Tyson Fury's latest comeback antics is all part of a Netflix script to lead up to Anthony Joshua fight… claims insider

TYSON FURY'S latest antics are all part of a Netflix script leading up to the Anthony Joshua showdown - according to their shared bestie Derek Chisora.
The 41-year-old Zimbabwe-Brit has shared the ring three times with the Gypsy King and become a pal to the giant reality TV star.

He is also a long-time Finchley ABC mentor to our 35-year-old London 2012 legend and so has never chased that big-money AJ fight.
Chisora - the veteran warhorse who somehow stays friends with everyone in the bleeding business - knows the British fight game inside out.
And he reckons 36-year-old Fury's shock December retirement - and everything up until Thursday's claim he has secured an April trilogy with Oleksandr Usyk at Wembley - are all little streaming episodes leading up to the overdue biggest fight in British boxing history.
At the IBA show in Turkey - where Del Boy even spent a second on Fury's LAP at ringside - he told SunSport: 'Whatever you think is happening, is not happening, because something big is happening soon.
'Watch this space - something big is happening soon. It's a great story.
'He announced on the biggest platform that he's retiring. That blows up the internet with a shock retirement announcement from his car.
'It creates the build-up, it's entertainment, that's the whole point.
'When I saw the cameras around Tyson, I knew he was coming back, he's definitely coming back and this is a good selling point.

'AJ cannot retire without fighting Tyson and Tyson cannot retire without fighting AJ.'
Chisora has been like a big brother to Joshua and he's seriously protective of his fellow North Londoner.
Derek Chisora pleads with Anthony Joshua not to give repeated drug cheat Jarrell Miller another chance for grudge fight
He wrongly suggests all of the British boxing media has spent time pulling him down off of the pedestal we created on the back of his amateur and pro heroics.
But he admits that his mate is wounded by over-the-top criticism, often done only for clicks.
He said: 'What upsets AJ is that he has done so much for British boxing but the reporters - and people who talk about him - always put him down.
When SunSport passionately denies the charge, he adds: 'He won a gold medal and drove up interest in the sport and created pay-per-view madness for everyone but nobody ever says 'congratulations and thank you'.
'The guy has come from nothing and made something of himself.
'I feel bad for him because he just wants to enjoy what he has and boxing but people behind a keyboard try to kill him.
'This is why he just keeps quiet and stays in his own lane. He just wants to be happy.'

Daisy Edgar-Jones subtly reveals her boyfriend Ben Seed is her phone lock screen as the couple look smitten at star-studded BST Hyde Park

Daisy Edgar-Jones has proven that things are getting serious with her boyfriend Ben Seed as she revealed that she is her phone lock screen. The Normal People actress, 27, was seen at BST Hyde Park on Friday with the photographer, and they looked cosy while chatting with their friends. She has been dating the photographer since September 2023, with their relationship going from strength-to-strength, though they are generally private about their bond. And Daisy has now taken a sweet step with Ben as a flash of her phone during her festival outing revealed that she has set him as her phone lock screen. In a heartwarming gesture, her background was a loved-up snap of her and Ben as she could be seen cuddling up to him. For her Hyde Park outing, Daisy looked stunning in a frilly white lace top and matching skirt, which she paired with a brown handbag and sunglasses. Meanwhile Ben cut a smart figure in a smart striped polo shirt with sunglasses as they enjoyed some drinks in the show. It is not the couple's first outing together in recent days as they spent last weekend at Glastonbury with Daisy's Normal People co-star Paul Mescal and his girlfriend Gracie Abrams. They all lived it up at Glastonbury with Harris Dickinson and India Mullen, as well as Paul's siblings Nell and Donnacha. The couple are relatively private and generally keep their romance under wraps, rarely speaking about one another in interviews. However, Ben is no stranger to a high-profile relationship, having previously dated The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy. He split up with Anya ahead of her beating Daisy to the best actress at the Golden Globes in 2021. Meanwhile, Daisy split from her ex-boyfriend Tom Varey in late 2020 after two years of dating. Daisy is said to be on 'cloud nine' with Ben, who also goes by the artist name Pip. A source previously told The Sun: 'Daisy and Pip got together earlier this year and have become inseparable. 'They have both had some free time this summer and love hanging out in Broadway Market in East London, just going to bars and spending time together. 'There's a real spark there and they are excited about finding each other. They've already met one another's friends and she is on cloud nine.' While Daisy is now enjoying a romance with Ben, Anya has moved on and is loved-up with her husband Malcolm McRae. They secretly tied the knot in New Orleans nearly three years ago before going on to have a second wedding in Venice in October 2023. Elsewhere, Daisy revealed what it is really like working with Hollywood's 'internet boyfriends', referring to her co-stars including Paul Mescal and Glen Powell. Speaking to Elle, Daisy explained: 'I have worked with basically all of the internet's boyfriends, and I'm lucky that every actor I've worked with has been incredibly supportive of me being the lead. Glen, Sebastian, Paul, all of them. 'I think that's why they're so successful and so loved and so good: that they are so generous, and they really serve the story and are not serving themselves. 'Glen was always like, "What's Kate's journey in this? Let's find it." And same with Sebastian; he was so completely invested in Noa's journey. 'Paul's like playing tennis with your best friend. I'm nervous for the point that it comes to working with someone who might not be so chill with it! 'Because there's so much ego that can exist in this industry.'

