Pato O'Ward held off Josef Newgarden at the Iowa Speedway on July 12 to win his first IndyCar race of the season.
O'Ward won the Synk 275 powered by Sukup with an average time of 1:46:00.6760. Newgarden, who was on pole, was second at 1:46:00.9112. Will Power finished third at 1:46:01.8888.
