Perth man predicted his huge Lotto win
Decades of dedication have paid off for one Perth resident who claimed a 'life-changing' division one Lotto prize on Saturday. The south of the river man — who purchased his ticket from Newstime Lottery Centre in the CBD — has been playing his favourite numbers for 30 years. After matching five winning numbers the weekend before, the man predicted he would win big in the next draw. 'I had a good feeling I might get six this weekend,' he said. The winner was still shocked to discover on Monday that he had won a massive $546,068. He said he will use his winnings to retire a little earlier and travel the country with his wife in 'probably a bit more luxurious caravan than (they) had initially planned'. Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the man was one of two WA division one winners on Saturday — with the second winner purchasing his ticket online.