Elite royal protection cops called in to work Notting Hill Carnival amid growing concerns over event safety

Hundreds of elite cops who usually work protecting the royals and senior politicians are set to be deployed at Notting Hill Carnival this year. The personal protection officers are being brought in over fears of violence or crowd-crushing at the three-day street party. They will work alongside approximately 7,000 Met Police officers at the carnival, which is expected to attract crowds of upwards of two million people, The Telegraph reported. Since many of the officers in the Royal and Specialist Protection (RaSP) command are plain clothes officers, they have had to squeeze into old ill-fitting uniforms or be issued new ones specially for the event. A number have also required training on how to use bodycams, since body-worn video (BWV) is not mandatory in some RaSP roles. The decision to employ the vast majority of the elite officers as 'glorified stewards' has not been received well by those working within these units. One source said: 'They will essentially be working as glorified stewards but they don't have any choice in the matter. It's an order from the top but it could hardly be less welcome.' 'Notting Hill is the least popular job of the year. It's not an exaggeration to say that the vast majority of officers hate working at Notting Hill, even those who do regular public order work. 'The shifts are very long, the conditions are really stressful and it is a pretty thankless role. The crowds seem to get bigger every year and it is extremely difficult to move around.' Nearly 90 per cent of Metropolitan Police officers who responded to a survey last year said they had felt unsafe while working at the annual festival, while 28.78 per cent had been assaulted. Descriptions of working at the event ranged from 'Hell. It's a war zone we are sent into year after year' to 'Dangerous. Officers are treated as lambs to slaughter'. One officer said the police operation was 'overstretched, ineffective and an exercise in self-torture', while another claimed they 'would rather crawl naked through broken glass'. Two million revellers flock to the streets of west London over the August bank holiday weekend every year to enjoy the festival, which is rooted in Caribbean culture. However, the celebration has been marred by serious violence, excessive drinking, drug use and destruction of property. There were two murders, eight stabbings and 349 arrests this year and 61 officers were assaulted, the Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents rank-and-file officers and carried out the survey, said. However, while much of the focus has been on crime and violence, many top ranking officers also fear a crush scenario given the number of attendees squeezed into a relatively small area. In a report from April 2025, the Met Police's Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist said his biggest fear was 'crowd density and the potential for a mass casualty event.' Susan Hall, the vice chairman of the London Assembly police and crime committee, also claimed that policing the array of pro-Palestine protests had placed an additional burdern on the force. Yesterday Pro-Palestine activists disrupted the London Pride parade, covering a float with red paint - as almost 30 people were arrested for expressing support for the banned Palestine Action group a day after it was banned. Four Youth Demand protesters targeted CISCO's truck as they charged the US-based company with 'genocide' and said they have 'no place' at the event. It comes less than 24 hours after Palestine Action was banned and designated as a terrorist organisation.

