Fans Hit Out At ‘Piece of S–t' Marilyn Manson After Disgraced Rocker's Video Tribute During Final Black Sabbath Show
But based on some fan reaction to the gesture, it was not well-received by all. 'F–k that guy he's a rapist piece of s–t,' wrote one fan after video of the tribute was posted. In the clip, Manson (born Brian Warner), 56 — who was accused in lawsuits from four women of sexual assault and domestic abuse — said, 'It is a great honor to be here via this video,' according to the NME. 'And I'd like to say congratulations, and I love you very much, Ozzy.'

After the video played at the show featuring sets from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Pantera, Anthrax and many more, fans weighed in online about the surprise Manson pop-in. 'Eurgh Marilyn Manson making an appearance on the sabbath stream. F–k that guy he's a rapist piece of s–t,' wrote one, with others adding, 'Marilyn Manson on the black sabbath stream f–k off' and 'disgraceful that he is on this otherwise outstanding Black Sabbath show.'
According to British media reports, some fans at the show booed during the video or turned their backs on Manson's video. At press time a spokesperson for Manson had not returned Billboard's request for comment. It did not appear as if Manson, who performed on Ozzfest in 1997, 2001, 2003, 2017 and 2018, and, like many on the bill has long cited Osbourne and Sabbath as a formative rock influence, was invited to participate in Saturday's show.
The feeling of some was summed up by another tweet that read, 'ew marilyn manson go away.' Manson has long denied the sexual abuse allegations, which have resulted in his being dropped by his label, manager and booking agent, and, most recently, the Oct. 29 One Assassination Under God tour kick-off gig in Brighton, U.K. getting cancelled at the urging of members of Parliament. In January, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced that it wouldn't file criminal charges against Manson in the cases, citing the expiration of the statute of limitations and insufficient evidence in the alleged incidents that prosecutors said happened between 2009 and 2011.
Stories about sexual assault allegations can be traumatizing for survivors of sexual assault. This British Comedian Auditioned For A Role In Barbie – But Lost Out To Will Ferrell
Barbie was one of the most star-studded movies of the last decade, so it's no secret that competition was stiff to land a coveted role in such a stellar ensemble. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starred in Greta Gerwig's Oscar-nominated movie about the iconic doll, completed by a cast that included Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Nicola Coughlan, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa and many more. There was also a memorable supporting role from Will Ferrell, who played the rollerskating Mattel CEO. But before the gig went to the Anchorman actor, there was a British comedian up for the same role: James Acaster. The standup comic has been venturing into acting in recent years, having landed roles in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and last year's comedy-adventure film Seize Them! with The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Comedian's Comedian Podcast with Stuart Goldsmith (@comcompod) As revealed in a recently unearthed interview, the Off Menu podcast host also went for a role in the 2023 record-breaking blockbuster. Speaking on The Comedian's Comedian Podcast with Stuart Goldsmith last year, James opened up about his acting career when he was asked about projects he had unsuccessfully auditioned for. 'The Barbie movie. The part went to Will Ferrell,' James recalled, before adding: 'Come on, why are they even getting me in the room?' He also clarified that he 'liked the audition though', adding 'that's fun, it's learning'. Earlier this year, director Greta set the record straight following reports of a Barbie sequel. A spokesperson for the director insisted that there was 'no legitimacy' to the story that a follow-up was in the earlier stages, while Warner Bros. also called the reports 'inaccurate'. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie's film company is set to follow the success of Barbie by producing a new movie based on the Monopoly board game. Related... It's Feminism vs. a Mother's Instinct on a London Stage
By day, Jessica Parks is a formidable judge in a London court, handing down sentences to drug-dealers, sex offenders and domestic abusers. By night, she's a floundering parent to a teenage son who is being bullied at school. When he is accused of raping a female classmate, Jessica's maternal instincts butt up against her feminist politics. She has always argued that victims must be believed, but her son protests his innocence, and she feels duty bound to stand by him. That's the gist of 'Inter Alia,' written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, a successor to the pair's 2023 Olivier and Tony Award-winning 'Prima Facie.' In that play, a defense attorney known for her uncompromising cross-examinations of rape victims is herself subjected to a sexual assault. This