'I found leftovers of Charli XCX's wedding cake and shared it with my friends'

Brat singer Charlie XCX married her long-term beau, 1975 star George Daniel, this weekend at an intimate London ceremony – but one fan managed to sample some of the goods on offer, she claims
A woman has claimed she managed to sample some of Charli XCX's wedding cake, leaving fans stunned. The Brat sensation wowed in a short white dress, veil, and her signature black sunglasses as she married her long-term boyfriend, George Daniel over the weekend in an intimate London ceremony.

The 32-year-old tied the knot at Hackney Town Hall in front of their parents and a small group of friends. Later in the night, they headed to Italian restaurant Dalla with around 20 guests and carried on the party at a local bar - and one fan says they were able to taste test leftovers from the sweet treat.

A waiter working that night gave the leftover cake that the couple did not want to one of her friends named Ruby. The cake, made by Violet's Cakes by Claire Ptak, featured white icing and a fig on top.

Ruby, who says she "swears she's not a stalker", was gobsmacked after she thought she would only be getting a slice of the cake, but ended up with everything that was left over from the big day.
Ruby shared what happened on her TikTok page and said: "My friend works in the restaurant where they had their wedding reception last night and they had some cake left over and I was talking to him today.
"He was like, 'Oh, do you want to swing by and get a slice?' He boxed up a slice for me, a slice for me, and then I think it was the owner of the restaurant that was like, 'Do you just want it? It's going to go in the bin.'"

After doing a taste test, Ruby said it was "lovely". She said her friends told her she could make some money and sell the cake to fans, but Ruby said she felt it was wrong.
Ruby boxed up a couple of pieces for her pals, admitting that they are all huge fans of the singer. She said: "How fun for everyone to be able to say they've had a slice of Charli and George's wedding cake."

One shocked individual commented: "Imagine just sitting in your house eating Mr and Mrs XCX's wedding cake on a random day." "May this type of luck find me," added another.
"This is so weird but so iconic at the same time," noted another.
Another said: "Oh wow, that was not on my bingo card to see a review of Charli and George's wedding cake - I love the internet."
But others seemed confused. "What if she wants it back?" said one. "This doesn't sit right with me," commented another. "Is this considered theft?" questioned another.
Backing up Ruby, one individual said: "Guys, as someone who also works at a restaurant, it is very common that people don't want to take the rest of their wedding cake home with them and then everyone in the kitchen gets to chow down on it. It's really not weird."
One other said: "I used to spend my summer's working as a cater waiter - haven eaten many stranger's wedding cake in my time."

The ‘curl & scrunch' trick Princess Andre swears by for gorgeous long waves with zero heat damage

SHE may be a nepo baby who grew up in the spotlight, but Princess Andre is now paving her own way. Just last week, she was crowned Tatler's second best-dressed star in Britain. Advertisement 4 Princess Andre has revealed her hair hack when perfecting the curl Credit: TikTok 4 She explained what the 'curl & scrunch' is Credit: TikTok 4 Princess also revealed how to do the curly hair trick without using heat Credit: Getty And it's not just fashion where she's making waves - the daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price is also a beauty icon, with fans clamouring for her hair secrets. Princess has become known for her stunning, long, naturally curly hair, and the secret to her gorgeous locks is a simple, heat-free trick she recently shared on TikTok. For anyone wanting to achieve beautiful, bouncy waves without using a curling iron, her "curl & scrunch" method is a game-changer. The 18-year-old posted a step-by-step tutorial for her 882.9k followers, and the video has since gone viral with 1.2 million views and 53.6k likes. Advertisement The key to her routine isn't heat, but the right combination of products and a technique that enhances her natural curls. How to Get the Look The process starts with a good brush to ensure there are "absolutely no knots." Princess then sections her hair, clipping the top half out of the way to focus on the bottom. She makes sure each section is "soaked" with water before adding a "good amount" of curl cream. Advertisement "I feel like this is a really important step," she explains, "but always brush away from your face. I just feel like this defines the curls so much more." Trailer for the upcoming series of The Princess Diaries starring Princess Andre The magic truly happens with her signature two-step method: finger curling and scrunching. She precisely finger curls her hair to make the curls "so defined," then scrunches her hair, listening for that "squishy noise" that tells her the product is working. After repeating this on all sections, she scrunches her hair with a towel and then flips her head forward to add mousse or gel for extra hold. Advertisement Although she says she doesn't diffuse her hair until it's "fully dry," she does use a diffuser for a little bit before letting the rest air-dry. 4 Princess has also recently renewed a major beauty deal Credit: Instagram The result is her signature head of gorgeous, bouncy waves—all done with minimal heat. Fans flocked to the comments to praise her look, with one writing: "You've always had beautiful hair. Advertisement "Love this pretty girl." Another added: "Beautiful young woman. While a third simply commented: "Beautiful." Princess Andre has renewed her major beauty deal with Studio London for a second year. Advertisement Last year, she was announced as the face of the brand's affordable cosmetics line and will continue to work with them for another 12 months. An insider revealed: 'Princess has been a huge hit with Superdrug and they couldn't wait to snap her up again. 'She has such wide appeal and has already shown just how much she can do for the brand.'

I was thrilled to get a council house after 6 months of waiting – but trolls hated me for calling it my ‘forever home'

Plus, how to do up your council house for cheap PROPER-TY I was thrilled to get a council house after 6 months of waiting – but trolls hated me for calling it my 'forever home' GETTING the keys to a new home is a moment of pure joy, especially for a single mother looking to build a stable future for her kids. But for Mari, a recent move-in quickly turned sour when her happiness was attacked by online trolls. 2 Mari has revealed how she has finally managed to get her own council home Credit: Tiktok/@marikikix After waiting just six months on the council house list, Marika, who goes by @marikikix on TikTok, was over the moon to get a house with a huge garden. In a viral video posted on May 18, she called it a "dream come true" and her "forever home." The video quickly gained over 150,000 views, but not all the comments were positive. The backlash focused on her use of the term "forever home," with many believing a council property shouldn't be considered one. One user wrote: "When people call council houses their 'forever home', what aspiration." Another added: "A council house should never be a 'forever home'," suggesting that the term should be reserved for owned properties. The criticism highlights a common misconception about council housing. Many commenters seemed to believe these homes are "free," which is far from the truth. As one TikTok user pointed out: "I live in a council house that I pay £600 a month for. "I've never claimed benefits in my life. I work two jobs! They are not free, believe me." Trolls say council houses can't look nice but my stunning hallway will prove them wrong Amidst the negativity, other users rushed to Marika's defense. "Why's everyone being so awful in the comments?? They're happy, and that's all that counts!" one person commented. Others, however, focused on the practical side of council housing, with one user asking for advice on how Marika got a place so quickly. A helpful reply noted that "everyone's circumstances are different" and advised speaking directly with a council caseworker. Major council home rule A significant policy shift is on the horizon for council house residents, as the Labour party plans to introduce stringent new restrictions on the Right to Buy scheme. The new rules would exempt newly built council houses from the Right to Buy for a period of 35 years. 2 She showed off her huge garden in the TikTok video Credit: Tiktok/@marikikix This marks a major change to the long-standing government initiative. However, the proposed changes have already drawn criticism. Kevin Hollinrake, the shadow housing secretary, has labelled Deputy Labour Leader Angela Rayner a "hypocrite" for advocating the new restrictions. This is because Rayner herself previously benefited from the Right to Buy scheme. According to The Telegraph, Rayner purchased her former council house in Stockport for £79,000 in 2017, securing a 25% discount. She later sold the property for £48,500 more than her purchase price.
