Angel Reese is Selling Viral 'Mebounds' Shirt for $45

Angel Reese is Selling Viral 'Mebounds' Shirt for $45 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Initially used to scrutinize Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese for her struggles on offense, the phrase "Mebounds" may now end up earning her a significant amount of money. Advertisement The No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of LSU, who went on to become a WNBA All-Star in her rookie season, has been relentlessly mocked on social media for missing shots on offense but racking up rebounds off of those aforementioned missed shots. The phrase was coined by Bhen of Jeff Teague's "Club 520 Podcast" but has since been trademarked by Reese, who on Friday revealed that she is now selling "Mebounds" merchandise. The product line includes items such as hats, slides, beanies, hoodies and T-shirts, and as revealed by the Chicago Sun-Times, some of the proceeds will be going toward cyberbullying prevention. As seen on her website, the shirts come in a variety of colors and styles and even have different graphics on the front. The oversized T-shirt, which features the phrases "Mebounds" and "Anything That Comes Off That Board, It's Mine," also has a silhouette of Reese grabbing a rebound. Angel Reese's "Mebounds" Silhouette Oversized As listed on the website, this particular shirt is available in sizes small-3XL and is retailing for $45. Advertisement While it's unclear how much of the proceeds are going toward the cyberbullying prevention cause, Reese did open up on how difficult it is to be attacked online frequently. 'And people always say, 'Block the noise, block this, block that.' But it's not that easy.' Reese also confirmed that she made "six figures" in one day off the phrase. As for her on-court performance this year, Reese is averaging 11.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while shooting 39.1% from the field and 30.8% from deep. Can Patrick Reed help 4Aces end long drought with a win in his home state of Texas?

It's been since 2023 since the 4Aces have won a LIV Golf team title, a stretch of 27 starts, but Patrick Reed insisted this week that the team hasn't gone into panic mode. But Reed has played better of late, and he came into this week's LIV Golf Dallas at Maridoe Golf Club in a good place after a top-25 finish at the U.S. Open at Oakmont. And the rest of the underperforming team, one that includes Dustin Johnson, Harold Varner III and Thomas Pieters, was also showing signs of trending upward. So Reed had no worries about the side as it came to Texas, the state in which he lives. "The team room has been fine. The golf aspect of it has just kind of been too up and down. You'll have one or two guys play really well one day and then one or two of the guys don't quite have it and then it flips the next day and things like that," Reed said on Friday. "I feel like right now the team is playing really solid. We know TP will bounce back. His game actually looks pretty solid for the most part. "The biggest thing is keep the throttle down." Reed, who shot a 67 in the opening round as did teammate Varner, did just that during Saturday's second round. He finished with 68 and the 4Aces look poised to return to the podium if they can manage their way through Sunday. The team holds a 4-stroke lead with one round to play. "It would mean a lot, obviously, to win in your home state," Reed said. "But really to me, honestly, it doesn't matter where it is. Winning a golf tournament is winning a golf tournament. The adrenaline and that feeling of standing up on stage and hoisting that trophy is an amazing feeling. It doesn't really matter where you're at or anything like that. "But doing it in my home state would be special for sure. But we've got a long way to go."
