Honor's next tablet is even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge
Honor is one of the companies that's expected to launch a Galaxy Z Fold 7 competitor before Samsung introduces its flagship. In fact, the Chinese company has already confirmed it will unveil the Magic V5 on July 2. The catch is the foldable will only be introduced in China, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might not have any competition globally after all.But Magic V5 is not the only interesting product Honor plans to announce on July 2. The sequel to the MagicPad 2 tablet is also going to be introduced alongside the company's foldable early next month.
If you think the Galaxy S25 Edge is incredibly thin, then you'll probably think it's impossible for a tablet to be thinner. Well, the MagicPad 3 is just 5.79mm thick, which is just 0.1mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge.

According to the General Manager of Honor's Tablet and IoT Product division, the MagicPad 3 will pack 'the largest battery in the industry.' Based on previous reports, Honor's tablet should feature a huge 12,450 mAh battery. Another 'industry's first' for the MagicPad 3 is the 13.3-inch LCD Oasis eye-protection display, which takes advantage of a dual DDIC setup for dual-core drivers. The innovations that Honor integrated into the display will enable the tablet to offer an ultra-high resolution and refresh rate experience.

Other rumored highlights of the MagicPad 3 include a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of internal storage. Also, the tablet's huge battery is said to support 66W wired charging speeds.
Several pictures showing the tablet's back and sides have been recently published by Honor on Weibo. These only show the Floating Gold version of the MagicPad 3, but two other color options are likely to be available at launch: Starry Gray and Moon Shadow White.

This means we should get the same large and imposing smartwatch. It will come with a rugged and pretty distinct titanium squircle case but a circular sapphire display with a slightly raised bezel on top. Rumors have it we might see some upgrades to the overall durability here, with one of the possible solutions being an upgrade to IP69K, which would protect it against strong water jets from any direction. With the Galaxy Watch 6 series, Samsung introduced a fresh new band attachment mechanism which relies on a single button to attach/detach the band from the watch case. Software & Features Samsung and Google's partnership in terms of software is thankfully set to continue, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will arrive with Wear OS 5 running beneath a refreshed One UI Watch 8 wrapper. We expect Google's Material 3 Expressive design language to make it to Samsung's rugged smartwatch eventually and boost the personalization options here. Meanwhile, One UI Watch 8 is reportedly scoring a number of new Galaxy AI improvements, as well as AI-powered health and fitness recommendations that will suggest adequate measures based on your unique fitness and health data. The general interface and UX are unlikely to change too much. A major new health feature coming our way is likely a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring addition to Samsung's BioActive sensor, which will use light to measure your blood sugar levels. A potential game changer for diabetics if Samsung pulls this one. Other than that, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) and the Galaxy Watch Ultra will share most of their health and wellness features, like ECG, blood pressure monitoring, VO2, heartrate, and so on. We are also reportedly getting improvements to sleep tracking and data interpretation. Once again, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will surely only work with Android devices, but some essential health features might remain exclusive to Galaxy phones. Blood-pressure monitoring and ECG currently only work with Galaxy phones, and we imagine glucose monitoring might follow. iOS isn't supported. The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is likely coming with a battery in the ballpark of 590 mAh, which was the same battery that made it inside the first Galaxy Watch. As the chipset inside will remain the same (Samsung's 3nm Exynos W1000 chip), we don't expect any major improvements to efficiency either. This means the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will likely boast the same battery life as its predecessor, likely two to three days based on the usage. Charging-wise, it's extremely unlikely we'd get anything apart from the standard 10W wireless charging. It takes nearly two hours to fully charge the older Galaxy Watch Ultra, so the same will probably ring true for the successor as well. Both smartwatches are available in a single 47mm size, and you can only have either one with cellular connectivity, which kind of limits the choices you have. The older Galaxy Watch Ultra goes for $649.99, and we don't expect a price hike for its successor. From the looks of it, Samsung is set to improve its flagship smartwatch this year, but isn't too keen on making any sudden moves and changing the overall experience too much. That's alright, as we didn't expect any such major shifts, either. The new Ultra is clearly aimed at consumers that are poised to upgrade to an Android-powered large and premium smartwatch this year and counting on Apple Watch Ultra fatigue to score new adopters. It doesn't feel as if Galaxy Watch Ultra should feel compelled to upgrade this year on the basis that their smartwatches could be 95% identical to the new model, so no major value will be gained. Of course, if any of the rumored features sound like major improvements to you, then the world's your oyster, and there's nothing stopping you from upgrading.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 dimensions leak again
Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are expected to launch as the brand's slimmest and lightest foldable phones next week. Ahead of the big announcement, leakster Setsuna Digital shared some preliminary dimensions for both devices. In related news, Evan Blass shared additional official-looking renders for Samsung's upcoming foldable, showing off their updated slim designs. Galaxy Z Fold7 Galaxy Z Fold7 will measure 8.9mm when folded and a mere 4.2mm when unfolded. If these dimensions are in fact true, Z Fold7 would edge out the current champion – vivo's X Fold5, which is 9.2 mm and 4.3 mm respectively and 217 grams. Galaxy Z Fold7 is reportedly getting an enhanced armored aluminum frame and glass ceramic back panel. Z Fold7's tenure as the thinnest foldable may be short-lived, though, as Honor is launching its Magic V5 later this week, which will be 8.8mm thin in its folded state. Once again, the base iPhone 17 is rumored to get a larger display than the iPhone 16 base model. This potential upgrade has been in the rumor mill for months now, but now, yet another rumor out of China corroborates it, so it's getting more and more likely. Reputable tipster Digital Chat Station is now sharing on the Chinese social media website Weibo that the base iPhone 17 model may feature a 6.3-inch display. This is up from the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 16 . Digital Chat Station is a tipster and leaker with a good track record about Apple. Meanwhile, last month, Counterpoint Research VP Ross Young also said the iPhone 17 is likely to feature a 6.3-inch screen.
