Pals of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson weigh in on Pamela Anderson romance

Daily Mail5 days ago
Pamela Anderson and her Naked Gun leading man Liam Neeson brought their undeniable chemistry to SiriusXM Studios in Manhattan on Wednesday where host Andy Cohen shared rare insight into their budding romance.
Cohen happened to be 'dear friends' with the late Natasha Richardson, who was married to the 73-year-old Irishman for 15 years until her tragic skiing accident.
'I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is,' the 57-year-old Bravo host gushed on SiriusXM earlier Wednesday.
'As I was telling him at the [Naked Gun] premiere party, I go, "Liam, [Pamela] is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys. I mean, this just works, and you know?"
'She is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. Like what she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself.'
The 58-year-old Baywatch alum experienced a full-blown career resurgence last year after starring in Gia Coppola's drama The Last Showgirl, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.
Andy noted that 'it's been 16 years' since Richardson died, at age 45, from a traumatic brain injury in 2009, so Neeson might be ready for love again.
However, the Oscar-nominated actor has technically been single since 2012 when he ended his two-year relationship with Freya St. Johnston.
On Wednesday, Liam sweetly held hands with Pamela while speaking with Cohen.
This, after Neeson pretended to make out with Anderson on the TODAY show.
'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors,' the Schindler's List alum gushed on the NBC morning show Tuesday.
'It was like "Ooh, this is nice, let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe." And that's what we did.'
The coy couple are the happiest they've looked in years, as a source told People on Monday: 'They're enjoying each other's company. It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.'
Earlier this month, the Golden Globe nominee gushed to EW: 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He's a good guy.'
Pamela has been married an eye-popping, five times to four different men - Dan Hayhurst (2020-2022), Rick Salomon (2007-2008 and 2014-2015), Kid Rock (2006-2007), and Tommy Lee (1995-1998).
On Monday, Anderson and Liam looked like every bit the blended family as they posed with their two sons - Micheál, 30; and Daniel, 28; (with Richardson) as well as Brandon, 29; and Dylan, 27; (with Lee).
The 15-time Playboy cover girl portrays nightclub singer Beth opposite Neeson's Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation, which hits US/UK theaters this Friday.
The Naked Gun also features Danny Huston, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Busta Rhymes, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, and Eddie Yu.
Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and David Zucker wrote and directed the original trilogy spanning 1988-1994, which amassed a total $476.4M at the global box office, following the short-lived ABC series Police Squad in 1982.

Kylie Jenner spends 'half a million dollars' to make new mansion more private... after stalker scares

Kylie Jenner is investing a hefty sum to protect her privacy at her new Calabasas mansion. The 27-year-old billionaire dropped $500,000 on olive trees to surround her latest property, which is wrapping up construction, according to the US Sun. Aerial photos clearly show the line of trees intended to block views of her mansion as progress on it continued. The Kylie Cosmetics founder purchased the land from Miley Cyrus for $15 million in 2020. And after five years, the palatial residence is nearly complete. Kylie currently resides in another luxe abode nearby, her $36 million home that's tucked away in LA's Hidden Hills enclave — which is also part of Calabasas. Once it's done, Kylie's latest real estate investment will boast a 12-car underground garage and bunker. And per The Sun, the sprawling structure will have 15 bedrooms, a court for sports and a huge pool. The 30,000-sq-ft modern farm house was designed by top Canadian architect Richard Landry on a four-acre lot. The main house is expected to be around 18,000-square-feet, according to Architectural Digest, and one of the other structures will be a smaller guest house. Kylie — who has had to deal with stalkers in the past — will also have a building created to house her security team as they watch over her land. The mother-of-two will live at the home with daughter Stormi, seven, and son Aire, three, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, 34. She is now dating actor Timothée Chalamet, 29, who will also likely spend a good amount of time premises. The reality television personality was active on Instagram Monday, posting photos as she prepared to do a photo shoot for her Khy clothing brand. For the work day she was casually dressed in a dark sports bra, black Nike track pants, and platform sandals from ERL. She wrote across a mirror selfie, featuring her raven locks in a messy ponytail, 'The energy I'm bringing to my shoot today.' The multi-hyphenate also teased new pieces from Khy, which she launched in nearly two years ago in November 2023. One outfit consisted of a black off-the-shoulder top and matching skintight leggings. Another look was a tiny, body-hugging, strapless heather gray mini dress, into which the Kardashians star snugly slipped her famous curves.

Johnny Carson's third wife Joanna warmly remembered as 'wonderful' following her death at 93

Joanna Carson, the third wife of late comedy legend Johnny Carson, is being fondly remembered by her friends after her death at 93 last month. Joanna's death was revealed to her friends in July, and she was laid to rest last week in a funeral service, Extra reported Monday. The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation honored the late model in a Facebook post on July 30, saying she and late philanthropist Wallis Annenberg embodied the 'spirit of love and support' the organization's famed founder had in mind. Joanna, who grew up in New York, was previously married to Tim Holland, a backgammon player, for six years. Following their split, she began modeling and eventually met the NBC late night king, who was 15 years her senior and had been twice wed before. Johnny Carson - who hosted The Tonight Show from 1962 until 1992, died January 23, 2005 at the age of 79. His name has been in the headlines as of late in connection with the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Numerous media analysts have pointed out the tendency of Johnny Carson - who single-handedly dominated late night ratings for three decades - to not veer off too far politically so as not to alienate a large chunk of potential viewers. Joanna was well-remembered on the Facebook page, as a user named Trey Wilson described her and the late Wallis Annenberg as 'extraordinary women' who were 'born into different family systems faiths and traditions. They ultimately 'both used their gifts and talents to help people and animals that are discounted,' Wilson said, adding, 'They both helped me remember my moral compass.' .

'You mother******': Elvis's drug-fueled rage erupts in newly published private letters

To Elvis Presley's greatest fan, the King of Rock 'n' Roll was immortal. 'Elvis didn't die,' his manager Colonel Tom Parker insisted to a reporter in the days after Presley passed. 'The body did. I talked with him this morning, and he told me to carry on.' 'Colonel', as Elvis called him (and as Parker always referred to himself), refused to accept that music's biggest star was extinguished.
