The July 2 event is getting closer by the day and Honor has been posting more teasers for the upcoming devices. We have already seen images of the Honor MagicPad 3, a premium 13.3' tablet, but now the company's Weibo account has posted a video too. Honor MagicPad 3 The video goes over most of the same specs that we already know, starting with the 13.3' LCD with '3.2K' resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. Stylus support is featured prominently. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 12,450mAh battery. Honor MagicPad 3 Four years ago, Honor partnered with IMAX and this tablet reaps the benefits – you can see the 'IMAX Enhanced' label in the video. The video also confirms that a keyboard cover is on the way. The tablet will be available in three colorways. And it will have tons of AI features. In addition to the MagicPad 3, Honor will also unveil its new flagship foldable – the Honor Magic V5, which is going for the 'thinnest horizontal foldable' crown, a slim Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 laptop and potentially a surprise or two. Promo images for the event also show the Honor Watch 5 Ultra and the Honor EarBuds Open, but those were announced a while back (maybe Honor has a new revision in store). Source

Slender Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 design shown off in official images
While the Honor Magic V5 is getting most of the attention, next week's event will feature several other new devices. Honor already shared official images of the MagicPad 3, now let's have a peek at the Honor MagicBook Art 14. Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 More specifically, the Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025. There are a few technical details at the moment. This should be an x86 powered laptop like the 2024 model we reviewed last year (that one had an Intel Core 7 Ultra 155H). Honor also made a Snapdragon-powered version of the MagicBook Art 14 (Snapdragon X Elite). Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025 colorways One teaser says that the Art 14 2025 will weigh 1kg (2.2lbs) and will measure 1cm thick (0.39'). For what it's worth, the Intel-powered 2024 model was 1.03kg and the Snapdragon one was 1.02kg and measured 1cm thick at its thinnest point (not counting the rubber feet) and 1.15cm at its thickest. By the looks of it, the new model will launch in three different colors. The Honor Magic V5, MagicPad 3 and MagicBook Art 14 2025 will be unveiled on July 2 (the event starts at 2PM UTC). Honor's next tablet is even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge
Honor is one of the companies that's expected to launch a Galaxy Z Fold 7 competitor before Samsung introduces its flagship. In fact, the Chinese company has already confirmed it will unveil the Magic V5 on July 2. The catch is the foldable will only be introduced in China, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might not have any competition globally after Magic V5 is not the only interesting product Honor plans to announce on July 2. The sequel to the MagicPad 2 tablet is also going to be introduced alongside the company's foldable early next month. If you think the Galaxy S25 Edge is incredibly thin, then you'll probably think it's impossible for a tablet to be thinner. Well, the MagicPad 3 is just 5.79mm thick, which is just 0.1mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to the General Manager of Honor's Tablet and IoT Product division, the MagicPad 3 will pack 'the largest battery in the industry.' Based on previous reports, Honor's tablet should feature a huge 12,450 mAh battery. Another 'industry's first' for the MagicPad 3 is the 13.3-inch LCD Oasis eye-protection display, which takes advantage of a dual DDIC setup for dual-core drivers. The innovations that Honor integrated into the display will enable the tablet to offer an ultra-high resolution and refresh rate experience. Also, the tablet's huge battery is said to support 66W wired charging speeds. Several pictures showing the tablet's back and sides have been recently published by Honor on Weibo. These only show the Floating Gold version of the MagicPad 3, but two other color options are likely to be available at launch: Starry Gray and Moon Shadow White. Honor MagicPad 3 will be the company's best tablet to date, so we expect this to be priced pretty high. Sadly, that means the global model will be even more expensive. Samsung's upcoming flagship tablet is getting tough competition months before launch
Honor MagicPad 2 is both sleek and stylish | Image credit: Honor Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 flagship tablets are still a few months away, which leaves plenty of room for the competition to take a little bit of the tablet market share that the South Korean dominates along with Apple. One of the brands that are trying to gain a little bit of market share before Samsung introduces its new flagships is Honor. The Chinese company is almost ready to launch its top-tier slate, the MagicPad 3. The MagicPad 3 is supposed to be introduced sometime in June, which is why Chinese tipsters have already started to leak information about the upcoming flagship tablet. Famous leaker Digital Chat Station has just posted on Weibo MagicPad 3's key specs, and judging from what they're claiming, it appears that the MagicPad 3 might not bring so many upgrades as it should if Honor wants to convince customers their products are better than the competition's. The first disappointment is that the MagicPad 3 apparently comes with a slightly downgraded display. The previous model, MagicPad 2, has a 12.3-inch OLED display with 1920 x 3000 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. In comparison, the MagicPad 3 is rumored to feature a 13.2-inch LCD display, probably with a similar 144Hz refresh rate. The main issue is that the quality of panel (OLED vs. LCD) is definitely in favor of the MagicPad 2. On the bright side, the MagicPad 3 seems to have a slightly higher display, so that's a plus for those who are looking for very big tablets. Besides that, the reliable tipster says the MagicPad 3 will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which isn't too bad even though this chipset was launched two years ago. The fact that the Galaxy Tab S11 is said to pack MediaTek's Dimensity 9400, a chipset released last year, even the odds a bit. The MagicPad 2 is Honor's most powerful tablet to date | Image credit: Honor In any case, the powerful chipset is paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal memory. As you can imagine, Honor will offer customers the option to choose from different storage sizes, depending on their needs and DGS claims the MagicPad 3's battery will support 66W wired charging, but didn't say anything about its size. For reference, the MagicPad 2 has a 10,050 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support, so there doesn't seem to be any changes when it comes to charging MagicPad 3 will be introduced at some point in June and should be available in three different colors – Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold and Starry Sky Gray, at least that's what the tip says.
