Justin Bieber's 'masking smile' as wife Hailey makes 'unusual gesture'
Hailey Bieber made a point of removing her wedding ring, showing off her bare finger to paps at every opportunity, while her husband Justin Bieber 's bizarre behaviour appears to spiral. The couple have sparked divorce rumours, after their marriage appears to be on the rocks, with Hailey showing signs of 'frustration' with her husband.
The 28-year-old was papped out in the West Village in New York, where she made a point of showing waiting photographers her bare ring finger. She grabbed herself some breakfast at The Commerce Inn, wearing over-sized sunglasses as she stepped out of a black SUV.
The model and Rhode Beauty founder made sure her left arm was raised, keeping her ringless finger front and centre the whole time. Her £500,000 sparkle was nowhere to be seen, and later that evening, she was seen with model mates Suki Waterhouse and Camila Morrone, once again, sans wedding ring.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber's increasingly concerning behaviour has seen fans speculate that a split is on the cards. Earlier in the week, the child star uploaded a number of cryptic posts, one of which was a blurred monochrome selfie in which he could be seen looking glum.
In a troubling caption, the 31-year-old wrote: 'Tired of transactional relationships. If I have to do something to be loved that's not love."
A body language expert has analysed their recent activity, and suspects Hailey is purposely emphasising the fact she's taken her wedding ring off. In one photo, she holds her hand up as she exits her car, in what body launguage expert Darren Stanton describes as "unusual".
Explaining to the US Sun, Stanton said: "That's a very unusual gesture and it seems to be that she's trying to emphasise the point that she's not got the ring on." He added: "Hailey is making a very exerted effort to show the paparazzi that she's no longer wearing the ring."
Meanwhile, Justin, who married Hailey in 2018, is putting on a "brave face", Stanton claims. He said: "With Justin, I see elements of sadness. I think he is more emotionally distressed than she is. He is trying to put on a brave face."
He added that Justin could be putting on a "masking smile" - a fake smile to cover up his true emotions. Stanton explained the singer doesn't have the "two main tells" of a real smile - there are no crows feet or laughter lines.
The so-called 'human lie detector' added: "No matter how old someone is, if the whole face is not engaged and we don't see the three lines at the side of the eyes, then it is most probably a fake smile to conceal and inner emotion and I believe that Justin is feeling sadness."
It comes after Hailey branded Justin a "f***ing child" after he made a series of odd posts on social media to celebrate Father's Day. Justin, who shares nine-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber with Hailey, went on a wild rant in which he admitted he is 'broken', 'angry' and 'exhausted' from 'thinking about himself all the time'.
Justin snubbed wife Hailey on what should have been a special day, and opted against posting wholesome family snaps. Instead, he shared photos of himself holding what appeared to be a joint, later telling fans he was "a dad that's not to be f***ed with."

Hailey Bieber posts saucy bedroom snap as Justin admits to 'extremely selfish' behavior
posted a saucy bedroom snap to her Insta Stories, as she and her husband Justin present a united front following his disclosure of their marital issues. Over the past few months, Justin has raised eyebrows with his hollow-eyed appearance and his social media posts. Fans have been harboring mounting concerns over Justin's health, and there have also been rumors of marital strife with Hailey. He seemingly laid bare their relationship struggles in the emotional lyrics of his new album Swag – although has declared that he 'will not' leave her. Since then the couple have repeatedly stepped out in public together, and last week she was seen enthusiastically kissing him at a listening party for Swag. Now, as she continues to shrug off Justin's revelations, Hailey has posted a steamy selfie in which she makes come-hither eyes at the camera while striking a classic lounging pinup pose in bed. Justin, meanwhile, posted a suite of images that showed him enjoying an outdoor stroll, walking down a path between some trees towards a river or pond. 