I've lost one too many pairs of expensive solid gold jewelry while traveling that I forced myself to find cheap hoops that I could bear losing before my next trip (if it came to that). I settled on these about a year ago and haven't looked back. They come in around $15 and look strikingly similar to pairs that I have that cost more than $200. Since they're chunky I was expecting them to be heavy on the ear, but they're light as can be and they've shockingly held up well despite not really caring for them at all.
