Pro fighter goes ballistic on a flight then gets escorted out on a stretcher

Mixed martial arts fighter and Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert Aaron 'Tex' Johnson has gone viral after being hauled from a Southwest Airlines flight after getting into a verbal grappling match with passengers and crew.
In the footage, Mr Johnson can be heard calling them 'losers' and 'pieces of s**t.'
The clip of his expletive-laden outburst is currently amassing millions of views on TikTok, X and Instagram however it's yet unclear what kicked off the mile-high mayhem.
The footage shows the heavily-tattooed Johnson, 39 — who is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu — getting into it with a flight attendant over an apparent bag issue shortly after boarding.
'I didn't do anything wrong,' Mr Johnson, who is seated, tells the crew member.
'My bags are in storage. If you call the cops, I'm gonna call the cops on you and hire a lawyer [and] you're f**ked. Don't touch me!'
When a male passenger behind Johnson criticises his actions, the martial artist turns around and confronts him.
'Hit me, you lying-ass f**k,' he yells as his fellow flyers tell him to sit down.
The increasingly agitated Johnson then proceeds to repeatedly call his neighbour a 'loser,' at one point even standing on his seat in his sandals so he can get in his critic's face.
Things come to a head after a female flight attendant grabs him by the arms and pulls him away with the help of another crew member, prompting the grappler to accuse her of 'assault' and 'abuse.'
'Shut your mouth,' she yells at him.
Eventually, she tells Johnson to depart the flight. 'Not on my flight,' the air hostess declares, before instructing him to 'get off my plane.'
At long last, the incensed traveller grabs his bag from the overhead bin and walks off the plane with the blonde crew member right behind as passengers applaud and cheer 'bye.'
Johnson makes it to the main door, but then turns around and continues to berate the flight attendant, accusing her of 'assault' and yelling at her not to touch him.
Fed up with the tirade, a trio of flight attendants confront Johnson and yell at him to 'get off' the aircraft, but he continues to stand at the door.
At one point, he labels another passenger a 'piece of f**king s**t.'
The clip concludes with the crew members and Johnson continuing to go at it as another male passenger approaches the exit and asks if he can provide assistance.
In a follow-up clip taken at the airport, Johnson can be seen in a stretcher getting escorted by police as he yells, 'This is bulls**t.'
'I'm getting treated like a black person right now,' the retired cage fighter declared.
According to local media View From the Wing, Southwest Airlines has since banned Johnson from all its future flights.
After footage of the incident blew up on social media, Johnson posted a somewhat cryptic message on his Instagram stories, writing, 'For anyone trying to drag me down, it doesn't matter to me, I have the best friends.'
'STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT MAY BE PERCEIVED AS RIGHT OR WRONG,' he added, per PaddleYourOwnKanoo.com.
'IF GOD WANTED US TO LIVE A CERTAIN WAY, HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN US BETTER INSTRUCTIONS. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.'
Johnson is an accomplished figure in the BJJ world. According to BJJ Heroes, he is an international Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Federation 3x Pan American No-Gi Champion, although his overall record stands at 87 wins, 70 losses and one draw.
'Johnson is known for his aggressive and submission-oriented style with which he submitted some of the sport's biggest stars, names such as Davi Ramos and Jackson Sousa,' BJJ Heroes writes.
He is also a former mixed martial arts star who competed for various organisations, including Bellator, according to Sherdog.com.

‘Too woke': Star rages after being cut from ‘And Just Like That'

Bobby Lee thinks wokeness is to blame for his exit from And Just Like That, the New York Post reports. The comedian, 53, spoke to Entertainment Weekly at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend about why he wasn't asked to reprise his role as Jackie Nee, Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) podcast co-host, on the third season of the show. 'Some of the woke elements of the show, they got rid of, and I think I was a part of that,' Lee stated. 'I think Sara [Ramirez] didn't come back and some other people,' he added. 'They tried to put minorities in, and — I don't know. I never saw the show.' Lee departed AJLT between Seasons 2 and 3, as did Ramirez, who played Miranda's (Cynthia Nixon) non-binary love interest Che Díaz, and Karen Pittman, who played Dr. Nya Wallace. Season 2 wrapped up Carrie's podcast storyline, which allowed the show to write off Lee and Ramirez. 'Number one, I don't even know why they asked,' Lee told EW about being cast in the HBO Max series. 'And I was super scared to do it. Because it wasn't my brand, really. You know what I mean? But I did it. I walked through the fear.' Lee added that getting to work with Parker, 60, was a highlight of the experience. 'Sarah Jessica Parker is the nicest person I've ever met. She made me feel so at ease,' he shared. 'I like everyone on there. It was fun. I never have bad blood with anybody. You know what I mean? I am nice. I show up on time.' Lee previously revealed that working on the Sex and the City reboot pushed him to get sober. 'I was in Hawaii and I was blackout drunk and my agent called and said, 'They need you in New York,'' he recalled on Rachel Bilson's Broad Ideas podcast in 2023. 'This is one of the reasons why I'm sober … On the plane, I thought, 'I'm just gonna get sh*t faced,' so I was in a blackout when we landed in New York.' Lee said that he learned he was expected to film AJLT that day when he realised that his driver wasn't taking him to his hotel. 'I remember going and being so high and drunk,' Lee revealed. 'When I was reading the script, I couldn't even understand what the f*ck it was even saying. It was a nightmare. I remember thinking, 'This is never going to happen again — I have to get sober.'' New episodes of And Just Like That stream Thursdays at 11am AEST on HBO Max.

