JoJo Siwa's exes Kath Ebbs and Avery Cyrus team up for cheeky video in surprise new friendship - after Aussie influencer's swipes at Dance Moms star amid Chris Hughes romance

Daily Mail14 hours ago
JoJo Siwa 's ex-girlfriends Kath Ebbs and Avery Cyrus have teamed up for a new TikTok video as they debuted their surprising friendship.
The Dance Moms star, 22, dramatically split from Kath, 27, at the Celebrity Big Brother UK wrap party earlier this year after meeting her now-boyfriend Chris Hughes, 32.
Following the fallout, Kath made several not-so-subtle swipes at JoJo on TikTok, which were swiftly deleted, but they have now added fuel to the fire by creating a new video with Avery.
YouTuber Avery, who dated JoJo for three months back in 2022, shared a cheeky video of the pair dancing and lip syncing to the PinkPantheress track 'Illegal'.
The song includes the lyric 'is this illegal? It feels illegal', while Kath - who uses they/them pronouns - also shared their own video also featuring JoJo's ex.
The second clip showed the pair dancing to the Hilary Duff song, What Dreams Are Made Of, which featured in the teen movie, The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
'Sing for me Paolo,' Kath wrote in reference to the movie's love interest while tagging Avery in the caption.
Their unlikely bond caused quite the stir among fans, with several commenting that Kath and Avery have created 'a Siwa support club'.
Comments included: 'Is this like a support group lol; I didn't see that coming lol both jojo's exs; Is there like a gc or support group for jojos exes??;
'The collab we've all been waiting for; Omg I love it!! Therapy sessions; I would love to be a fly on the wall for their convos lol.'
JoJo has not responded to their new video and simply took to her own TikTok account to share a gushing video with her boyfriend Chris.
In the clip, JoJo surprised the former Love Island star with a red-themed snack board complete with love-heart shaped strawberries as she flaunted their affections.
She wrote: 'Saw this on my FYP and I wanted to make a colored snack board so I asked Christopher to pick a color, and he said red… had to deliver!!❤️
'He didn't know what I was doing and had no idea what to expect haha he loved it. turned out to be so fun to make and really nice to enjoy!'
Kath also shared their own video also featuring JoJo's ex dancing to the Hilary Duff song, What Dreams Are Made Of, which featured in the teen movie, The Lizzie McGuire Movie
Kath took to social media last week to reveal the five things they've learnt since their headline-making break-up from JoJo.
The LGBTQIA+ activist shared a video montage on Instagram showing them enjoying time with friends and family.
'5 lessons I've learnt over the past months,' Kath, who is non-binary, captioned the post.
'Friendship and community really are a life force. Allow those that see you and love you to hold you,' they began.
They then went on to reflect on the pressures of social media, especially in the public eye.
'Do not allow your sense of self to be dictated on an app like TikTok. People are just looking for entertainment here. Don't take it personally because you are just a porn in their story, not an actual human being,' they wrote.
'Feel it all but also remember to laugh and have fun with the chaos. It's not that deep.
'Continue to live by your values and integrity even when you feel misunderstood. Your life will always be much fuller in the long run if you stay true to who you are and what you believe in (I hope).'
Kath's fifth lesson then broached the topic of love and seemingly made a dig at their former girlfriend.
'Don't mistake attachment for love. Love is a doing word rooted in care. Look to your friends as a blueprint,' they tellingly wrote.
The union of exes has caused quite the stir among fans with several commenting that Kath and Avery have created 'a Siwa support club' and others wishing they could be a 'fly on the wall'
JoJo has not responded to their new video and simply took to her own TikTok account to share a gushing video with her boyfriend Chris
The post, which was accompanied by Alex Warren's song Ordinary, also included a caption written on the clip.
'Move on,' it pointedly read.
'You're so g*d d**n loved by those that matter.'
Meanwhile, JoJo's romance with Chris appears to be heating up, as fans have begun to speculate whether she's plotting a permanent move to the UK.
The star jetted back to the US on Sunday after spending the week with her boyfriend in England, sharing on Snapchat she's returning home to work on her new song, which will be released in a matter of days.
Since meeting Chris on Celebrity Big Brother in April, JoJo has shared she's been embraced by her newfound British fanbase, in stark contrast to the cruel backlash she's faced from some fans in the States.
Last month, the star postponed her US tour, which was due to kick off on July 10, as well as a planned performance at a Chicago Pride event, though the latter was blamed on a 'scheduling conflict'.
The star has embraced many parts of British culture, enjoying a Sunday roast with Chris mere days after they left the CBB house.
The star has also admitted she's now a converted tea-drinker, and soaked up the British countryside last month when she met Chris' family at their home in The Cotswolds.
During a dance class at Pineapple Dance Studios last month, JoJo also hinted that she'd be willing to relocate to the UK for Chris, saying she feels 'so loved' by her newfound British fanbase.
She said: 'Interestingly enough I feel so loved right now by the world, it's been beautiful.
'It's the UK and I really feel it from here.. it's been really beautiful this last month, it's been beautiful, it's been lovely, and I think I have just never been genuinely happier.
JoJo then coyly went onto add: 'You can see it, it radiates off me, and yeah there's a reason why!'
During the chat, the star was asked whether she'd be open to relocating to the UK to be with Chris, and JoJo said that while it may be an option in the future, she feels there's 'no shame' in dividing her time between the US and UK for now.
'Obviously I have a beautiful boy here and he's incredible, obviously he's here, his friends are here and his family is here,' she said.
'Obviously I'm in America, my friends are in America, my family is in America.
'Life is life, and I think there's no shame in splitting time, and all of a sudden one way is that way and the other way is that way, I don't know we go as we go! But yeah I love it here! It's beautiful.
'Honestly, coming here as a kid I used to, this sounds horrible, I used to dread it because I didn't understand the food, I didn't understand the culture.
'After Big Brother I have never loved a place more, and I think it's because I really got embraced with the culture and the food by being literally in a house with just that, when it's all that.
'But it's genuinely become my favourite place in the world, I could spend all my time here, I love it.'
JoJo has also heavily hinted that there are plans for more shows in the UK later this year, after two performances in London back in May.

