Norman Reedus eyes his own John Wick spin-off following Ballerina
The 56-year-old actor stars in the upcoming action offshoot 'Ballerina' as Daniel Pine, and has now said he would happily revisit the character to explore his mysterious past in his own film.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Reedus said: 'I think his origin story would be awesome.
'How he got to who he is and what made him, what turned him? What made him have this sort of moral compass all of a sudden? And all the things that he went through to get there.'
'The Walking Dead' star added a Daniel Pine spin-off wasn't completely out of the question.
He said: 'I mean, the door's wide open for that sort of story.'
'Ballerina' follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) as she seeks revenge against those who killed her family.
Trained from childhood in the arts of the Ruska Roma, her mission plunges her into a brutal underworld of killers, codes, and consequences.
As well as Reedus and de Armas, 'Ballerina' will see the return of Keanu Reeves' John Wick and Ian McShane's New York Continental head Winston.
While the 'Lovejoy' star is happy to be reprising Winston for 'Ballerina', McShane admitted he was 'furious' his fight scene with de Armas' Eve Macarro was left on the cutting room floor.
The 82-year-old actor told Collider in a joint interview with de Armas: 'We have a long scene together where she comes to visit me at the Continental and tries to fight …
'We don't talk about that. I'm furious. They cut one of my fight scenes.'
Despite his disappointment over the missing action sequence, McShane added there was still 'a fight scene with dialogue' between Winston and Eve.
He continued: 'My scenes are dialogue fight scenes. We have a scene where you [de Armas] try to get information from me, and that's like getting blood out of a stone, as we say, trying to get Winston to give anything away.
'So, in a sense, it's a fight scene with dialogue, which you only accept after you know that I'm on your side.'
After a fifth 'John Wick' movie was confirmed by Lionsgate - with Reeves' set to return as the titular assassin - McShane said he would gladly play Winston again, so long as he's 'still around'.
He said: 'If I'm still around, but they decide to do it, that would be a very nice thing.
'Yeah, I've loved it so far. It's been a great, great 11 years.'
McShane shared that the creative team behind 'John Wick' felt 'sort of like a family', particularly with the likes of director Chad Stahelski being involved from the start.
He continued: 'And as I said, it's sort of like a family because we same director, same photographer, much the same actors with editions down again. But yeah, it's been a good trip so far.'

"I think I'm not — I really love James Bond and particularly Daniel Craig's tenure. But I think I wouldn't be good at it, and I think there's so many cool, younger actors who would be great for it. I think it would be wasted on me, probably." Taron also observed that leading the Bond franchise is "quite an undertaking". He said: "That's not to say that I don't have aspirations and plans and also that I wouldn't be interested in doing something that's more commercial, because of course I would. I think I'm a period in my life where, as you say, I've been probably following the things that speak to me on a creative level a little bit more, but, you know, I'm sure I won't feel that way forever. "But James Bond is quite an undertaking and I think, one, as far as I'm aware, nobody's asking me to do it."

I feared ruining The Studio, says Dave Franco
Dave Franco feared he would "ruin" The Studio. The 40-year-old actor made a cameo appearance in the hit comedy series, and he's admitted to being shocked by his Emmy nomination. The Hollywood star - who has been nominated for the Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series gong - told People: "I always saw that coming. No, it's insane. "And the truth of it all is I truly did not think this nomination was even a possibility. The actress and Dave love working together, but they're still "very selective" about the projects they commit to. Alison told Collider: 'I think, to do this project, we have acted in some things together, and by this point, Dave has directed me in a couple of movies, we wrote a film together. Ralph Ineson 'felt like a Formula One car' in The Fantastic Four: First Steps costume
Ralph Ineson "felt like a Formula One car" during the making of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The 55-year-old star plays villain Galactus in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster and explained the lengths that the crew had to go to keep him cool in his heavy costume. Ralph told Collider: "For the actor, it's like working in a huge rubber suit in a sauna, but you're not allowed to sweat. "So, I have a whole pit crew around me – I'm like a Formula One car – with people taking off bits of my costume in between takes to bring my body temperature down, and then bring it back on for the next take. "People are shoving air conditioning units up the back of my armour to keep my body temperature down. So, it's a really strange sight. There are eight people buzzing around me like a Formula One pit crew." Ralph explained that the "strangest" part about starring in the film is seeing his character recreated in toy form for merchandise. The Harry Potter star said: "It's really crazy. The maddest one for this, for me, is the popcorn bucket of Galactus' head, which is about this big. It's enormous! That's kind of surreal. "I saw a picture of a toy that's being released, which is kind of to scale to the normal toys, so the Galactus one is about two and a half feet tall. So, yeah, it's very strange to see yourself in toy form." Ineson explained that there was some dialogue from Galactus that he was disappointed to see absent from the flick's final cut, but he respects director Matt Shakman's editorial decisions. He said: "From my point of view, there's no kind of sections, but there were various versions, dialogue-wise, of certain speeches, and there were a couple of phrases that I particularly liked that I would have liked to have stayed in that were replaced by other ones. "But that's not my job. I don't do those things. That's Matt and editors." The Fantastic Four: First Steps also stars Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/ Invisible Woman and she has confessed to becoming a "nerd" about her alter ego. She told Variety: "I'm such a Sue nerd. "There was something so allegorical about her. She was called Invisible Girl. Then Psycho-Man comes and disrupts everything, and she has a meeting with her own dark side in Malice. She comes back, and she renames herself Invisible Woman. So she transforms from a girl to a woman. "There's something about meeting the hardest parts of yourself in Malice that felt extremely poignant to me. I'm really hopeful I might be allowed to be Malice at some point for her." Vanessa previously described how she loves to take on "challenging" roles. The Crown actress told TheTalks: "I really like pushing past my limits in that way — I love it. "When I read something and go, 'Uh, I don't know how I am going to do this,' then I know I should do it. I don't think it feels as challenging when you read a script and go, 'I know exactly how I am going to do this.'"