'Let's have a good day, let's go outside,' he wrote, urging fans: 'Get in nature,' and divulging that he was 'Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning.' Offering another glimpse into his private life, Justin added: 'I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me.' The posts come just four days days after Hailey shared a picture of herself treating her shirtless husband to a passionate kiss. The model shared the loved-up snap with her other half, 31, to her Instagram Stories, after attending a listening party for his new record at the exclusive Bird Street Club. The photo captured the pair in an intimate liplock, with a shirtless Justin holding the model close to him with both hands. Hailey, with her eyes closed, was pictured in a cropped black halter top, holding a yellow canned drink and her cellphone. Meanwhile, Justin showcased his tattooed arms, wearing only white basketball shorts with saggy jean shorts over them. The smooch comes after Justin seemingly laid bare their marriage struggles in the emotional lyrics of his new album, titled Swag – although has declared that he 'will not' leave her. Justin also shared a number of images from the party to his Instagram. One black and white photo showed him holding Hailey from behind, with her hand clasped over his. Yet another snap showed Hailey lovingly gazing at her spouse as he partied with his friends. Justin was pictured roaming through the party shirtless with a beer in his hand. His pants were secured by a brown belt with a silver, heart-shaped buckle, and his outfit was finalized with a pair of green socks. The Canadian crooner was surrounded by numerous pals and danced the night away. Another image showed him by the DJ booth, focused on something on the laptop. Justin also shared a video of himself performing a dance to one of his songs while sipping on his beer. It appears the singer took off a few articles of clothing during the party, as earlier in the night he was seen arriving to the event with Hailey while fully clothed. He was seen wearing a pink hoodie, matching funky sunglasses, a white cap on his head and platform slip-on shoes. He and Hailey held hands with one another while crossing the sidewalk. His latest album, Swag, which Justin released July 11, appears to allude to a challenging time between the couple, who have been married since 2018. Over the past few months, Justin has raised eyebrows with his hollow-eyed appearance and his social media posts. Fans have been harboring mounting concerns over Justin's health, and there have also been rumors of marital strife with Hailey. After months of rumors he has vowed to 'change' for his wife following a rocky period. In the album's second track, Daisies, Justin appears to be singing about him and Hailey being at loggerheads and failing to communicate clearly. The lyrics read: 'Throwin' petals like, "Do you love me or not?" / Head is spinnin', and it don't know when to stop / You said "Forever," babe, did you mean it or not? / Hold on, hold on. 'You leave me on read, babe, but I still get the message / Instead of a line it's three dots, but I can connect them / And if it ain't right, babe, you know I respect it / But if you need time, just take your time / Honey, I get it, I get it, I get it.' In track 10 of the 21-song track list, titled Walking Away, Justin sings about the couple 'taking a break' and 'testing patience.' 'Days go by so fast, don't wanna spend them with you / So tell me why you're throwing stones at my back / You know I'm defenseless,' he sings in the first verse. 'Girl, we better stop before we say some s*** / We've been testing our patience / I think we better off if we just take a break,' he continues. But the chorus and subsequent verses paint a picture of their enduring love despite strife. 'Baby, I ain't walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, I'd change / It's just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain't walking away,' he sings in the chorus. Ahead of the album's release, Hailey had some choice words for their fans as she took to social media to promote it. She took aim at the 'losers' who've speculated about their relationship as she re-posted a photo of Justin's massive Swag billboard in NYC's Times Square, captioned: 'Is it finally clocking to you f***ing losers?' She appeared to suggest that Justin's recent bizarre behavior wasn't the result of any marriage troubles but due to him being hard at work on his long-awaited music, which he partially recorded in Iceland back in April. Hailey also recently revealed what Justin is really like as a father and admitted she 'struggled to accept' her surprise pregnancy. The Rhode founder and the pop star welcomed their first child together, a baby boy called Jack, in August 2024. Speaking to Vogue Italia as their August 2025 cover girl, Hailey appeared to quash the rumors of a rift between her and Justin, as she gushed over him being an 'extraordinary' father, 'a natural', and 'seeing her as a goddess, a superhero'. However Hailey also opened up about her pregnancy with Jack, revealing it was unexpected. 'The pregnancy was hard for me to accept, it was a surprise and you have to deal with so many emotions,' she told the outlet. 'You realize that your life will never be the same again, yes, it changes in a positive way, but it will never be the same again.'

