Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio Reteam for New Action Thriller

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are teaming up for a new action thriller feature.
The project, titled "Carthage Must Be Destroyed", hails from Ocean's Eleven scribe Ted Griffin.
The film's synopsis reads: "A stranger happens upon a rust-belt city in decline, ruled by its criminal underworld. Using brain and brawn, he sows distrust and creates chaos, in order to dismantle the corrupt power structure."
Scorsese and DiCaprio are exec producing; Chad A. Verdi, LBI Entertainment's Christopher Donelly and Gareth West, Michelle Verdi, Chad Verdi Jr., Paul Luba, and Jennifer Davisson are producing. Lisa Frechette and Sera Verdi are also exec producing.
The production companies are Sikelia Productions, Appian Way Productions, Verdi Productions, and Ketchup Entertainment. Casting is currently underway, with production set to kick off in October in Rhode Island.
The project comes after DiCaprio starred in Scorsese's latest film, 2023's "Killers of The Flower Moon."

Jessie J Shares Heartbreaking Update following Mastectomy
Yara Sameh British pop singer Jessie J has confirmed she's not cancer-free following her mastectomy. The 37-year-old "Price Tag" singer told her followers on Friday that her previous social media post had been "misunderstood" and "the cancer at present had unfortunately not all gone". Jessie also said she was awaiting test results and would be taking a hiatus from social media to focus on her recovery. She penned: "I posted a list of pros and cons of having breast cancer surgery. The first pro I put was... the cancer has all gone,". "This was a positive affirmation, NOT a fact. I don't have my results yet. I added the [fingers crossed emoji] in thinking people would understand, and clearly a lot didn't,". Jessie added: "A weird situation. My fault for not being clearer. But for now, I do not have my results after surgery, which was only 6 nights ago. I pray it will be true soon, but the journey of cancer isn't that simple, unfortunately." The star concluded: "Tapping off socials for a week. Healthy and needed a reset. To focus on my recovery and saying stuff that gets twisted or misread. My head and boob hurts. Lol, Bye. Always loveeeee." The confusion came after the songstress shared an Instagram update on Thursday, which read: "Pros: Cancer has all gone." She also revealed her mastectomy surgery had gone well. Adding to her list of positives, she wrote: "I can watch Love Island with no guilt. I am getting to rest and talk to friends more than ever." Jessie also noted that her partner, Chanan Safir Colman, and their son, Sky, have been very supportive. The singer later said that while she'd written the words "cancer is gone", she ended the comment with a fingers-crossed emoji as "it's a hope, not a fact". "I only had my surgery 4 days ago. I was just saying the pros of surgery, and this situation, and being positive," Jessie added."But I will get my results soon. And hopefully I can post that as a fact. But for now, I don't know. H-Tayea Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly marked the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution with a message of national pride and reflection, calling the historic uprising 'the beginning of Egypt's course correction.' Kate Winslet Exits Hulu Series "The Spot"
Yara Sameh Oscar and Emmy winner Kate Winslet is no longer involved in Hulu drama series "The Spot". Winslet was attached as star and executive producer to the project, from creator/executive producer Ed Solomon and A24. The show, in a very competitive situation, landed at Hulu last August with a straight-to-series order. According to sources, the reasons behind her exit from the project are creative and related, at least in part, to how the show's evolution has impacted the required approach to the role. Conversations are underway with other A-list actresses, and production is still targeting a 2026 start once the role is recast. Created and written by Solomon, who will serve as showrunner, "The Spot" follows a successful surgeon — the role that is now being recast — and her school teacher husband who suspects she might be responsible for a child's hit-and-run death. While looking into the matter, dark secrets are revealed that will test their relationship as they confront the possibility of hidden guilt and betrayal.
