Charges filed against three arrested in connection with shooting at Collective
Terrance Britton, 25, Malcome Barnes, 24, and Ahoneste Walker, 23, were charged with using a vehicle to facilitate a shooting and nine counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Barnes and Britton also face charges of third-degree arson and destroying evidence.
The shooting ― which seriously wounded four people and injured at least five more ― occurred outside the food hall in Oklahoma City's Midtown, where people had gathered for a Cinco de Mayo celebration and to watch an Oklahoma City Thunder playoff game against the Denver Nuggets.
'Midtown is a bustling social area, and people should feel safe going to Midtown with their friends and families,' said Oklahoma County District Attorney Vicki Behenna, whose office announced the charges Friday. 'Gun violence in the streets of Midtown, or anywhere else in Oklahoma County, will not be tolerated by my office.'

Police responded to the shooting shortly after 10:40 p.m. on May 5. According to arrest affidavits written by police, a fight had broken out between Walker and other patrons just minutes beforehand outside the restaurant.
As detailed in the affidavits, detectives learned from shooting victims that Walker was heard calling Britton, her boyfriend, over the phone, claiming that she had been jumped and that "she was going to have her man come over and shoot the spot up."
About five minutes after the phone call, Britton pulled up in a red Hyundai Sonata with Barnes, and shots were fired at the crowd, according to the affidavits.
Court filings also show that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Moore and was later found burned near Interstate 240 Service Road just west of Bryant Avenue on May 7.

Police said Britton was arrested after a traffic violation in Moore on May 12. He had already been in violation of his probation after pleading guilty in 2024 to assault and battery with a deadly weapon and was taken into federal custody May 23, according to jail officials.
Jail records show that Barnes and Walker also were arrested June 3. They were both being held in the Oklahoma County jail on $1 million bonds as of June 14. Attorneys were not listed in online court records for any of the three charged in the case.

In September of 2022, Tyler Boebert flipped his father's SUV into a creek, leaving the person in his passenger seat with multiple concussions and a severely lacerated hand. He was ticketed for careless driving. The case was eventually dropped down to a 'defective vehicle for headlights' ticket under a plea deal. Then, in January 2024, he called the police to report that his father, Jayson, was assaulting him, leading to his arrest. During the incident, Jayson allegedly 'pushed Tyler to the ground and pushed his thumb into his mouth,' according to the arrest affidavit. A month later, Tyler was slapped with more than a dozen felony charges for a series of thefts from vehicles – and for using stolen credit cards at local gas stations. Tyler Boebert pleaded guilty last October to a single charge of attempting to commit identity theft and was given a two-year deferred judgment, allowing his felony to be cleared from his record after completing his 24-month probation term. He was required to complete 80 hours of community service and was banned from using controlled substances. It was not immediately clear whether the most recent citation would be a breach of his probation. He is due in Weld County Court on September 8. Lauren Boebert did not immediately return The Independent's request for comment.

