Ghislaine Maxwell to tell ‘truth' about Epstein client list before Congress? Bombshell details emerge

No evidence of a client list
This comes shortly after a review ordered by President Donald Trump-appointed leadership of the Justice Department and the FBI said they found no evidence that Jeffrey Epstein kept a "client list" of associates. Previously, it was claimed that the financier blackmailed or conspired with the individuals mentioned in the list to victimize several women. The new information landed Attorney General Pam Bondi under, as she had previously vowed she would publicly release documents connected to the Epstein case.
Meanwhile, the department also released purported footage as part of its review, which according to officials confirm that Epstein died by suicide. Epstein was found dead while in custody in his jail cell in Manhattan in 2019.
Maxwell was also involved in Epstein's crimes. She is now serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted in December 2021. Maxwell was accused of helping Epstein recruit and sexually abuse minor girls.
Investigative reporter Tara Palmeri previously said that Maxwell may be helping the FBI take down Epstein's collaborators, which could help her avoid serving the full 20-year sentence. 'I think she's probably helping them right now,' Palmeri told Joanna Coles on The Daily Beast Podcast. 'I don't think she's going to spend all 20 years in jail.'
'They can't let her out right now, there would be public outrage,' Palmeri added. 'But [when] nobody's paying attention, story's gone away, few years, Ghislaine's out, or ends up in some nice prison. This is what I've been told by law enforcement sources.'

2 Chhattisgarh sisters arrested for cheating in sub-engineer recruitment exam: Police
RAIPUR: An engineer and her sister have been arrested for allegedly cheating in the Chhattisgarh VYAPAM Sub-Engineer recruitment exam in Bilaspur on Sunday, police said. The case came to light after a member of the Congress's students wing, National Students' Union of India (NSUI) received a tip (Representative Image/Unsplash) Electronic devices including a hidden camera, miniature earbuds and a walkie-talkie set that were used to transmit images of the question paper and receive answers, have been seized from the two sisters identified by the police as Annu Surya, who had an engineering degree from the state's Korea district, and her sister Anuradha Surya. The case came to light after members of the Congress's students wing, National Students' Union of India (NSUI) received a tip about a woman, later identified as Anuradha, using the electronic devices under suspicious circumstances in an autorickshaw parked near an examination centre. The exam was being conducted by the Chhattisgarh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (CG VYAPAM) for recruitment to Sub-Engineer (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) posts under the Public Works Department. Police said seven electronic devices, including a secret camera hidden in Annu's clothing, a microphone, a Bluetooth device, walkie-talkies, a tablet, and mobile phones, were seized from the two sisters. According to the police, Annu used the hidden camera to send out images of the question paper. Her sister searched online for the answers to the questions and relayed the answer via a walkie-talkie connected to a micro-earpiece worn by Annu. Both sisters were arrested under sections 318(2) (cheating), 112(2) (organised crime), and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, as well as relevant sections of the Information Technology Act and the Chhattisgarh Examination Act. Police said Annu Surya, a native of Jashpur, was an engineering graduate from Korea and currently works as a schoolteacher. Her sister Anuradha is a student based in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Following the incident, Congress and National Students Union of India (NSUI ) workers staged a protest, alleging a larger conspiracy behind the case.

Golden Temple receives bomb threat over email, security tightened

Opposition parties hit the streets in Tripura over state government's decision to install smart meters, hike power tariff
Various Opposition parties in Tripura Monday protested against the state government's recent decision to install smart electric meters and hike power tariffs. The Congress organised a protest outside a Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) office in Agartala. Addressing the rally, a Congress leader said, 'The power tariff has been hiked without informing the people. We strongly condemn this and demand the withdrawal of the hike in power tariff… In West Bengal, their party is opposing the installation of smart meters, but in Tripura, the power minister is in favour of the installation of smart meters.' The Congress also organised similar protests over the issue in Unakoti, North Tripura, and Gomati districts. 'In Tripura, people want to know how much commission did (the BJP) get for introducing the smart meter. We demand that the installation be stopped immediately and the hike in tariff be withdrawn for the sake of poor people. There is no food, work here but the government, for the sake of a section of people, is trying to put the burden on the poor people,' said a Congress leader of Pabiacherra Block in Unakoti district. Another Congress leader in Kailasahar said the BJP had assured of fulfilling over 300 promises in their 'Vision Document' before coming to power. He claimed that the BJP said it would introduce a reasonable power tariff. 'After the BJP came to power, the power services are in a miserable condition in Kailasahar. On top of this, the BJP-led state government has decided to install smart meters. Why can the double-engine government not control power tariffs?' he added. Likewise, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) organised a protest in front of Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath's residence in Agartala, demanding the withdrawal of the power tariff and rollback of the decision to install smart meters. 'We have organised a sit-in in front of the power minister's residence and we shall continue our protest till he withdraws the decisions,' a TMC leader said. Meanwhile, the primary Opposition party, CPI(M), also protested in front of the Udaipur Bidyut Bhawan. 'We demand the state to stop the installation of smart meters and roll back the hike in power tariffs,' said a CPI(M) leader. Reacting to the protests, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, 'There has been an attempt to confuse people. The power tariff and the smart meter are two separate things. In the last seven years of BJP rule, the power tariff has been hiked by 24.9 per cent, while the tariff rose by 116.03 per cent during the last seven years of the erstwhile CPI(M) government.' 'Earlier, power services were directly under the state power department, but the Left Front government formed the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited in 2004,' he added. The minister said power consumers can keep both meters – the existing electronic meters and the new smart meters – if they have doubts about the smart meters. If any fault were to be detected in smart meters, the government will roll back the decision to install them, he added.
