Was Taylor Swift an Eagles fan?
Yes, Swift was an Eagles fan — at least, she grew up as one, and supported Philadelphia prior to her relationship with Kelce. The "Fearless" singer grew up in West Reading, Pennsylvania, located roughly an hour and 20 minutes northwest of Philadelphia.
One of the earliest examples of her Eagles fandom can be traced back to the Fearless tour when she performed her first arena concert in Philadelphia at the then-Wachovia Center on March 19, 2010.
After performing her original 14-song set, Swift came back out to perform 'Today was a Fairytale' in customized Eagles jersey dress as part of her encore set.
Swift reaffirmed her Eagles fandom during the first night of the Philadelphia stop of the Eras Tour at Lincoln Financial Field in May 2023. While talking to fans between songs, Swift brought up a particular lyric from her song "Gold Rush" — "with my Eagles T-shirt hanging from the door" — and whether she was referencing the NFL franchise or the band, The Eagles.
"There was sort of a — I don't know how large the debate was but I did see the debate about — I have a lyric that says, 'With my Eagles T-shirt hanging from the door,'" Swift said. "And I saw some people wondering if it was the band the Eagles or the team the Eagles.
"And I love the band the Eagles. But guys, like, come on like, I'm from Philly of course it's the team."
As noted by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Swift was seen entering her New York recording studio, Electric Lady Studios, in June 2023 rocking an Eagles crewneck. This was a few weeks before Kelce took in one of the Era Tours concerts at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on July 8 and three months before the relationship between the two went public.
Her father, Scott Swift, is also a well-established and known Eagles fan as well — which perhaps made for an uncomfortable first meeting with Kelce. At Super Bowl 58 last year in Las Vegas, Scott Swift was seen wearing an Eagles lanyard with his Chiefs hat and T-shirt in Taylor Swift's box at Allegiant Stadium.
Swift's fandom with the Eagles and the rest of the Philadelphia professional sports teams goes back to 2008. She performed the national anthem at Game 3 of the World Series at Citizens Bank Park between the Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays.

Travis Kelce on Taylor Swift being an Eagles fan
At Super Bowl 59 Media Night on Monday, Kelce was asked about his girlfriend's Eagles fandom and whether she still has it. Based on the four-time All-Pro tight end's response, it doesn't appear the "Tortured Poets Department" singer will be rooting for the team in green on Sunday.
"I don't know her to have the fandom, I know her father has a Philadelphia fandom as an Eagles fan," Kelce said on Monday. "She will be all for Chiefs this time around for sure."

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo Share Heart-Warming Family News

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo Share Heart-Warming Family News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has a new reason to be motivated to perform this season - it will be his first season as a father. Advertisement McCaffrey and his wife Olivia Culpo shared photos of their newborn daughter on Sunday, welcoming Colette Annalise McCaffrey to the world. The star ball-carrier and former Miss USA winner announced they were having a baby via Culpo's Instagram on March 10 with a series of photos from a pregnancy shoot. Colette's arrival comes just over a year since her parents married on June 29, 2024 during the offseason after "CMC" helped lead his 49ers to Super Bowl LVIII, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in February of last year. This special time for McCaffrey and his family leads up to what is sure to be a season driven by focus and determination for the 49ers. Advertisement Last season after their Super Bowl berth, San Francisco was ravaged by injuries and played below their standards, leading to a 6-11 season in which they missed the playoffs entirely. McCaffrey, in particular, missed 13 of the team's 17 games with Achilles and knee troubles. The former All-Pro running back has vowed that he is fully healthy this offseason and ready to rebound from a disappointing season. When fully available, the Niners have enough firepower to contend not just in the NFC West but the conference as a whole. A motivated McCaffrey is a huge factor in that. And the new father now has a little bundle of joy to play for as he enters his ninth season in the NFL. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jul 14, 2025, where it first appeared.

The former Miss Universe documented her pregnancy on social media, often through some hilarious videos, as she and McCaffrey eagerly awaited Colette's arrival. Bills Sign Receiver Labeled 'Uninspiring Choice' By Analyst

Bills Sign Receiver Labeled 'Uninspiring Choice' By Analyst originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The NFL offseason can be a strange place, and for the Buffalo Bills, the franchise was urged to sign a new weapon for Josh Allen, and they did, Los Angeles Chargers receiver Joshua Palmer. Advertisement But that wasn't good enough for some, with the need not satisfied and others wanting a genuine No. 1 weapon despite the obvious salary cap limitations. Palmer has posted at least 500+ receiving yards in his last three seasons in L.A., so he isn't exactly a mug, but for ESPN's Seth Walder, the signing of Palmer wasn't good. "Palmer is an uninspiring choice given his 1.6 yards per route run last season (and failure to ever reach 1.9 yards per route run in a season) despite playing with Justin Herbert in Los Angeles," Walder writes. "When the Bills didn't draft a wide receiver until the seventh round, GM Brandon Beane took issue with the criticism." Vasquez-Imagn Images Perhaps the best thing about Palmer coming to Buffalo is that he won't need to be the No. 1 guy, with Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir, along with tight end Dalton Kincaid, all part of an arsenal of weapons that helped the Bills reach the AFC Championship game last year. Advertisement Instead, Palmer will be asked to be part of the machine, not the driving force. Yes, his numbers might not be greater than they were in Los Angeles, but that doesn't mean he won't be a valued part of Joe Brady's offense. Some are writing off the signing of Palmer before he's played a snap with the defending MVP, so we'll let the cake bake on any narrative around Joshua right now.