A prayer service held for a mother and two children killed in a shooting incident in Co Fermanagh has been told that 'we cannot rationalise what should never have taken place'. Vanessa Whyte, 45, a vet originally from Co Clare, her son James, 14, and daughter Sara, 13, were killed in a suspected triple murder and attempted suicide at a house in Maguiresbridge on Wednesday morning. Ms Whyte was originally from Barefield, a village near Ennis in Co Clare. Hundreds of people attended the prayer service, which took place in Barefield on Sunday evening. Parish priest Fr Tom Fitzpatrick said that Ms Whyte was a woman who loved her children 'fiercely', and wanted the best for them. He described how she worked hard and laughed a lot, and carried burdens 'we may never fully understand'. Fr Fitzpatrick added: 'Vanessa Whyte and her son James and daughter Sara, the unspeakable tragedy that has befallen our parish is something that is very hard to focus in on and get our minds around. 'But we're here, and that's the main thing. And we are here as well, not just praying for the three of them tonight in a very special way, and asking the Lord to take them to himself, that they be at peace. And I know they are. 'We're also here to remember and be a support for (Vanessa's mother) Mary and her family, and the siblings. They're at home tonight, they decided not to come. It might be easier for themselves, and for ourselves here too, maybe if they were just looking in online from home. 'So we're thinking of them in a very special way. Tonight we come to remember Vanessa and to hold Vanessa's family.' Three candles representing Ms Whyte, James and Sara sat on the altar. Those gathered were told that she was a woman who 'gave and gave'. 'Vanessa was a mother. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunty and a great friend to so many people,' Fr Fitzpatrick added. 'She was a woman who loved her children fiercely she wanted the best for them. She worked hard, and she laughed a lot, and she carried burdens that we may never ever fully understand. 'Her life was incredibly precious. James and Sara, young lives just beginning, so full of promise, so loved, so full of light, they've been taken away from this world all too soon in a violent way. 'We just find it impossible, my dear friends, to make sense of any of it. We cannot rationalise what should never have taken place, what we can do is remember the pain that we feel now, that pain is borne out of love. 'If we didn't love Vanessa, and so many of you would have known her, and if we didn't love her children, we wouldn't be grieving. This heartbreak is the price we pay for love, but it is also love in itself that will help Vanessa's family and all of us indeed, to carry it over the weeks and months to come. 'Mary, I know you're at home and you're listening. She was Vanessa's beloved mother, and her grief is a very deep ocean indeed. 'No mother should ever have to endure this. And yet, Mary, I know, will find herself surrounded by people who care deeply. 'She will meet them over the next number of days. These same people, all of us here, will stand beside her, not just during these dark days, but in the days and the weeks to come as well.' 'I would continue to appeal generally for anyone with information to come forward, and more specifically, I would ask anyone who saw a silver Mercedes saloon car being driven in the Clones Road area of Newtownbutler, or between Maguiresbridge and Newtownbutler, on the evening of Tuesday July 22 to call detectives on 101, quoting reference 276 23/07/25. 'Anyone who was travelling in the area and who may have captured dashcam footage which could assist, please get in touch.' The man who remains in a serious condition in hospital was a member of the same household, the PSNI said.

Trump's CIA chief teases critical new evidence in long-running Russiagate 'hoax'
CIA Director John Ratcliffe suggested Sunday that the statute of limitations would not likely interfere with prosecutions against key figures implicated in Russiagate, telling "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo that some testimonies that propelled the Trump-Russia collusion narrative occurred within the last five years. He also hinted at more evidence to come. "John Brennan testified to John Durham in August of 2020. He also testified to the House Oversight Committee in 2022. Hillary Clinton testified before John Durham under oath in 2022. James Comey testified before the Senate Committee in September 2020. "All of that's within the last five years and much of that testimony is frankly completely inconsistent with what our underlying intelligence that is about to be declassified in the Durham Annex [reflects]," he said, teasing the release of the "classified annex" of the John Durham report. Ratcliffe said that intelligence will showcase intent to accelerate the Steele Dossier into intelligence community assessments and as the basis for Crossfire Hurricane. The "Steele Dossier" was authored by ex-British intelligence officer Christopher Steele and was funded by Clinton's presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee through the law firm Perkins Coie. Bartiromo pressed on, asking Ratcliffe to clarify whether there is still an opportunity for indictments, potential prosecutions and "accountability" for Brennan, Comey and Clinton, to which he replied, "That's why I've made the referrals that I have." "DNI Gabbard has made referrals. And we're going to continue to share the intelligence that would support the ability of our Department of Justice to bring fair and just claims against those who have perpetrated this hoax against the American people and this stain on our country." A spokesperson for Clinton did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment in time for publication. Comey and Brennan did not respond to Fox News Digital's prior requests for comment regarding the Trump administration's accusations. Former prosecutor Andy McCarthy told Fox News last week that following through on legal action against former President Barack Obama, who was also mentioned by name in the accusations brought forth by the Trump administration, would be a tall order. "The scandal here... is they had a legitimate reason to investigate Russia's meddling in the election and what they did was they used that as a pretext to basically investigate Trump to spy on his presidency and to try to make him an ineffective president," McCarthy told "Fox & Friends" last Thursday. "That's why it's a terrible political dirty trick," he continued. "The issue again is… is it prosecutable? And I just don't see it." Former President Obama dismissed the Trump administration's claims with a statement. Congressional Democrats have also railed against the claims. Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., a ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, for instance, criticized Gabbard's claims as "baseless." Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, accused Gabbard of "weaponizing her position to amplify the president's election conspiracy theories."
