Reality Steve Reveals 'Bachelor in Paradise' Prize Money Twist

Cosmopolitan08-07-2025
Bachelor in Paradise is back for Season 10, only this time there's a major twist. Said twist was teased last night during the premiere, when Jesse Palmer boldly declared that this season is "unlike anything you've ever seen before" and added that "in the end, we hope to offer our best and our strongest couples a life-changing opportunity."
So...what is the opportunity? Enter spoiler source Reality Steve.
According to Reality Steve, a couple things are different this season. First of all, there are no more standard rose ceremony eliminations, and instead they're doing some sort of "voting out process." As he put it, "I don't know if they vote as a twosome. I don't know if the twosomes vote separately, but it is a voting out of who is to leave the game next."
But the most major change is there appears to be some sort of financial compensation at the end of the show. Per Steve, "I think it is safe to say that the winning twosome this year does get paid. Now the question is how much do they make? What I've gathered is, it's more than Love Island, which I believe is 100-150 [thousand]. So there is going to be a winning team of Bachelor Paradise this summer, and they will get paid what that number is."
Honestly, love that the show is attempting to stay competitive with other reality shows airing this summer, ahem!

Jalen Brunson reveals what roommate and fellow Knick Josh Hart's ‘Real Housewives' tagline would be

Jalen Brunson and fellow New York Knicks star Josh Hart are keeping it real – off the court. The New York Knicks superstars, Villanova alums and former roommates, have electrified the Big Apple, leading the Knickerbockers to the Eastern Conference Finals in June, the first time since 2000, and now they're game to talk reality TV. In their offseason podcast 'Roommates Show,' Brunson and Hart channel their inner 'Real Housewives' and get into a heated discussion on reality TV show 'Love Island.' 'Josh's 'Real Housewives' tagline would be, 'I'm just vibing,' that would be his tagline,' Brunson told The Post of the shooting guard whom he played college basketball with for two seasons during the 2016 NCAA national championship at Villanova. 8 In their offseason podcast 'Roommates Show,' Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart channel their inner 'Real Housewives' dishing on reality TV. In the last episode of their podcast, Hart, Brunson and their college roommate and co-host Matt Hillman unpacked their affinity for the reality competition (Spoiler alert: Hart is not a super fan). 'I'm kinda watching it and I'm also on my phone,' he said on the last podcast episode Thursday, confessing 'I'm not really a fan of anyone in particular. I rocked with Taylor [Chmelka]. Then America kicked him off because there was haters.' 'I don't watch reality shows,' Hart admitted to The Post (Brunson called him out as a 'weirdo' for it). 8 Brunson, who grew up in New Brunswick, New Jersey, told The Post 'The Jersey Shore,' is still the GOAT [greatest of all time] in his book. 'My favorite reality show of all time, possibly one of my favorite shows,'' Burnson revealed 'I could watch that on repeat.' The point guard, listens to Justin Bieber as his pre-game routine, a tradition that started when he played ball back at Villanova, which he's said leads him to win. He also said he can't stop listening to a particular song off of Bieber's new album, 'Swag.' 8 Brunson, who listens to Justin Bieber as his pre-game routine, told The Post he's been loving Justin Bieber's new album: 'The first song right now is probably my favorite. The show will feature two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, comedy legend Ben Stiller, and a musical performance by Ferg at the block party that mixes hoops and music. Thousands of Knicks fans are expected to gather, harkening back the energy that powered the city back in March during playoffs. 'Everything about the season was fantastic, obviously ending short was the only downfall of it. The love we got, everything that had to do with the season, the fans, was so appreciated. My favorite part of the whole thing was the fan interaction, but in Boston the streets were flooded. It was a really cool sight to see. When we're playing well the energy is electric,' Brunson said. 8 Brunson and Hart electrified the Big Apple, leading the Knickerbockers to the Eastern Conference Finals in June, the first time since 2000, and now they're game to talk reality TV. Getty Images Dream podcast guests? They have big players in mind. 'Someone like Denzel [Washington] would be the dream guest,' Hart told The Post. 'The Roommates' podcast, they said, is a chance for them to call the shots on topics they want to be unfiltered about. 'There's so many narratives that take place in the media, this is one way we can control our narrative about the topics we want to talk about,' Brunson told The Post. 8 Brunson said of the Knicks fandom: 'Everything about the season was fantastic, obviously ending short was the only downfall of it. Still, Hart says not everything is an open book. 'There's definitely stuff that is off limits – normally we say things that come to mind and have fun with it. Somehow 75% of the things I say get edited out unfortunately. They try to mute me a little bit,' Hart joked. 8 Hart (left) joked to The Post of the 'Roommates Show' podcast Somehow 75% of the things I say get edited out unfortunately. Charles Wenzelberg / New York Post Brunson and Hart helped pick the number one over FaceTime, and a day later New York beat the Pacers, ending Indiana's series lead to 2-1 games. 'It's an amazing feeling. It's really cool to be involved in that,' Brunson said. 'It was cool, at the same time it was weird. It's a blessing to have that kind of love around the city.'

