Hiten Tejwani Reacts To Kyunki… Reboot Comparisons With Anupamaa: 'Hum Kisi Ko Neecha Dikhaane…'
Ektaa Kapoor is gearing up for the launch of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Reboot, 17 years after the soap opera became one of the most iconic shows in Indian television history. Smriti Irani is set to return to TV as everyone's beloved Tulsi, alongside Amar Upadhyay as Mihir Virani. Hiten Tejwani as Karan Virani and Gauri Pradhan as Nandini Virani will also return to the show, along with other iconic characters. The show has also been drawing comparisons with Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa, with many guessing that the TV show's TRP will be severely affected by the return of Kyuki. Amid the buzz, Hiten Tejwani, who was once a part of Anupamaa, addressed the comparisons.
The hype for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Reboot is real. Netizens have been drawing comparisons between the revival of Kyunki and the currently top-rated daily soap Anupamaa. Hiten Tejwani has now weighed in on this much-talked-about comparison.
Talking of the comparisons, Hiten Tejwani told Telly Masala, 'Ab hum aa rahe hain, humein aane toh dijiye. Fir baad mein aap log hi decide karenge kon kya hai. Hum kaun hote hain kuch bolne waale. Jo cheez achhi hai, achhi hai, joh achhi nahi hai, aap maalik ho, aapko pata hai, sabko pata hai. Fans hain, sab woh hi decide karte hain, unhein joh cheez pasand aati hai woh yun pasand aati hai, nahi aati woh turant bata dete hain. Aaj kal ki audience clear hai ye mamle mein (Now we're coming, so let us arrive first. After that, you all can decide who's what. Who are we to say anything? If something is good, it's good. If it's not, you're the judge — you know it, everyone knows it. It's the fans who decide. If they like something, they love it; if they don't, they let you know right away. Today's audience is very clear about these things)."
Hiten went on to add, 'Hum log kisi ko neecha dikhaane ya kuch niche karne uske liye nahi aa rahe hain. Ek nostalgia hai. I am sure makers bhi chahte the Ektaa ma'am bhi ki kuch laaye aur aaj ke time ki baate kar paaye (We're not coming back to put anyone down or overshadow anything. It's all about nostalgia. I'm sure the makers, and Ektaa ma'am as well, simply wanted to bring something back that could also speak to today's times)."
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is gearing up for its much-awaited television comeback on July 29. Joining the original stars are Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, and Shagun Sharma, who will portray the next generation – the children of Tulsi and Mihir Virani.

Art goes intimate, immersive for Delhi's viewing experience at Artix 4.0 in the Capital
It's not just established masters but also emerging talent that will take centre stage as Artix 4.0 makes its way to the Capital. Now in its fourth edition, the much-anticipated event continues to be recognised as India's first hotel art exhibition, one that breaks away from conventional formats to reimagine how art is experienced. The two-day event, which opens in Delhi from tomorrow, invites art lovers, collectors, and critics to an immersive showcase where innovation will meet culture and design. Moving beyond gallery walls, the exhibition will transform hotel rooms into intimate viewing spaces; each room curated to reflect the unique sensibilities of individual artists and galleries. 'With a concept that challenges traditional gallery norms, Artix offers exclusive preview areas designed to provide an unforgettable experience — where visitors can truly sense the artist's vision,' says Malvika Poddar, one of the three co-founders. Co-founder Payal Kapoor calls it 'a creative extravaganza for all', while fellow co-founder Sethu Vaidyanathan adds, 'This event defies all rules, brightening the artistic tapestry and nurturing a new generation of collectors and connoisseurs.' Celebrating all forms of artistic expression, Artix 4.0 also aims to transcend traditional boundaries. Each corner unfolds a curated story, blending imagination with luxury. Dharki's handwoven textiles will also be displayed at this showcase. This year, 23 participants, including galleries and solo artists, will showcase their works across 25 transformed hotel rooms. Photographer Prarthana Modi will present a series in black-and-white, while artist Shruti Gupta Kasana will exhibit her intricate mixed-media canvases embroidered with contemporary interpretations of Pichwai art. 'It took me around 200 hours to complete this piece,' shares Shruti, adding, 'It serves as a dialogue between past and present, honouring tradition while expressing personal vision. I was not able to concentrate. I used to sleep for 2 hours. Used to share suicidal thoughts with my friend. I used to get scared,' he added. The cricketer also admitted to being pretentious by showing that he is in a happy relationship at times. 'A relationship is like a compromise. If one gets angry, the other has to listen. Sometimes the nature of two people does not match. I was playing for India, she was also doing her. This was going on for 1-2 years. At that point, I was so much into it, I had to give time here, give time there. I was not able to think about the relationship. Then it happens every day, you think, leave it.
