Hilary continued: "I know the efforts and conversations have been everywhere trying to make a reboot work but, sadly & despite everyone's best efforts, it isn't going to happen. 'I want any reboot of Lizzie to be honest and authentic to who Lizzie would be today. It's what the character deserves.' They said: "Before I could even get back to the hotel I went to the afterparty with, I guess my now ex, crazy thing to say, and was dumped in the party. "I was told that there are confused feelings there, do with that what you will, and they had realised in the house that I wasn't the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable." While, Avery was left equally bruised following her own split from JoJo. After striking up a friendship, the pair realised they had feelings for each other and became a couple. They went public with their romance in September 2022. The next month, Avery officially asked JoJo to be her girlfriend while on holiday in Orlando.