Love Island 2025 Grafties results: Who did the public vote for?

Love Island's official award ceremony the Grafties are back! And wow are they back with a vengeance as tonight's episode got intense, and we've got all the winner results here. The awards showcase some of the biggest moments in the Villa, revealing hidden conversations, unspoken moments and savage commentary from the Love Islanders about each other. The clips of these scenes were played on Instagram for the public to vote a few days ago and in tonight's episode the Islanders were played the clips and the winners were revealed. And here's everything you need to know about who won in the 2025 Love Island Grafties. The nominees were: Dejon, Helena, and Conor The winner is: Dejon Dejon was voted for by the public as the winner of the 'Eat, Sleep, Crack on Repeat' award, which showed a series of clips of him flirting with teh various bombshells that entered the Villa including Toni, Billykiss, and Andrada. When accepting his award Dejon said he was just a fan of "beautiful women" and was glad to have a girlfriend as beautiful as Meg. He said: "I think that beauty comes in all different shapes, sizes and ethnicities. And yeah I'm glad that my girlfriend is outrageously beautiful inside and out. Thanks for the award guys." The nominees were: Dejon and Helena, Toni and Shakira, and Helena and Meg The winner is: Toni and Shakira Toni and Shakira were awarded best double act but before they received the award, they also received some serious heat. During the clips that were played of them, the pair were seen talking negatively about Meg, following movie night. Meg expressed how hurt she was by the girls comments, and went onto claim she hadn't said anything bad about them, and that she supported the girls when they were down. Toni and Shakira also called out Harry and Dejon, with Shakira calling them the "most crazy manipulative men". Toni was then heard saying: "I don't want to have a conversation with any of these people," and Shakira added: "I hate them all." The islanders were shocked to hear what the girls had previously said and Dejon went onto defend Meg. Meg went onto say she felt Shakira and Toni were "fake to her face" and Toni then rebutted saying: "So are you. You act like you never say a bad thing about anyone." Toni then recalled the moment Meg had previously made fun of the way Toni and Shakira walked down the corridor. Meg was then seeing getting tearful and whispering to Angel and Ty, "I don't want to give them the time of day." Toni and Shakira then accepted their award, with Shakira saying: "We said what we said, it was after Movie Night. I don't know why it's so surprising, we had a scrap that night." The nominees were: Harry, Jamie and Harry & Angel The winner is: Harry and Angel After being two out of the three nominees it was perhaps unsurprising that Harry won this award. A series of clips were played of Harry and Angel being very flirty with each other after she entered the show as a late bombshell. The Islanders watched on in stunned silence, with Helena looking downcast at Harry's behaviour. Harry then expressed his confusion at their reactions saying, "I'm not sure what I really need to say on that? I don't think a bit of flirting really hurts to be honest." He then turned and asked Helena: "Do you agree?" She then replied: "You said you were flirty in the chats, but you lay it on thick don't you?" Helena then said how stupid she felt she looked as one of the clips showed her walking over to Harry while he was deep in flirting mode with Angel. Harry said he only gave Angel an eight out of 10 in the kissing challenge, to which Helena reminded him he also gave her that score. He defended himself and said: "Eight out of 10, that's like 80 per cent good." Harry and Angel then went to collect their award, and Harry said: "I wouldn't' really say I'm the flirtiest performer but I accept the award nevertheless. I think for me that was pretty harmless flirting, there's levels to go from that." Angel ended their speech by saying: "Cheers to no more flirting." The nominees are: Emma and Harry, Conor and Megan, and Shakira and Harry The winner is: TBA The nominees are: Cach, Shakira and Toni The winner is: TBA The nominees are: Dejon, Harry and Toni and Shakira The winner is: TBA The rest of the Grafties will air in tomorrow's night episode. Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX

