As a sleep writer I've tested my fair share of mattresses; some feel designed for my body and some I can't wait to get off my bed frame. But the mattress I always return to is the Simba Earth Escape, and this luxury organic mattress is now up to 20% off at Simba.
First of all, while it sounds like sleeping on the job, our mattress review process is thorough and objective. Every option in our guide to the best mattresses you can buy online has been put through its paces.
So when I tell you the Simba Earth Escape is one of our top recommended mattresses, you'll understand that this supportive and luxurious organic hybrid had to work hard for its place.
I think this mattress is worth the premium price tag but I understand not everyone can invest — which is why I'm so excited by this mattress sale...
Simba Earth Escape Mattress: double was $1,699 now $1,359.20 at SimbaThe Simba Earth Escape has nine internal layers, including multiple layers of wool cushioning, two layers of microsprings and a dense coil base. More layers doesn't necessarily mean a better build — some of our favorite hybrid mattress have just three or four — but the Simba uses its complex build to create a responsive and supportive bed. In our Simba Earth Escape Hybrid Mattress review we found the firmer support best for back and stomach sleepers. Simba mattress sales are infrequent but right now you can save up to 20% on the Earth Escape, reducing a king to $1,403.22 (was $1,799.) It's pricey but we described this bed as a "stunning sustainable hybrid mattress" and a 10-year guarantee, 200-night sleep trial and free in-room deliver and set-up are included.

DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress: single £375 at DreamCloud UKIn our DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress review we described this affordable mattress as great at "relieving aches and pains" with a medium-firm feel that suits most sleep styles (and back sleepers in particular.) It lacks the eco-credentials of the Earth Escape but while its not quite as indulgent as the Simba, it's surprisingly luxurious for the price tag. DreamCloud mattress sales run year-round and at just £525 for a queen and £599 for a king, this mattresses is fantastic value for money. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee and 365-night trial but only standard delivery is included.

I put Amazon's bestselling £7 pillow to the test and love it — but this is the pillow I'd shop instead this Prime Day

I had little to no expectations when trying the Amazon bestselling Adam Pillow but it really did check all the right boxes. The £7 pillow was plush, medium-firm and supportive for my combination-sleeping style (side and back). However, if you're struggling with summer heat like I am, go for the Simba Hybrid Pillow, now 20% off for Prime day. While testing some of the best pillows of 2025, I understood that temperature regulation and breathability are core performance indicators, especially when recommending options for hot sleepers or anyone who struggles with night sweats. Yes, the Adam Home Pillow may be affordable, but it's unlikely to match up to the specialised cooling elements in the Simba Hybrid. Need to make the most of the final day of the sale? Head to our Amazon Prime Day bedding deals, where we track the latest discounts as they drop. But first, here's more info on the Simba so you can make an informed decision… Simba Hybrid Pillow: was £109 now £87 at AmazonThe Simba Hybrid Pillow stands out in the market with its plush yet supportive fill, made with recycled polyester fibres and a contouring inner core layer filled with Nanocubes: soft CertiPUR foam cubes. Hot sleepers will love the Stratos cool-to-touch soft cover which means "no more flipping to find the cool side of the pillow". It also features an open mesh design on the sides to promote better airflow. You can now find the Simba Hybrid Pillow at 20% off in the Prime Day sale, taking the price of a standard size down from £109 to £87. User score: ★★★★½ (based on 1K+ Amazon reviews) One of our testers went hands-on the Simba Hybrid pillow, and found it to be comfortable for her combination-sleeping style (side and back). The fully adjustable fill allows you to customise the feel according to your sleeping preferences, which means it is suitable for all positions (side, front or back). All you need to do is add or remove the foam and fiber fill until you achieve the desired loft and firmness (Simba even provides a bag for storing excess fill). This makes it suitable for most sleepers. Adam Home Pillow: standard pack from £16.99 from £12.99 at AmazonCrafted from a plush down-alternative fill, the Adam pillow has a medium-firm support which will suit most sleeping styles. It comes in a quilted cotton and polyester outer cover filled with 3-D hallowfiber for enhanced comfort and cushioning. The brand also state that it's designed to promote airflow and be breathable, but it's unlikely to be as effective as an actively cooling pillow like the Simba Hybrid. You can now find a pack of standard pillows at 24% off which drops the RRP from £16.99 to £12.99.

Cooling bedding is not cheap, but you can now find this Bawbaw Bamboo fitted sheet for up to 15% which reduces the price for a double from £40.99 to £34.80. 3. Meaco 1056 Air Circulator: from £104.99 from £99.99 at AmazonIf you don't have one, I recommend investing in a cooling fan this summer. This one from Meaco store is one of the Amazon top-sellers, with an average rating of 4,5 stars from over 6,400 reviews. It is powerful (delivering up to 1056 cubic metres of airflow per hour according to the brand), noiseless, energy efficient and easily portable complete with a chic faux leather handle. Plus you can also make your own budget aircon at home by placing an ice pack in front of the fan, which can serve as an easy hack to survive hot and humid nights. Newgo Cooling Eye Mask: was from £8.59 now from £5.98 at AmazonGive cooling comfort to your eyes to reduce strain, stress and dryness due to the summer heat. Made from gel beads, this eye mask can simply be popped into the fridge and then placed for 20 minutes on your eyes at a time for a relaxed soothing sensation, which will help you drift off faster. Simba Body Pillow: was £109 now £87.20 at AmazonCan't sleep with a duvet due to overheating, but still need some coverage? Grab yours now at 20% off, which drops the price from £109 to £87.20. 7.
