Rodrigo spent most of 2024 on the road, completing her world tour in support of sophomore album Guts. More than 1.4 million people attended her 95 shows, which collectively grossed $186.6 million — making it the highest-grossing tour by an artist born this century. (She'll be wrapping a few more shows in South America and England this spring and summer.) In October of last year, Rodrigo released the Guts World Tour film on Netflix, shapes around her hometown shows in Los Angeles.
'I get really nervous for the LA and New York shows because all my friends are there, and so having it be filmed was also just another element of nerve-wracking,' she told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. 'But it was really special to film that in my hometown. I think I wouldn't have it any other way. I have such a connection to LA, and LA has served as so much inspiration for me over the years. It felt serendipitous.
The FireAid event — hosted at neighboring arenas Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood — was broadcast internationally at select AMC Theatres, iHeartRadio, Apple Music, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Max, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube. The star-studded lineup included Lady Gaga, No Doubt, John Mayer, and more.

'The fact that my pregnancy got ruined by trolling — now, I guess, it's kind of funny and karmatic. But it just made me so upset.' In a follow-up TikTok, Paytas added: 'I know reincarnation theories about my babies are just a meme, it's just what the internet does, but I'm not gonna lie — being 12 days postpartum sometimes make you feel a little cookoo. I'm like, wait, why does the internet keep wanting to put souls into my baby? First of all, reincarnation is only one soul into one baby, if you believe in that. Second of all, you guys, I don't know much about reincarnation, I just know that the soul has to be passed along.' She admits that the Queen Elizabeth II jokes were 'kind of funny,' though she found the Pope Francis theories (she was pregnant with Aquaman when he died) less comedic. But more than anything, she said, 'It makes me sad, it makes me feel like I did something wrong.' The Osbourne jokes are even more uncomfortable for her. Lana Del Rey and Addison Rae Duet ‘Diet Pepsi' in London
Lana Del Rey invited Addison Rae to the stage during her U.K. and Ireland stadium tour on Thursday. The pair sang Rae's nostalgic 'Diet Pepsi,' her first official release last year on Columbia Records. The duo also sang '57.5,' the Spotify-featuring and unreleased song Del Rey debuted at Stagecoach in April. Latin Mafia, Omar Apollo Sing a Melancholic Cumbia on ‘Hecho Para Ti'
Omar Apollo's short-lived El Buki hair finally served a purpose. On Thursday, Latin Mafia released their flowy, sad boy cumbia 'Hecho Para Ti,' featuring vocals from Apollo, as they channeled the late Eighties and early Nineties in their video. The video captures retro, VHS-style footage of the Mexican trio performing the sad song with Apollo in a nightclub straight from your tío's album of photos from his bailador days. The video plays like a pixelated home video as Latin Mafia and Apollo perform, accompanied by a cumbia band. The performance visual is spliced with close-ups of the members of the band.