Jermaine Jenas opens up on text messages that got him sacked from the BBC and reveals marriage troubles led to scandal

JERMAINE Jenas has spoken out about his exit from the BBC for sending X-rated text messages to colleagues. The former England footballer, 42, revisited the scandal that cost him his high-paid telly gigs on The One Show and Match of the Day. 5 5 5 It also ultimately led to the collapse of his marriage to his wife of 14 years, Ellie, with the pair announcing their split in March. Speaking with comedian Katherine Ryan and professional boxer Derek Chisora on his Let Me Tell You Something podcast, he said: "I broke a vow. I feel my level of punishment was up there. I had to take it and have some broad shoulders and handle it, and I feel like I did that." Jermaine likened his messages to Fifty Shades of Grey lothario Christian Grey, continuing: "It was sexting, as simple as that, but it was initiated to me and then I responded. "It wasn't just me going out of my way and it definitely 100 percent wasn't 'me 'if you do this I will help you in your work'. "There was no power element to it going on." He then admitted his personal life and marriage weren't in a good place at the time, though he insisted it was no excuse for his behaviour. "There's a lot of stuff with me and Ellie where we weren't in the best place ourselves," he said. "And things were just spiralling a little bit. In no way is that blame. I'm fully accepting responsibility. "I dealt with it wrong and got heavily punished for it by losing pretty much everything that I had at that time." Though the fallout of the messages was costly, Jermaine claimed the BBC had him "locked in a creative prison". He was sacked in an excruciating online meeting with HR and senior corporation execs, including being shown a string of X-rated messages he'd sent. He told The Sun at the time: 'I am ashamed, and I am deeply sorry." In the same interview, he confessed to lying to wife Ellie during a family holiday and sneaking off to take a Zoom call with BBC bosses over his X-rated messages. In 2023, Jenas and Ellie clashed as he started spending more time socialising with his One Show work colleagues. The pair had explosive rows but, Jermaine admitted they quietly worked through their issues with the help of couple's therapy. Heartbroken ex-model Ellie announced the couple were separating in March. She wrote: "I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it's necessary. "After 16 years together and 4 wonderful children, Jermaine and I have decided to part ways. "We will remain friends and continue to co-parent. We kindly ask that you respect our children's privacy during this challenging time. "Thank you, Ellie." The pair had been married for 14 years and share two daughters, Geneva and Olivia, and son, Jacob. Jermaine also has an older daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship. Making of a Fugitive – brand new true crime podcast launched on BBC Sounds

Narrated by Welsh actor Richard Harrington (The One That Got Away, Hinterland), the nine-part podcast Making of a Fugitive follows the stories of international fugitives who go to great lengths to try and stay hidden from the authorities. We'll hear stories of stolen identities, drastic plastic surgery and hair transplants, and the families who get left behind. The podcast starts with Martin Evans, a small town conman turned international fraudster and drug dealer who has been in and out of the headlines for nearly 30 years, named by police as one of the UK's 'most wanted' in 2012. Evans – aka the ostrich man – swindled investors out of almost a million pounds in an ostrich farm fraud in south Wales before going on to run an international drugs and money laundering operation. He fled from justice and even prison for five years until finally being captured. From one most wanted list to another, American conman Matt Cox came face to face with his own most wanted poster in a police station before making one of his many getaways. Cox evaded capture for almost a decade, committing bank fraud, identity theft and passport fraud, topping the FBI's most wanted list in the early 2000s. Describing his time on the run as 'awesome', self-proclaimed narcissist Matt Cox provides a first-hand account of his story, giving a unique insight into the extraordinary lengths he went to in order to stay one step ahead of the FBI. Cox said: 'I became infamous by committing bank fraud, I stole identities and created synthetic identities in order to borrow money from dozens of US banks. Ultimately the FBI came to arrest me and I went on the run. What I decided to do was start a much larger scam, I convinced the social security administration in the US to start issuing me social security numbers to children who don't exist. I would then order credit cards and build a false credit profile in those names. I think the amount ended up at $11.5 million.' And we discover what led to a businessman, Mohammed Ali Ege, becoming an international fugitive following the mistaken identity murder of a teenager in Cardiff 15 years ago. In an exclusive new interview, the podcast speaks to the family of murdered Aamir Siddiqi, who are still waiting for Wales' most wanted man to be brought to justice. Across nine episodes, Making of a Fugitive hears from the people involved and asks what happens when a fugitive is finally cornered? Are they sorry for what they've done, or just for getting caught? Series writer and producer for BBC Cymru Wales, Jayne Morgan, said: 'We thought we knew these stories having worked on them over the years but this podcast gives new insights and reveals the extraordinary lengths some go to in order to stay hidden.' Making of a Fugitive is a BBC Cymru Wales production for BBC Sounds. The first two episodes are available now, with the remaining seven episodes launching weekly.
