A New Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Colorway Is Arriving at Retailers Right Now
Available now at retailers including Footpatrol is a new Air Max 95 OG in 'Obsidian/Obsidian/Varsity Maize.' The look's navy and yellow combination has drawn comparisons to the Michigan Wolverines, and while not an original colorway, the design itself is reminiscent of some of the model's popular 2000s-era styles.

Bo Jackson's Iconic Nike Air Trainer SC Sneaker Is Coming Back in Time for Summer
This Nike Collaboration Was Released in an Unusual Place - and Every Single Pair Is Customized
It's colored in a predominantly obsidian upper with maize accenting throughout, including contrast stitching which highlights the Air Max 95's human anatomy-inspired design. The yellow shade also fills in the sneaker's enlarged Air units, which have been tweaked to more closely resemble the classic running sneaker's original look.
While this sneaker does not bear any official Wolverines branding, Nike has a long history with the University of Michigan. The school was featured in Nike's groundbreaking 1985 Dunk High 'Be True To Your School' pack. Later, as endorsement wars heated up, Michigan left Nike for Adidas in 2007 before realigning with the Beaverton, Oregon-based company in 2016 — to the tune of up to $173.8 million. The school's football team was the first Jordan-backed team.
With a stateside release unconfirmed, this Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble 'Michigan' style is available now from retailers including Footpatrol for a retail price of 175 pounds, which, as of publishing, converts to around $229 before overseas shipping is factored in. The sneaker's SKU is IB7936-400.

WORKSOUT and Nike Unveil the Air Max 95 in 'Thunder Blue'
Name:WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 'Thunder Blue'Colorway:Thunder Blue/Summit White-Enigma StoneSKU:HQ0263-400MSRP:$190Release Date:2025Where to Buy:Nike,WORKSOUT South Korean streetwear retailerWORKSOUTcontinues its collaborative relationship withNike, this time reimagining the iconicAir Max 95silhouette in a bold yet understated 'Thunder Blue' colorway. The design draws from WORKSOUT's signature formula — clean, performance-driven details, elevated textures, and modernist restraint — while leaning into the brand's continued exploration of school uniform aesthetics and next-gen minimalism. The shoe features a deep navy gradient upper, enhanced by subtle Summit White and Enigma Stone accents that create tonal contrast across the layered panels. The most notable detail is a marbled texture applied to the upper, adding depth and dimensionality to the traditionally smooth Air Max 95 profile. A large, textured lateral Swoosh anchors the side profile, subtly elevated by tonal contrasts and branding that may nod to WORKSOUT's original storefront signage. The design introduces an updated lacing system, reflective paneling, and glow-in-the-dark detailing along the wave-like overlays — adding both visual intrigue and functional flair in low light. At the heel, the construction subtly opens up to reveal the inner layers, creating a sharp visual break from the marbled upper — a thoughtful detail that adds depth and contrast to the silhouette. Underfoot, visible Air units in the forefoot and heel provide familiar cushioning and bounce, tucked into a muted tan sole. Finishing touches include minimal branding on the tongue and insole, rounding out a clean, well-balanced design. The overall palette is quiet but calculated — aesthetically rooted in utility, but elevated through premium finishes and subtle storytelling.

"Thanks for the Nike ad" - Caitlin Clark fires back at Kelsey Plum after her thoughtless Instagram post
"Thanks for the Nike ad" - Caitlin Clark fires back at Kelsey Plum after her thoughtless Instagram post originally appeared on Basketball Network. The rivalry between Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has helped the WNBA reach the popularity it has today. Some even compared them to Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, who brought their college competition from the college ranks to the pros and revolutionized the NBA. But while the Clark-Reese rivalry remains as strong as ever, the former may be building another one with Kelsey Plum. During last season's WNBA All-Star Game, Plum earned notoriety for picking up Clark full court on defense, despite it being an exhibition game. She explained why she did it, and Clark's fans seemed to have accepted her reasoning. But in recent weeks, the two have been going back and forth, although with words and off the court only. The most recent one was Clark commenting on an Instagram post by Plum. Plum had the Swoosh on her Instagram post After the All-Star weekend in Indiana, every All-Star was talking about their experience on social media. Plum herself did it with an Instagram post captioned, "What a weekend." But perhaps innocently, she did not realize that in the background of her photo was the Nike logo, and Clark was quick to point that out to her. Plum used to be a Nike athlete, but in 2022, she jumped ship and signed with Under Armour after five years with the Swoosh brand. She wore the "Plumberry" colorway of UA Breakthru 5 shoes during Saturday's WNBA All-Star game. Meanwhile, Clark is Nike's top WNBA athlete, whom they re-signed to a $28 million multi-year deal in April 2024. She wears PEs of Kobe Bryant's shoes, and she's debuted a handful in the last couple of months. For the All-Star game, Clark paraded a new Kobe 5 Protro PE. Related: Dave Portnoy says anybody who doesn't think WNBA players deserve a salary raise is a moron: "This is marketing and the ability to make money on this league" Plum took a swipe at Clark's team Clark's comment may have been a revenge for what Plum said about her one day earlier. Reporters asked Plum about the All-Stars wearing a black T-shirt printed with "Pay us what you owe us" at the front. After explaining how they ended up wearing the shirt, she took a jab at Clark by saying that zero members of her team were present at the players' meeting. Sabrina Ionescu, who was on the podium with her, was unimpressed with her bringing that up. "That really needed to be mentioned," she said sarcastically. Earlier this season, Plum told a fan wearing a Clark T-shirt inside Arena to "do better" before giving her a Los Angeles Sparks shirt and taking a picture with her. A week earlier, when the Sparks faced the Fever, she also tried to get the referees to call a technical foul on Clark, who didn't play but was standing and talking on the Indiana bench. It looked like both Plum and Clark were laughing after the "snitching" incident, and everything seemed to be friendly banter between two WNBA stars. Still, this thing between them could be low-key becoming a new rivalry in the league.