Ozzy Osbourne's final words on stage: Black Sabbath rocker gives emotional message to fans as he closes out his last ever live performance amid his ailing health

closed out his final ever live performance with some emotional words at Birmingham 's Villa Park Stadium on Saturday night. The rocker, 76, reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for their first performance in their original line-up since 2005 - and their final ever show as a band. Ozzy has spoken openly about his health in recent years after undergoing seven surgeries in the past five years, including a fourth spinal operation in 2023. Ozzy, who has also been battling Parkinson's disease since 2003, plans to keep recording music but said farewell to live performing as 42,000 loyal fans watched on. And the heavy metal singer had some poignant words for Villa Park as he brought the show to an emotional close in his hometown, Birmingham - where Black Sabbath formed some 56 years ago. Closing the band's final gig, Ozzy said: 'It's the last song ever. Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.' A message on screen then read: 'Thank you for everything, you guys are f***ing amazing. Birmingham Forever,' before the sky lit up with fireworks. The band's final performance was overwhelming for frontman Ozzy, who repeatedly thanked fans for their ongoing support over his five decades in the music industry. As the 42,000-strong crowd cheered him on, Ozzy admitted at one point: 'You have no idea how I feel.' And it was quite the moment as Ozzy - who is married to Sharon Osbourne - walked out on stage for his solo set as deafening cheers could be heard all around the jam-packed stadium. Ozzy previously said he was unsure whether he was going to stand or sit down to perform due to his spinal operations, and he made an epic arrival on stage in a black quilted throne with a huge bat on top. With his band putting on a rocking performance around him, Ozzy proved his vocals are as strong as ever as he belted out some of their best-known heavy metal hits. Rocking his signature eyeliner and black nails, the 'Prince of Darkness' wore a leather ensemble and hyped up the crowds as he put his hand to his ear while listening to them scream. 'It's so good to be on this f***ing stage,' Ozzy admitted, before adding: 'Let the madness begin' as his wife Sharon and daughter Kelly proudly watched on. The anticipation was palpable in Ozzy's hometown before his epic show as a string of legendary rock bands took to the stage for the Back to The Beginning concert He appeared overwhelmed with emotional at one point as he thanked the crowd for their steadfast support during his five decades in music. 'Thank you from the bottom of my heart,' he gushed after finishing Suicide Solution. Ozzy kicked off his solo set with hits including I Don't Know, and Blizzard of Ozz as he got the crowds dancing and cheering from the start. Ozzy appeared to be having the time of his life on stage as he soaked up every moment of his final show, egging fans on and wildly waving his arms in the air. He looked completely overwhelmed with the crowd as he finished his short-and-sweet solo set with Crazy Train, with confetti blasting into the air as the music stopped. The audience chanted 'Ozzy, Ozzy' as he left the stage before a touching tribute to Diogo Jota flashed up on screen as a picture of the Liverpool footballer giving a heart sign with his back turned was shown. Jota, 28, and his brother Andre, 26 - also a footballer, who played for Portuguese second division side Penafiel - both died on Thursday following a tragic car crash in Spain. His Lamborghini Huracan had a tyre blow out while he attempted to overtake another vehicle on the A-52 at Cernadilla near Zamora - just ten miles over the border from Portugal. After Ozzy finished up his solo set, he returned with his band Black Sabbath in their first full reunion since 2005, bringing the epic 10-hour long concert to a rocking finish. Before they began, a video of the band played where they reflected on the miracle of their own survival given their crazed lifestyles particularly in their 70s and 80s heyday. The band kicked off their 25-minute set with War Pigs before launching into N.I.B and Iron Man, with the crowds shouting, before they closed the milestone occasion with Paranoid. Guitarist Geezer produced an Aston Villa bass guitar for the final two tracks, while drummer Bill Ward went shirtless at the back of the stage. Closing their last ever gig together, Ozzy said: 'It's the last song ever. Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.' A message on screen then read: 'Thank you for everything, you guys are f***ing amazing. Birmingham Forever,' before the sky lit up with fireworks. The 10-hour long concert also saw sets from other major rock bands including Metallica, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith and Slash as fans came from all over the world to watch - while many more watched via an online stream.