‘Are you joking?': Age-gap debate erupts over potential new celeb romance

There's been a flurry of excitement over the very idea that Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson could be dating, but there's also a growing sense people are over the age-gap romance. Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, are currently promoting their film The Naked Gun, and in true Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell style, everyone's wondering if their on-screen chemistry has translated to a real-life love affair, as both gush about each other while on the press circut. Anderson described Neeson as the 'perfect gentleman' and someone with whom she has a connection. 'I have a friend forever in Liam and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy,' she said. Meanwhile, Neeson praised Anderson for having zero ego, claiming he was 'madly in love with her' platonically as she's terrific to work with. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you,' he said. It's an absolute lovefest, and rooting for them as a couple is an extra layer of fun for fans because both have been unlucky in love. Anderson has been married five times, and Neeson tragically lost his wife, Natasha Richardson, in 2009, and has never remarried. It isn't unusual for co-stars to become close when trying to promote a movie, but online people are really loving the idea of the pair dating. 'I would absolutely love these two together,' one gushed. Someone called them 'extremely cute', another fan said they'd make a 'hot' couple, and someone else described the match as 'truly adorable' if true. In a real sign that things are changing, there are also people disapproving of the 15-year age gap. 'Problematic age-gap,' one person claimed. 'Gross!' Another remarked. 'When Pamela was being born, Liam Neeson would already been in a 10th grader. A 10th grader,' someone else pointed out. There were, of course, people slamming those who were upset by the age gap, with someone asking, 'Are you joking?' and another pointing out that they're both 'grown adults,' so it is fine. While someone said it was 'definitely not' problematic, but argued that if one was in their 40s and the other in their 20s, it would be. Today is a far cry from years past, before these debates could be had in comment sections across the internet. People didn't even really blink when Tom Cruise married Katie Holmes, 16 years his junior, in 2016. There certainly wasn't much concern when George Clooney married Amal Clooney, who is 17 years his junior, in 2014. The cultural response to age gaps in the early 2000s was so blasé that people are still surprised to learn that Ryan Reynolds is a decade older than Blake Lively. Age gaps just weren't conversation starters, so the fact that people online are even flagging or noticing a potential couple's 15-year age gap says everything. People went from not being outraged at men in their late 40s marrying women in their 20s to people being upset about a potential age-gap romance between two movie stars who both have adult children. The culture has shifted, or at the very least is shifting.

Ex-Ryder Cup player Hunter Mahan unrecognisable in Happy Gilmore 2

Former world No. 4 golfer Hunter Mahan has been left unrecognisable as he took a new job as Adam Sandler's body double in Happy Gilmore 2. The iconic comedy had its sequel released on Netflix on Friday and it featured many cameos from the world of golf, The Sun reports. Golf stars such as John Daly, Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka, as well as influencer Paige Spirinac, all took up roles. But Mahan was given the honour of being Sandler's body double in order to show off Happy Gilmore's perfect swing. The former Ryder Cup Team USA star, 43, shared a post on Instagram showing his transformation into Happy. The process saw him given facial hair and a haircut. He also had make-up and a new wardrobe to match Sandler's character. 'When they called and said Happy Gilmore needs a golf swing double, I said say no more,' Mahan wrote. 'Honoured to get to be a part of Happy Gilmore 2 and witness Adam Sandler's comedic genius come to life first-hand! 'Here's a little behind-the-scenes look of my transformation into Happy – shoutout to the hair and makeup team, that crew is incredible and so hard working! 'And some fun from set. 'Such an awesome experience and capped it off by bringing my daughter Zoe to the premiere earlier this week.' The video ended with him showing off the familiar walk-up swing of the beloved movie character. Fans loved seeing the reveal on social media as they flooded the comment section. One posted: 'Man this is so badass.' A second wrote: 'This is awesome! Great stuff.' A third commented: 'This is so cool Hunter.' A fourth said: 'I was just thinking why is his swing actually good in the movie.' Another added: 'I've seen enough. Induct Hunter in the Hall of Fame now.'
