Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has concluded its global roadshows. The initiative was held in partnership with Dubai World Trade Centre to promote Expand North Star 2025.
The next edition of the event will be hosted by the chamber at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October 2025.
The campaign covered 16 cities across nine countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, the UK, the US, and Vietnam. During the roadshows, the chamber engaged with more than 2,000 digital startups and 215 ecosystem stakeholders. These included venture capital funds, business incubators, and relevant government entities.
The Dubai Chamber revealed that the meetings aimed to foster collaboration and attract digital companies to Dubai. They also showcased the benefits of participating in Expand North Star 2025.
Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the event connects global startups, innovators, investors, and entrepreneurs. The goal is to highlight Dubai's growth opportunities and advance the digital economy.
Throughout the roadshows, Dubai Chamber presented the emirate's competitive advantages and support services available to digital startups. Pitch competitions were also held in each city. Winners were awarded fully sponsored participation at Expand North Star 2025.
Additionally, the chamber reported that some competitions served as qualifiers for the final round of the Supernova Challenge, the region's largest startup pitch contest, which will take place during the event.
Dubai Chamber stated that Expand North Star 2025 will further strengthen the city's position as a global hub for entrepreneurship and digital innovation.

Mr Daniel Lam, Regional Director, Middle East & Africa, HKTDC announced here today that four international trade fairs will be held this autumn in Hong Kong, which will offer ideal platforms for traders and suppliers from the UAE to expand their businesses into new markets. These fairs are: Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) ( 13-16 October 2025 ) electronicAsia ( 13-16 October 2025 ) Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) ( 27-30 October 2025 ) Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo 2025 (28-31 October 2025) The UAE is Hong Kong's 11th largest trading partner. Until November 2024, the total trade value between the two places reached over USD 14.8 billion. In which, the UAE was Hong Kong's 6th major export market with a total export value of over USD 11.2 billion and 17th largest import source with an import value of over USD 3.5 billion.
