how it works.' Ulvaeus embrace of AI comes at a time when many of his musical peers are voicing their concern about the technology: In May, over 400 artists — including Elton John, Dua Lipa, Kate Bush, and Paul McCartney — signed a letter calling on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to update U.K. copyright laws in the face of AI. This past December, artists, publishers, media companies and more banded together to form the Creative Rights in AI Coalition, which aims to keep the current copyright protections in place despite the U.K.'s continued courtship of AI technology. Did Dylan Mulvaney & Joe Locke really just hard launch? Their cozy IG post leaves fans divided
Sometimes, fans celebrate queer love with open arms and wholeheartedly embrace new relationships without hesitation. Other times, it leaves us scratching our heads. Over the weekend, trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney and actor Joe Locke left fans in the latter category after posting a series of photos together on their Instagram feeds and stories. On the main feed, the photos that got everyone talking were of the two sitting together, Mulvaney's arm around Locke, looking very snuggly and giving major 'you can't sit with us vibes.' The second photo showed the two playfully sticking out their tongues outside Camp Koko. Sporting Ray-Bans, the two were evidently there as part of Ray-Ban's exclusive lunch at Camp Koko, where they were part of a number of celebrities in attendance. However, the caption stating, 'First couples shoot thank you for having us at camp koko,' had everyone thinking Mulvaney and Locke used the event to announce their relationship. After that, Locke posted on his Instagram story—each of them wearing completely different outfits—of him and Mulvaney sporting 'New home vibes' in a tent, as they attended the Glastonbury Festival. Another couldn't believe this was how they found out, emphatically wishing the two congratulations. Others, however, were not so supportive. 'Why is it giving mom & her gay son?' someone asked. Many comments, which we will not share, bring up the idea of sexuality, saying that Mulvaney should be a lesbian and this relationship means Locke can no longer identify as a gay man. The latter issue, at least, has some defense to it, with one user reminding people that, 'Gay boys can be w trans women. Love is love, people. Love is love.' The flood and comments—good and bad—have resulted in new comments on the posts being limited. PRIDE has reached out for comment but didn't hear back at the time of publication.
