EA Sports won't release "College Football 26" until the early stages of July, but the game's top 25 has been released.

The way-too-early rankings from ESPN have Ohio State and Texas as the top two teams in the country. The Buckeyes lost a lot of talent from their championship-winning roster, but Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs will still be in Columbus anchoring down both sides of the football.
The Longhorns, meanwhile, are finally handing the keys to their offense over to former five-star quarterback Arch Manning. Fans are expecting a big year from Eli and Peyton's nephew.
Despite all the hype surrounding Ohio State and Texas, neither team received the top spot in EA Sports' rankings. The No. 1 spot surprisingly belongs to Alabama.

What's bizarre about Alabama being No. 1 is the offense doesn't have a starting quarterback yet. Sure, Ryan Williams is an absolute stud at wide receiver, but head coach Kalen DeBoer has some things to fix.

Alabama isn't the only team that received a questionable ranking from EA Sports.
Here are the top 25 teams in EA Sports' upcoming game:
Alabama
Texas
Ohio State
Penn State
Notre Dame
Georgia
Clemson
Texas A&M
Oregon
LSU
Miami
Florida
Texas Tech
Arizona State
Michigan
Ole Miss
Oklahoma
Indiana
SMU
Tennessee
Missouri
Auburn
Duke
South Carolina
Illinois
Fans can't believe that Auburn cracked the top 25. Frankly, we can't blame them. The program just hasn't looked sharp under Hugh Freeze.
The deluxe edition of "College Football 26" will be available for gamers on July 7.

Tennis Fans Want Reporter Fired For 'Tacky' Carlos Alcaraz Question

Tennis Fans Want Reporter Fired For 'Tacky' Carlos Alcaraz Question originally appeared on The Spun. With the 2025 Wimbledon Championships on the horizon, Carlos Alcaraz is trending because of his life off the court. Advertisement Earlier this month, Alcaraz asked Emma Raducanu to be his partner for mixed doubles at the US Open. She was more than willing to accept his offer. Once their partnership for the final Grand Slam tournament of the year was confirmed, fans started speculating about their connection. That speculation only grew louder when Alcaraz and Raducanu were spotted practicing together at Wimbledon. Raducanu later revealed they were working on something with Evian since they're both ambassadors for the brand. Despite their best efforts to keep the focus on tennis, Alcaraz and Raducanu haven't been able to dodge questions from the public. On Saturday afternoon, Raducanu was asked about her dynamic with Alcaraz. An unidentified reporter was wondering if there's a potential romance brewing behind the scenes. Advertisement "There's been lots of chatter online about your friendship with Carlos," a reporter asked. "Is there any truth behind the rumors?" Raducanu replied, "We're just good friends." (Photo by AELTC/Joe Toth via Getty Images)Handout/Getty Images Raducanu handled this interaction with class, make no mistake about it. That doesn't change the fact that it was a ridiculous question. In fact, some fans want this reporter to face consequences for this question. "Tennis reporters should not ask such questions," one fan said. "This is getting ridiculous," a second fan wrote. "It is none of our business, leave them alone," a third fan commented. "Tennis reporters are so unprofessional. Some reporters, especially those from the UK. It is yet another example of the circuits, particularly the @wta failing to monitor the press conferences and protect their players," an Instagram user wrote. Advertisement "Leave them alone and let it happen organically if you do like them as a couple. Tacky otherwise, but it's the media so what else is new," another social media user said. As of now, the reporter hasn't apologized for their question about Alcaraz and Raducanu. Hopefully, this bizarre situation doesn't become the top story at Wimbledon this upcoming week. How to watch X Games Salt Lake City Day 3: Best trick showcase in grand finale

Sunday highlights the highest risks and best tricks as the 30th anniversary X Games come to a close in Salt Lake City. It is a day reserved for the most consequential contests, in which a single run can redefine an athlete's legacy. It's also a day of fan favorites. Betting remains active, and with stunts this dicey, the odds can shift before the wheels touch down. Advertisement An all-day digital livestream of Sunday's events can be found on the Roku Sports Channel. Women's Skateboard Street Best Trick opens the day. Chloe Covell is just 15, but she's already the rider to beat as the owner of four X Games gold medals. Her lines are crisp, fast and technically advanced. She faces a deep field of teenage talent, pushing the ceiling higher with each appearance. The lineup continues with Men's Skateboard Vert Best Trick, BMX Dirt Best Trick, Men's Skateboard Street Best Trick and Moto X QuarterPipe High Air. Colby Raha enters as the favorite in the latter — he's won four titles and continues to hit heights once thought impossible. But new challengers are closing in, and a single slip can change the standings. In the Men's Skateboard Vert Best Trick final, Gui Khury is within reach of another gold. The 16-year-old claimed his eighth X Games gold, the most ever for a teenager, when he won the Men's Skateboard Vert competition on Friday. Vert is the sport's root system, where style, control and innovation collide. Finally, after Women's BMX Park, the Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick closes the weekend. Kevin Peraza returns to chase a sixth medal in the event that honors Mirra's legacy. Expect big air and creative lines that nod to BMX history while pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Sunday night's game averaged 16.53 million on ABC and ESPN+ according to preliminary ratings data from Nielsen. The audience peaked at 19.28 million during the second half (9:45-10 p.m. EDT). Advertisement It is the first time since Toronto wrapped up its title in Game 6 against Golden State in 2019 (18.34 million) that the finals have had an audience over 16 million. The last Game 7, when Cleveland beat Golden State in 2016, averaged 31.02 million. The seven-game series averaged 10.27 million, down from the 11.31 million average for Boston's victory over Dallas in five games last year. The seven games were the most-watched television broadcasts since the first week of May.
