Brice Truffle Launch Event With TREASURE
K-pop boy band TREASURE touched down in Kuala Lumpur to make their special appearance at ecoBrown's Brice Truffle launch event at Sunway Pyramid – and we were front and centre!
Fans were screaming with joy the second the members stepped onto the stage. Apart from the official launch, some very lucky winners, who participated in the brand's contest, got to take a group photo with TREASURE!

'Lilo & Stitch' stars reflect on film's success and are eager for a sequel

For eight-year-old star Maia Kealoha, it's meant no more Doritos - she's learned she has to keep her teeth clean, especially when doing interviews. Maia, Sydney Agudong and Tia Carrere have been doing lots of those, taking a victory lap with Lilo & Stitch at Comic-Con 2025 and promoting the film's release for digital purchase. Another change? Maia says with a big grin that she's been recognised at stores "like five thousand times.' Agudong says the movie "an ode to Hawaii' and it's been really cool to "see how much the world has taken to it and how much impact Lilo & Stitch really has had as just this lifelong and timeless story.' She says she's been fortunate to celebrate the film's success with family and friends and despite premieres and whirlwind interviews, she still gets to "go to the beach and have fun all over again and I'm just the same.' Maia and Agudong are the breakout stars of the film, which is the biggest blockbuster of 2025, earning more than US$1bil. "Our little blue friend Stitch is now a billionaire and we couldn't be more excited about it,' Carrere says excitedly. As for a sequel, Agudong says the trio are feeling "hanna hou,' a Hawaiian term for repeating or doing something again. "Though, of course, we cannot confirm or deny the existence of any such project in this universe or the next. Sorry!' Carrere cheerfully noted. – AP

#NSTviral: KJ triumphs in boxing debut against ex-world Muay Thai champion
KUALA LUMPUR: Hot FM radio presenter Khairy Jamaluddin's dream of stepping into a boxing ring came true when he defeated former world number one Muay Thai fighter Saiful Merican in a friendly match yesterday. The bout, held at ST Rosyam Mart in Jalan Kebun, was part of Hot FM's Clash of Champion event and drew a crowd of over 300 spectators. Khairy, affectionately known as KJ, said he was grateful to have claimed a memorable win over the 37-year-old mixed martial arts (MMA) star. "Since I was a child, I've always been passionate about boxing and grew up watching Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Mike Tyson. "I've always wanted to step into a boxing ring, and I never imagined I would get the opportunity today. "To face off against a highly respected martial artist like Saiful 'The Vampire' Merican — it's truly an honour," he said. The friendly match had reportedly been in the works since last year, but only materialised on Sunday. Khairy, who has known Saiful for some time, described sharing the ring with the Malaysian MMA athlete as a meaningful experience. "He gave me some room in the first two minutes, but when he punched — he really punched," he added with a smile. Khairy also expressed appreciation to everyone who made the match possible, including his coach and his son, Jibriel Ali Jamaluddin, who served as his cornerman. Aside from the headline bout, the event also featured a match between Hot FM's Bekfes presenter AG and Adli Goldenboy, which ended in a draw. Another crowd favourite was a friendly arm-wrestling match between presenter Fara Fauzana and singer Elizabeth Tan, with Tan emerging victorious.
