P4 Foundation launched to eradicate poverty by 2029
After reviewing six proposed designs, the official P4 logo was approved. The Chief Minister directed extensive outreach measures to promote the logo and share success stories and case studies of 'Bangaru Kutumbams' that have benefited. He also emphasised adequate recognition for mentors.
To ensure widespread and effective execution, CM Naidu announced the formation of two central committees: a state-level executive committee and an advisory committee. Furthermore, P4 chapters will be established at both district and constituency levels. These chapters will comprise vice-chairmen of the Swarnandhra-P4 Foundation (including assigned ministers), public representatives, and government officials, ensuring a collaborative approach across all administrative tiers.
The immediate goal is to identify 1.5 million 'Bangaru Kutumbams' by August 15 and appoint 1,00,000 dedicated guides. These guides will provide continuous support, offering initial aid and ongoing mentorship. 'It's not enough to assist once; we need committed mentors who stay engaged,' the CM stressed. He urged the identification of mentors from diverse backgrounds, including NRIs, industry leaders, and philanthropists, who are already contributing to poverty alleviation.
'With P4, our vision is to eliminate poverty in the state by 2029. This isn't an ordinary goal—it's a battle we must win to make history,' declared Naidu. He highlighted that resolve can make the impossible possible and encouraged the adoption of evolving development paradigms such as PPP (Public-Private Partnership) models and new VGF (Viability Gap Funding) mechanisms to accelerate the state's growth.
Each constituency aims to select 6,000–10,000 'Bangaru Kutumbams,' presenting a significant opportunity for MLAs to serve their constituents directly.
The Chief Minister specifically lauded Bapatla district for its exemplary leadership in P4 implementation, attributing its success to the dedication of local representatives and the district collector. Ministers, public representatives, Swarnandhra-P4 Foundation vice-chairman Parivararao, and principal secretary chief secretary K Vijayanand were among the senior officials present at the meeting.

Release job notifications, demand unemployed youth in Telangana
HYDERABAD: Demanding the release of all pending job notifications and payment of unemployment allowance , members of the Telangana Nirudyoga JAC on Friday tried to gherao the Secretariat. Backed by various student organisations, the unemployed youth warned that they would organise a massive dharna if the state govt failed to release at least a few notifications before the panchayat elections. "It is because of unemployed youth that the Congress govt has come to power. Now, they are least bothered to fulfil the promises made to the unemployed youth. The govt is completely neglecting us by delaying job opportunities. If they don't release at least a couple of notifications before the panchayat election dates are announced, the youth will teach them a lesson in the polls," said Umesh Madipeddi from the JAC, adding that a curfew-like situation prevailed at RTC Crossroads and near the Secretariat to foil ' Chalo Secretariat ' programme. They alleged that tens of unemployed youth and student leaders were picked up by police on Thursday night to prevent them from reaching the Secretariat. "The govt should implement the job calendar and issue notifications for jobs, fill all vacant positions in govt departments. It should focus on issuing job notifications with the same attention it shows in making arrests," said Anaganti Venkatesh, state secretary, DYFI. He claimed that over 200 people were picked up by the police. Meanwhile, the police said that though a large number of people tried to reach the Secretariat, only 10 of them were successful, as others were picked up from different locations to prevent them from participating in the 'Chalo Secretariat' programme. "The ten people, who reached the Secretariat, were also picked up," police added.

Jagan claims collapse of law and order in Andhra, demands President's rule
YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has demanded the imposition of President's Rule in Andhra Pradesh, alleging a total breakdown of law and order under the TDP-led NDA government. Jagan also alleged that YSRCP workers were being "assaulted" for defying the ruling TDP.(Facebook) The former chief minister alleged that YSRCP leaders and activists were being targeted through false cases, "illegal" arrests, and an "organised campaign of political harassment". "When there is no protection to politicians and citizens, law and order is deteriorating, and the Constitution is being violated, then why shouldn't President's rule be imposed?" Reddy posed on 'X'. He said on Friday that the recent attack on Dalit village panchayat president Nagamalleswar Rao of Mannava village in Guntur district in broad daylight shows the "lawlessness" in the state and the video of that incident depicts the gravity of the situation. Jagan also alleged that YSRCP workers were being "assaulted" for defying the ruling TDP and questioned whether people are truly safe under the Chandrababu Naidu government. Meanwhile, YSRCP SC Cell president TJR Sudhakar Babu accused Naidu of insulting Dalits. He alleged that the chief minister demeaned Dalit YSRCP supporter C Singayya, who died by allegedly falling under the wheels of Jagan Mohan Reddy's convoy at Etukuru Cross in Guntur district. Naidu likened Singayya to a dog and resorted to disrespecting the deceased person and politicising the tragedy, Babu alleged. The YSRCP leader also accused Naidu of showcasing "a pattern of hurling casteist insults", and cited previous remarks by TDP leaders, ostensibly questioning Dalits' education and political rights. Babu alleged that CM Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh prioritise real estate over welfare and foster violence against Dalits, and demanded a full probe into Singayya's death.

India added one new airport every 40 days in last 10 years: Civil Aviation Minister
New Delhi: In just 10 years, the country have seen 88 new airports — nearly one new airport every 40 days — and added 60 additional flights every hour, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has said. According to the minister, flying in India today is more accessible, more available and more affordable. 'Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian skies are more connected, competitive and collaborative, said Naidu, reiterating the ministry's commitment to collaborative, state-specific strategies for achieving inclusive aviation growth. He was speaking at the 'Northern Region Ministers' Conference on Civil Aviation 2025' in Dehradun, organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation 'Through this strategic initiative we aim to identify the regional opportunities and unlock the vast potential of Tier 2 and 3 cities. If we look at the sector through numbers, then we can clearly see the scale of the opportunity that exists,' Naidu told the gathering. At the event, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami underlined the pivotal role of aviation in enhancing regional connectivity, enabling tourism, and supporting socio-economic development in the state. He appreciated the phenomenal growth in the aviation sector and highlighted the prime importance of ensuring safety in the aviation operations, including helicopter operations in the hilly terrain of the state for which 'the state government and the Ministry are deeply committed'. A series of presentations was made by the Ministry on opportunities for the states in the aviation sector. The plenary session provided an overall outlook emerging from the day-long conference, where Naidu outlined the Ministry's strategic priorities for the region, including the development of heliport infrastructure, expansion of UDAN routes, strengthening of Flying Training Organizations and MRO hubs, and creating synergies between the Centre, states and industry stakeholders. The Minister also reflected on key outcomes from the one-on-one meetings held between the Ministry and state delegations, and parallel sessions between state governments and aviation industry leaders, and assured all support from the Central Government in taking the aviation sector forward.
