Tom Brady's loss? Gisele Bündchen says she's finally earned her happiness without him
Nearly three years after her high-profile divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen is embracing a new chapter defined by motherhood, peace, and self-fulfillment. The Brazilian supermodel recently welcomed a baby boy with her partner, jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente, and for the first time in a long while, she says she finally feels like she's earned her place in this new phase of life.
Embracing a new family rhythm and finding balance
In an interview with French Vogue, where Gisele Bündchen appeared radiant on the cover, she opened up about how life has shifted since the birth of her third child. Already a devoted mother to Benjamin (15) and Vivian (12), whom she shares with Brady, Gisele also proudly considers Brady's son Jack, 17, her 'bonus child.'
'Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I'm back in control of my routine,' Gisele said.
'As any new mom knows, it's incredible how much sleep—or lack of it—can change everything! But once again, I feel truly grateful: being able to be home with my kids and enjoy every moment with them is priceless.'
She recently gave fans a rare glimpse into her personal life by sharing the first photos of her newborn on Mother's Day, reflecting on how she's been 'very busy living life.' While she has kept the baby's name private, her message was clear: this season of quiet joy is deeply fulfilling.
From heartbreak to healing and personal empowerment
Gisele hasn't shied away from speaking about the emotional toll of her divorce from Brady. In a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, she candidly described the split as 'the death of [her] dream.' After 14 years of marriage and countless sacrifices for the family, she admitted, 'You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it's heartbreaking when it doesn't end up the way you hoped for.'
But today, she's standing in a place of clarity and gratitude.
'I feel more comfortable in my own skin and have a clearer understanding of my priorities,' Gisele told Vogue. 'I'm grateful for where I am. I feel like I've earned it.' A powerful comeback, grounded in motherhood and purpose

Gabe Perreault leads New York Rangers' young left-wing pool with right-side depth being a concern
New York Rangers (via Getty Images) New York Rangers (via Getty Images) New York Rangers (via Getty Images) New York Rangers (via Getty Images) New York Rangers (via Getty Images) 1 2 The New York Rangers' 2025-26 NHL prospect pool has an intriguing imbalance between their sides, headed by emerging forward Gabe Perreault on the left side and a lack of elite-level talent on the right. Despite a solid young skater core and an encouraging recent draft class, the Rangers' roster shows an imbalance in critical areas. With Brennan Othmann, Scott Morrow, and Carey Terrance each on the cusp of requiring NHL ice time in the near term, New York appears committed to developing from within. New York Rangers' left side is loaded with talent, but right-wing prospects lack impact players The New York Rangers' pipeline is teeming with upside at left wing, and it starts with high-end players in Gabe Perreault, Brennan Othmann, and Malcolm Spence. The corps is spearheaded by the impressive Perreault, who just finished a dominating run in the NCAA at Boston College, scoring more than 100 points over two years. Having helped Team USA win two World Junior gold medals, he now looks to utilize his playmaking ability with New York's second six. Othmann, who already had a short taste with the Rangers, is a gritty forward with scoring potential and might be ready for an everyday NHL job this year. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Hi Tabbola Undo Malcolm Spence, their 2025 second-rounder, fell in the draft after being projected for the first round. His two-way play and scoring sense make him one of the more tantalizing names in the system. Are the New York Rangers a prime bounce-back candidate next season? Deeper down the roster, Brett Berard and Adam Sykora bring energy play and forechecking ability, and Kalle Vaisanen brings size and composure. All in all, the left wing offers a blend of skill, grit, and ceiling attributes that impart long-term sustainability to the Rangers' top line. Right side depth remains New York Rangers' biggest prospect question mark Although the left side is talented, the depth on the right wing is subpar. Other than Gabe Perreault, who will shuttle between the two wings according to line needs, there are few impactful pieces. Brendan Brisson, a former first-rounder acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights, has been incapable of making an NHL impact at age 23. His window is vanishing unless he finds a scoring reliability. Prospects like Brody Lamb and Jaroslav Chmelar fill out the right wing depth chart, but neither has shown he will become a difference-maker. The lack of high-ceiling talent could be an issue, particularly if Perreault is a full-time left-side player. The center slot also doesn't have any prominent names, though there's prospect Carey Terrance. Picked up in the Chris Kreider trade, Terrance is speedy, physical, and possesses solid defensive instincts. He's likely headed to the AHL this season and may have a bottom-six role in the NHL in a year or two. On the blue line, Scott Morrow leads the unit with some of the best puck-moving skills in the draft class, and EJ Emery, Sean Barnhill, and Drew Fortescue make up a solid but still-developing defensemen unit. The Rangers' 2025 NHL Draft class, spearheaded by Spence and supported by players such as Artem Gonchar and Zeb Lindgren, contributes to that depth, though none of them are expected to play immediately. Also read: Chris Kreider asked for a trade and now the New York Rangers are left with more questions than answers The New York Rangers enter the 2025–26 season with one of the more intriguing—and imbalanced—groups of prospects in the NHL. While the left wing appears likely to be a long-term source of strength, thanks to Gabe Perreault, Brennan Othmann, and Malcolm Spence, the lack of depth on the right side and down the middle is a concern. If someone like Carey Terrance or Brisson can make a step forward, it could alleviate some of those worries. But for now, the Rangers' future success hinges on how well they balance this positional disparity. Ligue 1 transfer news: Marseille signs Brazilian winger Paixao to boost attack
Ligue 1 club Marseille has bolstered its attack by signing Brazilian winger Igor Paixao from Feyenoord in a deal that could rise to €35 million ($40.6 million). The 25-year-old Paixao scored 18 goals in 47 games last season and was voted the Dutch player of the season. Marseille beat competition from newly promoted Premier League team Leeds United to sign him. Marseille announced the deal late Friday without giving further details, but French media reports valued the deal at €30 million with an additional five million in performance-related bonuses. Marseille paid a club-record €32 million to Portuguese club Braga to sign forward Vitinha in early 2023. Vitinha failed to settle and scored only six goals in 43 games before being sold to Genoa. Paixao showed his full repertoire of skills during a Champions League game against AC Milan in February, scoring in a 1-0 win and giving the Milan defense a torrid time all game with his quickness. Igor Paixão: big game player. 😮💨 — Feyenoord Rotterdam (@Feyenoord) August 1, 2025 Marseille finished second in Ligue 1 last season behind Paris Saint-Germain and qualified directly for the Champions League. Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi has made several moves in the transfer market this summer, including bringing back veteran striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League. The 36-year-old Aubameyang scored 21 goals for Al-Qadsiah last season, after having spent the 2023-24 campaign at Marseille — where he netted 30 goals overall and became a fan favorite in the southern port city. Attacking midfielder Angel Gomes joined from Lille and gritty central defender Facundo Medina arrived from Lens. The arrivals of Aubameyang and Paixão bring extra firepower to an attack that already features Mason Greenwood — who scored 21 league goals last season and Amine Gouiri. Marseille opens the new Ligue 1 season when it travels all the way up the country to face Brittany-based Rennes on Aug. 15.
