Daniel Forsberg, marketing manager EVSE at the EV chargepoint manufacturer CTEK, said: 'Welsh drivers look set to be in the fast lane for switching both in five years' time and a decade from now.
'The Welsh Government and the local councils can do more to entice drivers to move from petrol or diesel to electricity, including by massively expanding the availability of public charging so ICE drivers feel confident that if they do switch to an EV they can charge easily and conveniently.'

Improvement grants for Monmouthshire town centres now available
Monmouthshire County Council's Town Centre Property Improvement Grant offers financial support for enhancements to properties in the designated town centres of Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow, Magor with Undy, Monmouth, and Usk. Priorities for the funding include projects which will bring vacant commercial space back into use, projects which deliver substantial improvement to buildings whose current condition has a significant negative impact on the townscape, and projects which deliver improvement to historic buildings. The scheme is open to property owners or leaseholders with a remaining lease of at least three years, or seven years for projects which include internal renovations to create new residential units.