Random Celebrity Couples and What They Can Teach Us About Love

Sia, the Grammy winner, and Harry Jowsey, the Netflix reality dating show veteran, were spotted hand in hand this past weekend—and thus immediately entered my unofficial list of 2025's most unforeseen celebrity couples. While the two later clarified that the pap walk was just promo for Harry's latest onscreen dating venture, Let's Marry Harry, it didn't stop online commentators from comparing their "relationship" to others in this year's string of wildly unpredictable celebrity romances. For example, the inescapable saga that is 22-year-old singer JoJo Siwa and 32-year-old Love Island alum Chris Hughes' relationship. There are plenty of surprising elements about that particular origin story (they met on Celebrity Big Brother UK, while JoJo was *technically* in a relationship), but one of its main talking points is just how random it feels. There's the age gap, the fact that JoJo was exclusively dating women prior, and how JoJo and Chris seem to exist in such separate spheres of culture. Almost like rapper Tyga and Riverdale star Madeleine Petsch, who also debuted their relationship this year. Or even Zoe Kravitz and Noah Centineo, who were spotted holding hands earlier this year. It's not that these stars are "random" in their own right. It's that, when paired together, you can't imagine they'd have much in common. At least, based on what we, the public, know about them. I find a lot of joy in imagining the everyday logistics these seemingly mismatched couples navigate But it's also forced me to reflect on the value of dating outside your usual circle. Before anyone accuses me of overanalyzing celebrity relationships (ones potentially orchestrated by crafty PR teams), hear me out. Modern dating culture has become overly reliant on types and algorithms. Look at all the dating apps that brag about their ability to deliver your so-called "perfect match." As humans, we're naturally reluctant to pursue relationships where cultural differences might lead to misunderstandings and conflicts from the outset. Stepping outside our race, income bracket, or immediate social circle requires an effort many aren't willing to make. However, matchmaker Maria Avgitidis, author of the bestseller Ask A Matchmaker and CEO of Agape Match, suggests this could be the very key to forming deeper connections. 'When you date someone outside your usual circle, you get a fresh perspective and often, a stronger connection rooted in values, not status,' she says. 'You're not following a script. It's less about Do we look good on paper? and more about Do we actually work together? That kind of dynamic can be surprisingly grounding.' The way that fans (including myself) respond to 'random' celebrity pairings often reveals their own personal reservations. 'People project all kinds of fantasies onto celebrities, and when they date someone unexpected or someone with less fame or status, it disrupts that fantasy,' says Avgitidis."There's also a lot of classism, ageism, and jealousy. People don't like being reminded that chemistry doesn't follow a formula.' To be fair, some backlash is valid, especially when rooted in informed critiques of potentially problematic age gap relationships. But that's when we should use case-by-case discernment instead of resorting to immediate judgment. 'A 10-year age gap when someone is 35? Fine,' says Avgitidis. 'But when one person is 21 and the other is in their 30s, I'd say proceed with caution. The brain isn't even fully developed at 21, and there's usually a power imbalance.' But if we can learn anything from pairs like JoJo and Chris, or Sia and Harry (real or not) it's to keep an open mind about partners your friends (or fans) might consider out of left field. 'Ask yourself: Are your preferences authentic, or just familiar? A lot of people confuse compatibility with sameness. But the best relationships often come from complementing each other, not cloning each other. Expand your circle. You don't need to marry your mirror image.'
