NTT Data And Mistral To Develop Enterprise-Grade AI Solutions
The companies will combine NTT DATA's comprehensive GenAI and IT services portfolio, global delivery capabilities, industry expertise and trusted client relationships with Mistral AI's solutions and advanced generative AI models, which are recognized for their efficiency, performance and enterprise empowerment.
Initial focus areas include: Sustainable and Secure AI Co-Development: The companies will develop sustainable and highly secure private AI solutions for organizations in regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, defense and public sector. The companies will provide end-to-end solutions from infrastructure to business processes powered by AI applications for clients operating on private clouds. AI-Driven Innovation for IT Infrastructure & Customer Experience: The companies will pioneer the integration of Mistral AI technologies into NTT DATA's customer experience platforms, beginning with agentic AI call center solutions in Europe and Asia Pacific. Joint projects could include co-development of LLMs for specific languages, which will further AI innovation tailored to local markets and specialized needs. Go-To-Market Expansion: NTT DATA and Mistral AI will jointly develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of countries including France, Luxembourg, Spain, Singapore and Australia. End-to-end AI services will range from use-case development and customization to implementation, support and managed services. Dedicated sales teams will be assigned to address key client needs and priorities.
To drive innovation and implementation excellence, NTT DATA will establish a Mistral AI Center of Excellence staffed with subject matter experts and dedicated resources. In addition, Mistral AI will launch a technical enablement and certification program for NTT DATA personnel.

In one of the first joint projects, Dennemeyer, a leading full-service global provider for intellectual property (IP) management, has chosen Mistral AI and NTT DATA to develop an AI-driven application for advanced patent searches and analyses, bringing the technical layers to securely run AI workloads.'Dennemeyer continues to be a driving force in the digital transformation of the IP industry; a key aspect of this is strong partnerships with organizations like Mistral AI and NTT DATA, who bring a deep technical understanding of AI and its integration into business processes,' said Brochmann Laurent, Global Chief Digital Officer, Dennemeyer.
In another early effort, NTT DATA Luxembourg and Mistral AI will co-develop a sovereign platform in Luxembourg for clients in the regulated financial services and insurance industries.

Mistral AI and NTT Data to develop secure enterprise products
NTT Data and Mistral AI have formed an agreement to develop secure products aimed at enterprises, with a focus on serving sectors requiring high levels of privacy and security. NTT noted the partnership would benefit from combining its existing offerings in IT services and client relationships with Mistral's advanced AI models. Together they plan to co-develop 'sustainable and secure' private AI products for highly regulated segments. Potential target markets include insurance, the public sector, defence and financial services. For these customers, the partners aim to 'provide end-to-end solutions from infrastructure to business processes powered by AI applications for clients operating on private clouds'. Another work area is for advanced customer service platforms. The two are set to integrate Mistral's AI technology into NTT's existing range, starting with its agentic AI call centre systems in Europe and APAC. The final priority cited by the two is 'go-to-market expansion' where they will develop specific strategies for target countries including France, Luxembourg, Spain, Singapore and Australia. As part of their new relationship NTT plans to establish a Mistral AI centre of excellence, while its partner will launch a technical enablement and certification programme for the IT services company's staff. NTT Data CEO Abhijit Dubey said it would 'bring trustworthy, impactful AI to market' with its partner noting the combination can 'assure secure, scalable and sustainable deployments for enterprises across the globe'. The agency received the 3G Leadership Award in Sustainability Governance and the 3G ESG Championship Award – with both accolades affirming its commitment to world-class environmental excellence and integrity, transparency and responsible 3G Leadership Award in Sustainability Governance recognises outstanding organisations that have demonstrated leadership in corporate governance, upheld ethical standards, and championed integrity, fairness, and accountability. It also honours a commitment to environmental and social responsibility through sustainable practices, governance codes, and transparency in reporting. The agency's longstanding commitment to these pillars was key to its awards were presented during the 10th annual 3G Awards Ceremony, held in Brunei as part of the 3G Summit, which brought together more than 200 participants from around the world. UAE Tech Leaders View Cloud & GenAI Transformation As Top Business Priorities: Coursera-AWS Report
A majority of UAE technology leaders identify cloud (93%) and Generative AI (GenAI) (89%) transformation as top business priorities over the next three years, recognizing both as foundational to future growth. That's according to new research from leading global online learning platform Coursera, developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Titled From Cloud to AI: How Tech Leaders are Investing in Skills Development to Drive Transformation, the report offers key insights into how organizations and their senior technology leaders are strategically addressing skills gaps to meet their digital transformation goals. Core findings show that UAE tech leaders view keeping pace with technology (61%) and staying ahead of security threats (60%) as the most critically important drivers of skills development. Optimizing cloud spend (59%) and managing complex infrastructures (52%) were also cited as major concerns, underscoring the urgent need for a skilled workforce. Kais Zribi, Coursera's General Manager for the Middle East and Africa, said: 'While automation is vital to transforming teams, workflows, and business operations, the UAE data reveal that strategic investments in human capital through upskilling and reskilling will be crucial to driving innovation. As organizations look to fully harness the potential of cloud and AI, investing equally in technology and people will be foundational to building a future-ready workforce. 'This report delivers a clear mandate for technology leaders: investing in skills development must be a cornerstone of every transformation strategy.' The report also highlights that 95% of tech leaders worldwide view cloud transformation as a key business goal. Globally, foundational skills are prioritized, with 63% ranking cloud skills, such as cloud development and engineering, as the most critical, followed by data (58%) and cybersecurity (54%). AI skills rank fourth, with 47% identifying them as important over the next three years. Globally, tech leaders report clear benefits from investing in skills development, including enhanced performance and productivity (72%), greater workforce agility (67%), and improved talent mobility (58%). More than half (52%) of global tech leaders expect 30-50% of tasks to be automated. Nearly all (99%) anticipate their codebases will be partially AI-generated or developed with AI assistance in the next three years, with 86% expecting 20-50% of their codebase to involve AI in its creation. Yet, 88% believe human contributions remain irreplaceable, emphasizing that AI success depends on greater investment in talent development. In fact, 77% of leaders globally recognize that upskilling existing employees will be essential to achieving transformation goals within the next 12 to 18 months. The global study was conducted across the US, the UK, India, the UAE, France, and Mexico between March and April 2025. It captures insights from more than 750 technology leaders responsible for large-scale digital transformation initiatives at organizations with over 1,000 employees and average annual revenues exceeding US$100 million (with UAE-based companies averaging US$21.6 billion).
