
Cha Eun Woo to enlist in South Korean military on July 28
Citing Eun Woo's agency Fantagio, Soompi reported Thursday that the South Korean actor and ASTRO member applied to join the Army Military Band and has received a final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration. He will undergo basic military training before serving in the band
According to his agency, there will be no separate events on the day of Eun Woo's enlistment, and the exact time and location will be kept private "to prevent safety accidents due to congestion."
'We ask for your unsparing support and warm encouragement for Cha Eun Woo as he diligently fulfills his military duty and returns in good health,' the statement read.
Eun Woo is the second ASTRO member to enlist in the military following MJ who finished his service in 2023.
The South Korean idol and actor was in the Philippines in March 2024 for his 'Just One 10 Minute Mystery Elevator' fan concert.
Last February, he released his debut solo EP 'Entity."
He also appeared in the music video of IU's latest comeback song 'A Beautiful Person.'
