Criterion Announces New Box Set of Wes Anderson's First 10 Features
Anderson himself approved the 20-disc collection which also has special edition features ranging from essays by Martin Scorsese, Richard Brody, James L. Brooks, Bilge Ebiri, Moeko Fujii, Kent Jones, Dave Kehr, Geoffrey O'Brien, and Erica Wagner, as well as more than 25 hours of bonus content including audio commentaries, interviews, documentaries, deleted scenes, auditions, short films, home movies, commercials, storyboards, animation tests, archival recordings, still photography, discussions, analysis, and visual essays.

The collection will have new 4K digital masters of 'Bottle Rocket,' 'Rushmore,' 'The Royal Tenenbaums,' 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,' 'The Darjeeling Limited,' 'Fantastic Mr. Fox,' 'Moonrise Kingdom,' 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' 'Isle of Dogs,' and 'The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun.' The 4K transfer was supervised by Anderson, with 5.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks. The 4K UHD discs of the films are presented in Dolby Vision HDR. The collection will be released September 30.

'KPop Demon Hunters' Breaks All-Time Record
Netflix announced on Tuesday that KPop Demon Hunters has broken an all-time record. According to the popular streaming service, the wildly popular animated film is now the most-watched original animated film in Netflix history. The movie, released on June 20, stars Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop and Ken Jeong. It's rated PG and is one hour and 35 minutes long. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the animated flick has been well-received by audiences and critics alike. The Tomatometer (critics) score sits at 97% (58 reviews), while the Popcornmeter (audiences) score is at 92% (4.5 out of 5 stars) with a whopping 2,500-plus ratings. "When they aren't selling out stadiums, K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat," a description of the film from Rotten Tomatoes reads. "Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet — an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise." "In the hands of directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, it's a(n) endearing, beautifully animated crowd-pleaser with a dorkily sincere love for the pop culture phenomena it embeds itself in," Wilson Chapman of IndieWire said. On IMDB, the film has garnered a 7.8 out of 10 after over 40,000 ratings. "K-pop" is short for Korean pop music and is a genre that originates from South Korea but has become popular around the globe, according to "Characterized by its catchy melodies, high-production value, visually stunning choreography, and an array of talented artists, K-pop is more than just music — it's a cultural phenomenon," the website adds. Austral Gold's Chief Executive Officer, Stabro Kasaneva, said: "We are pleased with the progress on the refurbishment of the Casposo Plant in Argentina, with commissioning targeted for August 2025. In parallel, our independent consultant continues to advance a technical report prepared that complies with NI 43-101 and JORC 2012 standards to assess the feasibility of processing Casposo's own mineralised material. We remain on track to commence toll processing in November 2025 under the Toll Processing Agreement ("the Agreement") with ASX-listed Challenger Gold." Refurbishment Plant Overview Most of the key activities scheduled for Q2 2025 have been completed, with the remainder underway and expected to be finalised in the first half of August, ahead of commissioning. Status of Q2 2025 planned activities: Primary crusher refurbishment: Completed (Figure 1). SAG mill relining: Underway; expected to be completed with recently arrived materials.
