Rohit Purohit and Sheena Bajaj tied the knot in January 2019 after dating for six years. They announced their pregnancy in April this year.
Rohit Purohit, popularly known for playing Armaan Poddar in the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is expecting his first child with wife Sheena Bajaj. As the couple embarks on this next exciting chapter in their lives, they have achieved a new significant milestone before embracing parenthood. Rohit and Sheena have purchased their new apartment in Mumbai.
Taking to Instagram, Sheena shared a few pictures from her new house's Griha Pravesh ceremony and wrote in the caption, 'Need your blessings, prayers and love in this journey. Please give your positivity and strength #toughtimes need prayers."
In the snapshots, the parents-to-be are seen twinning in green traditional attire. While Rohit opted for a Kurta, his wife wore a matching saree. The actor, too, shared a few pictures from the Puja ceremony along with his family members and close friends on Instagram stories.
Fans and admirers were quick to shower their good wishes on the couple for their new beginnings. An Instagram user commented, 'Lots of love to both of you, beautiful couple stay blessed and positive." Another one wrote, 'Congratulations guys." One of them shared, 'God bless you both, lots of love and happiness in your life."
In a recent interview with HT City, the soon-to-be parents talked about their new house, which they have affectionately named Aashiyana. 'When we settled on this house in August of last year, everything began to fall into place for us. Our hope of having a kid came true within a few months of purchasing the house," Sheena said.
'I've been working on the interiors since day one. There is a large aisle outside our bedroom, and Rohit and I intended to make full use of it. We had no idea at the time that it would soon become our baby's room," she added.
Rohit and Sheena's new house is located in the Dahisar area of Mumbai. Both of them tied the knot in January 2019 after dating for six years. They announced their pregnancy in April this year.
On the work front, Rohit is winning hearts with his performance in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-starring Samriddhi Shukla. Sheena, on the other hand, was last seen in the TV serial, Vanshaj.