follow-up, which runs at the National Theater in London through Sept. 13, essentially inverts the plotline: Whereas in 'Prima Facie' the criminal justice system was on trial, in 'Inter Alia,' the family unit is in the dock. Rosamund Pike, of 'Saltburn' fame, is vibrantly engaging as the embattled heroine, and her commanding stage presence carries an otherwise pedestrian production. Jessica is indefatigably energetic, whether declaiming from atop a table or belting out karaoke numbers. And she's sassy: Regaling us about a conversation with her lawyer husband, Michael, as she irons her son's shirt, she archly points the iron upward and emits a puff of steam when she speaks his parts to indicate her disdain. We are invited to note the contrast between her strong, capable persona and the vulnerable human being underneath it; on several occasions, Jessica remarks on the need to modulate between her 'stern voice' and a softer register — all life is a performance, whether in the courtroom or the living room. Jamie Glover plays Michael with a perfunctory insouciance that befits the role: He is mildly envious of his wife's superior professional status, while she resents him for abdicating the 'emotional lifting' of parenthood. Jasper Talbot as the couple's son, Harry, looks a bit older than the character he's playing, but makes up for it with a sulky bearing and listless, waddling gait. Both these male roles, as written, are somewhat wooden — they are essentially props in what feels, for large swaths, like a one-woman show. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

King Charles told actor he's related to Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Dracula: book
King Charles isn't shy about sinking his teeth into royal history. Actor Luke Evans wrote a memoir that was published this year, titled "Boy from the Valleys: My Unexpected Journey." In it, the 46-year-old wrote about being invited to a Prince's Trust gala dinner at The Savoy Hotel in London in 2014, where he met the former Prince Charles. It was there that he learned the British royal was related to the real-life Dracula. Evans recalled how the now-76-year-old gave him "a good, strong handshake" and asked what he was working on. At the time, the Welsh star had just finished filming "Dracula Untold," where he played Vlad Tepes III, also known as Vlad the Impaler. The 15th-century Romanian warlord inspired the 1897 novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker about the vampire Count Dracula. Evans wrote that upon hearing this, the king's "eyes lit up," as quoted by People. According to the outlet, Charles said, "I'll tell you an interesting story. I'm actually related to Vlad Tepes." "To my astonishment, he then proceeded to talk me through his entire lineage, all the way back to the 1400s," Evans recalled, as quoted by the outlet. "He told me he now owns a number of properties in Romania, where Vlad was ruler." Evans told Charles it was "the most incredible story." The king replied, "Yes, and not a lot of people know it." He then smiled and walked away. "I noticed he had stayed a little longer with me than he had with other guests, probably because we had this fascinating thing to talk about," Evans wrote. The Prince's Trust, now called the King's Trust, was founded by the monarch in 1976. The charity's goal is to help disadvantaged youth in the U.K. Evans served as an ambassador. Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Charles' love for Romania runs deep in his veins. "We first discovered Vlad the Impaler's connection to Charles when we explored the bloodline of Prince George after he was born [in 2013]," Turner explained, referring to the monarch's grandson. "Charles still visits his holiday home in Romania each year." "Perhaps all those wishing to oppose or suppress his wishes should have second thoughts, fearing his ancestral blood," Turner joked. WATCH: 'DRACULA' STAR BELA LUGOSI 'EXAGGERATED' HIS DRUG ADDICTION: AUTHOR British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that Charles loves to share the fun fact about his heritage. "Even Romanian officials have publicly acknowledged this by jesting he's the 'Prince of Transylvania,'" she shared. "The king has an affection for rural Transylvania, in particular, where he has property holdings." In 2023, the king declared his "love" for and "deep connection" to Romania when he attended a reception at Cotroceni Palace to celebrate his close ties to the nation, The Telegraph reported. The outlet noted that it marked his first trip abroad since being crowned king that year. Romania remains one of Charles' favorite countries where he could seek refuge and privacy. According to the outlet, he owns at least 10 properties in the country and makes an annual trip to hike and paint. His countryside home has no Wi-Fi, TV or radio, allowing him to completely disconnect. The outlet noted that there is a "small hi-fi player with CDs" in the drawing room. In 2017, the mayor of the city of Alba Iulia claimed they invited Charles to accept the honorary title of Prince of Transylvania. Fox News Digital reached out to see if the offer still stands for the monarch.
