Andy Murray thanks Edinburgh fans after sold-out show in the capital
Andy Murray shared an update on social media and thanked his fans following his sold out performance at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
The tennis star took to the stage on June 19 as part of his UK Centre Stage tour where he shared stories from his sporting years, with 46 titles under his belt.
Throughout the dates in the capital, Glasgow and London, Murray was joined by a number of guests including Chris Hoy and his mum, Judy Murray.
He said: "Thank you Glasgow, Edinburgh and London for three great nights.
"A special thank you to @mrandrewcotter, @judymurray_, @leon.smithtennis, @chrishoy1 and @romeshranga for joining me.
"Looking forward to our last show at Wimbledon next week."
Hundreds of comments were left from fans sharing their thoughts on the show.
One person said: "Got my mother front row tickets for Edinburgh.. she said it was the best day of her life. Not sure how to take that."
A second added: "Had a great night at the Edinburgh show. Wonderful to revisit all these amazing times of your fantastic career."
"A fantastic night in Edinburgh, absolutely loved seeing and hearing all your stories", a third said.
Ahead of his Edinburgh show, he was spotted by locals in the city centre after he stopped for a coffee at St James Quarter.
The retired tennis champion posed up with fans around 2.45pm on June 19 leaving many starstruck. Some noted how "lovely" the 38-year-old was during the interactions.

One person who caught sight of the star said: "I was walking down from the St James Quarter when I saw a family taking a picture with someone, he walked past and I realised it was Andy Murray.
"He went up to get a coffee and someone who was in line next to him stopped me to say how lovely he was to him.
"It was crazy to see him walking about the streets of Edinburgh. I think he went down to the Playhouse after that."
We previously reported tickets sold out for the tour back in November. A number of fans were able to secure a seat, but hundreds were left disappointed after the quick sell out.
One fan said on X, formally known as Twitter: "Went online at exactly 10am for Edinburgh Playhouse tickets and was already 1723 in the queue.
"Sold out in about two minutes. Might need some more Scottish dates @andy_murray."

Aberdeen's Shinnie feeling ‘extremely grateful' on edge of 17th season
Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie is adamant he has no intention of winding down as he prepares to turn 34 on the day he kicks off his 17th season as a professional footballer. The midfielder is set to mark his birthday by leading out the Dons at Tynecastle for their William Hill Premiership opener at Hearts on Monday night. Shinnie, who made his senior debut for Inverness in August 2009, played 48 matches last term, including the full 120 minutes of the Reds' memorable Scottish Cup triumph over Celtic in May, and he is confident he still has 'many years left' at the top level of Scottish football. 'I'm extremely grateful to still be in this position, captain of a massive club at this age,' he said in a club interview. 'To still, first and foremost, be as healthy as I am and as fit as I am, I take a little bit of credit in that in how I've looked after my body and how I've done things over the years. But to still be here and be in this position, I'm extremely grateful. 'I still feel like I've got many years to go. You can't look too far into the future now, but last year I played a lot of games, I played a lot of minutes. 'I had next to no injuries. I had an infection in my leg, that was the only thing I had. It wasn't really an injury, I stayed away from injuries. 'I've made 300 appearances (for Aberdeen), I want to push on to 350. If I can make that, then push on to 400, keep striving for more. 'I'm still near the top of the fitness stats. As long as I stay away from injuries, which I've been pretty good for in my career, then I feel like I've got a lot more in the tank. 'I'm hungry for more success. I want to achieve as much as I can. So, yeah, season 17, hopefully it's the best season yet.' The Dons made a stunning start to last season before a dramatic form dip saw them finish fifth in the Premiership. After basking in the afterglow of their Scottish Cup glory day, Shinnie is intent on making sure his side are more consistent in the campaign ahead. 'The inconsistency was so bad for us last season, so we want to change that,' he said. 'We want to be more consistent throughout the season. And if we can do that, then it'll be a good season.' Gary Neville trolled by Salford City rivals after watching opening day defeat
Salford City endured a bad start to their League Two campaign as they were beaten 3-1 at home to Crewe Alexandra, who couldn't resist poking fun at the club's owner Gary Neville as he watched on with despair Gary Neville has been taunted by Salford City 's rivals Crewe Alexandra on social media after his side's opening day defeat this weekend. The Manchester United legend cut a glum figure on Saturday afternoon as his Salford side were dealt a 3-1 loss by Crewe at home in their first League Two clash of the season. Kadeem Harris' own goal had given the away side the lead in the eighth minute before he made up for his gaffe by getting Neville's men level moments later. But Crewe quickly took control of the game just before the half time interval as Conor Thomas netted a brace in the space of a few minutes. Salford could not stage a fight back after the break and Neville was seen looking downbeat in the stands as he was pictured inside the directors' box holding up a hand against the window. And Crewe couldn't resist teasing the former England defender as they posted the picture of Neville holding up his hand, showing five fingers, and writing: "Nah it was three Gary." The cheeky post went down a hit with football fans on Twitter as one joined in with the fun, adding: "Clearly saying it should have been five by half time." Another wrote: "Counting how many places off the bottom of the league they are," as a third said: "It should have been how many Gary?" Neville has been one of the owners of Salford since 2014, agreeing to purchase the club alongside fellow Class of 92 members David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and brother Phil - as well as businessman Peter Lim. However, Neville acquired Lim's stake in the club in 2024 and this year it was announced that only Neville and Beckham remained shareholders out of the Class of 92 legends following a takeover by a new ownership group. Neville has often shared pictures and videos of himself following Salford City and he left heartbroken last season after the team finished eighth - just one spot off the play-off places. Salford is one of many business interests Neville is invested in after starting the Hotel Football group in Manchester. He has also started an investment firm called Relentless, which has invested in restaurants and properties, and media group Buzz 16, which runs his Overlap podcast content.
