Boss Shannon leaves Flint Mountain after three great seasons
The resignations of Shannon and his assistant Jonny Hill have been accepted by the Essity Stadium club on the back of three successful seasons in charge.
A statement on the club website read: "Aden and Jonny joined the club in the summer of 2022, following our promotion to the Ardal North West League.
"In their debut season, they guided the team to a commendable fourth-place finish. "Their second season was marked by remarkable success, with the club finishing as league champions and securing promotion to the JD Cymru North for the first time in our history.
"That same season also saw triumph in the NEWFA Challenge Cup, a runners-up finish in the Ardal Northern Cup, and an impressive run to the quarter-finals of the JD Welsh Cup.
"In our debut Cymru North campaign last season, the team achieved a strong seventh-place finish, securing Tier 2 football for the coming season.
"Flint Mountain Football Club extends its sincere gratitude to Aden and Jonny for their dedication, professionalism, and contribution to the club's continued progression. We wish them both every success in their future endeavours.
"Further announcements regarding the first team managerial position will follow in due course."

Opening Ardal League fixtures for next season are released
First up, Lex, who have made the step-up from the North East Wales League, pay a visit to Cefn Albion on Tuesday, July 29. On the same evening, Llangollen Town begin their tilt with a big derby clash at home to Corwen, while Penycae make the trip to Llanfair United. Rhos Aelwyd have a testing home encounter versus Llanuwchllyn to contend with. Lots of tasty ties are lined up in the Welsh League Cup
Mark Allen's side met the Saints in Welsh League Cup and Welsh Cup ties last season, and the clubs have been paired again at Park Hall in the second round of next season's League Cup. In another tasty encounter, Johnny Haseldin will take his Holywell Town side to Flint Town United, while Connah's Quay Nomads have been drawn away to Ruthin Town or Penrhyncoch. Gresford Athletic or Brickfield Rangers are faced with a trip to Llandudno, while Newtown will travel to the winners of the Holyhead Hotspur v Buckley Town tie. Mold Alex will play host to Bala Town if they can get through their first round test away to Guilsfield. Flint Mountain have a first round trip to Denbigh Town and the winners will travel to Rhyl 1879 or Caersws. In the only all-Cymru Premier League match-up, Caernarfon Town will host Colwyn Bay in the second round. Wildcard entries Cardiff City and Swansea City have been handed home first round encounters with Ammanford and Carmarthen Town respectively. First round ties will be played from July 18-20, with round two encounters between August 1 and 3.

I received some pretty bad news – Emma Raducanu emotional after Eastbourne win
Amid blustery conditions, the British number one, who missed last week's Berlin Open as she managed a back problem, resumed her Wimbledon preparations with a 6-7 (5) 6-3 6-1 success. Raducanu has been struggling with the issue since competing in Strasbourg before the French Open and took an off-court medical timeout during her quarter-final loss at Queen's Club earlier this month. But, aside from a slip and fall on the grass in set one, she came through her opening examination at Devonshire Park unscathed. The 2021 US Open champion produced an emotional response after sealing progression in two hours and 18 minutes with a fine backhand winner. Asked about her reaction, Raducanu, 22, replied: 'I received some pretty bad news, so I would like to keep it personal, if that's OK? 'But it was difficult, very emotional at the end and probably just a release of different emotions.' Raducanu's coach Mark Petchey and her Billie Jean King Cup team-mate Fran Jones were courtside for the match. Victory over world number 64 Li sets up a second-round clash with 19-year-old Australian Maya Joint, who knocked out two-time Wimbledon runner-up Ons Jabeur on Monday.
