Kristin Cavallari revisited the ups and downs of her TV career for PEOPLE's latest episode of Reality Rewatch. After watching one of the more explosive scenes of Very Cavallari, in which she screams at an Uncommon James employee, the founder reflects on what she felt in that moment.
'I wish as a boss I didn't lose my s--- like that,' Cavallari explains. 'However, that was the final straw after a million different things. And that was a huge launch day, a huge moment.'
The incident in the season 1 clip showed the reality star's frustration when she learned the Uncommon James social media director Shannon Ford — who was rolling her eyes and dismissing Cavallari — did not add links for people to shop the products featured in photos. This tension continued to build and ultimately led to Ford's memorable firing in the season 2 premiere.
'I never regret showing any of those startup moments on Very Cavallari because I, actually during that phase, had a lot of entrepreneurs, founders, CEOs coming up to me and saying they really appreciated that I put those real raw, not-glamorous moments on TV,' Cavallari shares. 'Because it's what every founder goes through. The challenging part for me during that time was, filming a show about my company really attracted the wrong type of employee.'
'I'm very thankful for the show, because it catapulted Uncommon James to the next level, but I'm really happy now that I do not have cameras in the office,' she adds. 'Because I have the most incredible team who does not care about being on camera. It's a very different type of person.'
Ford has previously addressed the feud, which worsened when she posted a video of what she claimed was an accidental run-in with Cavallari's ex-husband Jay Cutler shortly after their divorce. In a 2021 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she insisted that she she wasn't bad at her job, but now she better understands Cavallari's frustration.
"I knew I was good at it, but it was like college all over for me, where like every report card I've ever seen since fourth grade is like, 'she has so much potential but she just won't apply herself,'" Ford noted at the time, admitting that she'd often party with her friends and forget to post things for work when she was supposed to.
She also acknowledged that she 'made a lot of excuses.'

Very Cavallari came to an end in 2020, after three seasons when Cavallari and Cutler, who share three children together, split. Although the Let's Be Honest podcast host has since said she would never return to reality TV, she currently has a limited documentary series airing on E! called Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, which follows her at her live podcast shows.

After the rock god's death, a Thames Valley Air Ambulance spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement that its helicopter "was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles on Tuesday 22nd July." The Daily Mail first reported that the air ambulance was called to the Black Sabbath frontman's family home and spent two hours providing care before the rock legend died. Osbourne's family — including wife Sharon and his kids Louis, Aimee, Kelly and Jack — said their final goodbyes to the rocker during an emotional funeral procession on July 30 in Birmingham, England. Weeks before his death, Osbourne performed from a throne at the Black Sabbath farewell concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England — a live show that would be his final concert and his first in 20 years with the band that made him a star. 'Speech therapists exist for a reason'For many kids — and especially those who have trouble pronouncing certain sounds — learning how to say their own name is an important developmental milestone. 'It can get super frustrating for them when they go to soccer or camp and everyone just misses it,' Chloe Conrad, a San Diego-based speech-language pathologist, tells PEOPLE. But not all names are built the same, and a couple of name-selection tips can help set kiddos up for success, even if they struggle with pronunciation, says Conrad. Her main suggestion? 'If there's an 'R' or an 'L,' I would try to avoid an 'O' sound,' she says. That includes names like Rory, Rowan, Aurora, Laurel, Ariella and Lorelai. 'Any name that has earlier developing sounds, like 'P,' 'B,' 'M' and 'N' — so 'Mimi,' 'Hannah' and 'Anna' are pretty easy,' says Conrad. But Conrad wants to be clear: 'At the end of the day, if you love a name, you should still name your child that name,' she says. She even admits that she has a name in her family with three 'R' sounds that she'll 'probably use.' 'I'm going to be setting myself up,' Conrad laughs. And even when kids have names that they struggle to pronounce, there are other tricks they can use to increase their confidence while they're in the process of learning to say those difficult sounds. 'Kids can have a little bracelet with their name on it for backup, so they can not be so frustrated,' she says. And if they're struggling to pronounce an 'L' sound, Conrad adds, they can make an 'L' with their fingers to make sure the sound is getting across. Several months ago, Conrad launched her private practice, Spunky Speech Therapy, where she meets with young patients who struggle with the pronunciation of certain sounds. In addition to her clinical work, though, she aims to reach a broader audience of other speech-language pathologists through her social media pages, where she shares a bit of her expertise. "I'm just hoping to be someone that, I, as an SLP, would've really wanted — to give those tips and tricks," says Conrad. But her most viral video — which notched over 700,000 views on TikTok — "happened to fall into mom land," she adds, grabbing the attention of parents-to-be who wanted to avoid giving their children names that are difficult to pronounce. "It's been fun to break down some of that information for parents," says Conrad. "For moms who have kids in speech or who don't — they can have access to that information and even see if the therapist they are working with is a good fit." 'My advice to a parent who's still deciding on a name is to pick whatever name feels the most important to you or that you like the best,' concludes Conrad. 'If your child then has difficulty saying that name, that's OK. Speech therapists exist for a reason, and somebody can help support your child to help [them] say their name.'