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty 'living separate lives' before shock split
This Morning's Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have announced they are separating after 13 years of marriage, with the couple not seen together in public in over a year. Comedian Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley have revealed their shocking separation after 13 years of marriage. It has now emerged that the pair appeared to be leading separate lives in the lead-up to their surprising split. The TV stars disclosed on Tuesday, July 29, that they are no longer together in a bombshell statement. However, prior to the announcement, the pair hadn't been photographed together publicly for more than a year. The final photograph of the couple together was captured in 2023, according to reports in the Mirror. They looked content in the picture as they attended the Ballywalter London premiere at The May Fair Hotel on September 18, 2023. At the time, This Morning presenter Cat posted on her social media showing the pair beaming as they prepared for the event and then sat amongst the audience. Patrick was subsequently invited onto the stage. Cat posted on her Instagram: "Magical evening last night at the London Premiere of @BallywalterFilm! . Celebrating the talents of @PatricKielty and @SeanaKerslake, director @PrasannaBanana, and the brilliant cast and crew! (+ @EdiBow... the hostess with the mostest! ) #BallywalterFilm is in cinemas very soon on 9/22 ! !" A month later, Patrick made his last appearance on the This Morning presenter's Instagram page. Nearly two years on, the couple has called it quits after Patrick seemingly disappeared from Cat's social media posts. This also follows Cat failing to post a Father's Day tribute to Patrick last month. The former couple share two children together. Prior to their announcement, the couple had relocated their family from Los Angeles to London in 2023. This followed 15 years of living in the US. Now, in a joint statement issued to the PA news agency, they said: "We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. "We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment." Whilst Cat became the presenter of ITV's morning programme, Patrick fronted RTE's The Late Late Show. She had previously spoken candidly about the difficulties they encountered when trying to balance parenthood with hosting the programme. She admitted the "juggle" was "real". In March earlier this year, Cat was absent from Patrick's mum's funeral in Northern Ireland. Devastating images captured a heartbroken Patrick carrying her coffin through the streets. Hundreds had gathered to line the roads as those dearest to Mary and her family came together for a service at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Dundrum. At the time, a spokesperson informed the Mirror that Cat had stayed at home to look after their young sons Milo and James. They said: "Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day." The pair first crossed paths while co-hosting Fame Academy in 2002, but it wasn't until nine years later in 2011 that they made their debut as a couple. They exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony in Rome in September 2012. During a 2020 guest appearance on Ireland's The Late Late Show, then hosted by Ryan Tubridy, Cat revealed how Patrick had initially won her over: "We had been friends for a very, very long time. Since we did [TV show] Fame Academy and all that," she shared. "We would always call each other on birthdays or Christmas, or we'd see each other occasionally or whatever it was. Anyway, there was a night where it was the day before my birthday. I can't even remember what birthday it was now! It was 30-something. Anyway, he called me and he spoke to me on the phone." The mum-of-two continued: "He said, 'Oh, what are you doing for your birthday? I'm just ringing to say happy birthday.' I said, 'Oh, we're going to the Beverly Hills Hotel. We're just going to have a late brunch; it's going to be very civilised. It's a shame you're not here, otherwise you could come'. And he was like, 'Well, eh I'll be there'. "Now, bear in mind at this point, Ryan, he was at the Maghera Inn down the end of the road, and in Ireland, I think it was approximately three o'clock in the morning, so I wasn't too sure! I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, sure you will. Sure you will, Charlie Big Bananas, sure you'll be there! I'll hold you a seat, how about that? "Anyway, I didn't know this, but he basically stumbled home from the pub, set an alarm clock, booked a flight to go back to Heathrow I think the first flight out."

Katy Perry enjoys 'date' with Justin Trudeau weeks after split from Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry confirmed her split from Orlando Bloom earlier this month in a joint statement and she's now sparked romance rumours with former politician Justin Trudeau Newly single Katy Perry reportedly enjoyed a "dinner date" with Justin Trudeau whilst on tour in Canada. The singer-songwriter is said to have been spotted at a restaurant with the former Prime Minister of Canada earlier this week. Speculation of a potential new romance comes after it was announced just weeks ago that Katy, 40, had split up from actor Orlando Bloom, 48. Justin, 53, has gone through a high-profile separation in recent years too, having shared that he had split from his wife Sophie Trudeau, 50, in 2023. Katy and Justin are said to have spent time together last night amid her latest world tour. The Lifetimes Tour headed to Canada last week and she's due to perform in Ottawa tonight before taking to the stage in Montreal tomorrow. Footage obtained by TMZ is said to show them dining together at Le Violon in Montreal last night. A source told the outlet that the pair had some cocktails and shared several dishes, with one of them said to have featured lobster. They are said to have been greeted by the chef at one point, before heading into the kitchen to personally thank staff at the restaurant following their meal. According to TMZ, co-executive chef Danny Smiles said there were no public displays of affection and that he didn't get 'dating vibes'. TMZ has however since published additional photos that are said to show Katy and Justin out in Montreal an hour and a half before the meal. The outlet teased that they looked like a "couple" whilst walking through the city together. Katy and her former fiancé Orlando announced their separation earlier this month. It came following much speculation about their relationship, including that the couple had been planning "make-or-break talks" amid a "rough patch". Just weeks ago though, representatives for Katy and Orlando, who have a daughter together, issued a joint statement to outlets like Page Six. It confirmed that they had separated, with their relationship said to have now shifted to co-parenting together. The statement read: "Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect." Justin announced that he had separated from his wife Sophie, with whom he shares his three children, in August 2023. He issued a statement at the time, in which he said that they would remain a "close family" following their split. He said: "Sophie and I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate." Justin continued by saying that they would continued to have "deep love and respect". Justin said: "As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and we will continue to build. For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy."
